WAOH!!!!!!!!!She's sexy and she knows it. The Bajan beauty rocked last night in her outfit at the Brit Awards 2012, where she even went home with an award- Best International Female Artist. The beaded sparkler from Givenchy Spring 2012 Couture was gorgeous.

The Ubuntu collection for 2012 at the London Fashion week A/W 2012 Vauxhall Fashion Scout show was not a strictly Southern African package. Unlike the inaugural edition of the show in 2011, this second edition saw a collaboration with Nigeria and was tagged-The Nigerian Focus. According to the organisers the platform is being enlarged to accommodate more. Africa is the main focus and the idea is to help project African talents properly and correctly to a wider audience.

First to come out were the designs by Ayo Van Elmar, a young and very talented Vienna based designer, who we 1st encountered late last year. Ayo showcased outfits made from Aso Oke in different colours. The models came out looking like African princesses, wearing traditional Hausa hats that had lighted incense at the top, on their Aso Oke outfits and they had their feet decorated with laili.

Following closely after Ayo's showcase, was a relatively new Designer-Samantha Dollar, whose brand Zohi Taglit shown like a meteorite, her exquisitely sown designs made with a mix of Ankara and other fabrics was very well received. She was followed by Studio 24 whose street inspired outfits designed by Joan Okorodudu for the brand, was a breath of fresh air.

And the final showcase was by Joan Okorodudu for the House of Jola, whose designs ethos we believe from what we saw was to design well cut, well sewn and very wearable (functional) outfits without unnecessary accompaniments.

AFRICA ROCKS! THE UBUNTU COLLECTION@THE LONDON FASHION WEEK A/W 2012:VAUXHALL FASHION SCOUT

PART 1.

Hellooooooooooo!, it was a beautiful day a few days ago at the Vauxhall Fashion Scout, Ubuntu Collection, which was part of the London Fashion Week A/W 2012. This is the 2nd showing of the Ubuntu project and this year instead of just the South African showcase, it included the Nigerian project. Nigeria was represented at the showcase by House of Jola-Joan Okorodudu, Studio 24, Ayo Van Elmar-a Vienna based Nigerian designer and Samantha Dollar of Zohi Taglit

And on the ramp representing Africa and Nigeria were the former best model of the world-Olubunmi Ademokoya, Aisha Bello-former winner of Nigeria's Next SuperModel, the current winner of Nigeria's Next SuperModel 2011/2012- Imade Ogbewi and the 2nd runner-up at the same model search-Ajoke Taiwo. Apart from this 4 from Isis Model, there were 2 other Nigerian models who also strutted gallantly on the catwalk, they were Oluchi and Seyi of Isis International.

The event venue was the Freemasons Hall, London. And we couldn't believe our eyes, when just 5 minutes to the start of the showcase, the hall was filled up to capacity, with many standing around to view a superb show. We saw blogger extraordinaire-One Nigerian Boy in the crowd, top UK based Nigerian designer Adebayo Jones, editor of FAB Magazine Sinem Onabanjo was at the Front row, so also was the editor of Arise Magazine Helen Jennings,top UK based Nigerian Designer Nkwo Onwuka, Waheed Olagunju of Bank of Industry,Ifeanyi Oputa of Studio 24, Ronke Ademiluyi of AFWL,Sammie & Tola Onigbanjo and several others. As to be expected the backstage was chaotic, everyone wanting to do a great job in a little space and in the short time allotted, hair and make-up artists, designers and their stylists all doing last minute fittings etc. At the end of the whole chaos backstage, which is hidden from the crowd outside, a world class show is delivered by the show producers, who were on the edge till the show was delivered.

The Ubuntu showcase was opened by an extraordinarily creative Designer by the name- Clifton Lotter, with beautiful music from the homeland(Africa) in the background, the models seemingly floated on the catwalk wearing Clifton's outfit with much aplomb! In this showcase, are the designs by Clifton Lotter, Frankli Wild & Jose Hendo. Enjoy!

The next showcase was by Frankli Wild, a jewellery designer based in Johannesburg, South Africa, whose designs can only be described has-vava voooom! Not one's usual every day jewellery to wear to occasion, but one must realize that fashion shows are there to showcase one's creative abilities.

Immediately after the Jewellery showcase, was the showcase by Jose Hendo, a wonderfully talented Ugandan born but UK based designer, whose creativity is not limited to designing alone, but also in the making of the fabrics used in her design project. We were especially mesmerized by 2 of the outfits she wore personally, the fabrics were 1st class, the designs first grade and the fit great.

Finally after many weeks, we have the full pictorial of one of the weddings of the year. It was the joining together of the kids of 2 of the Eastern heavyweights- Governor of Abia- Dr. Theodore Orji's daughter Nneoma and top politician Senator Ifeanyi Araurume's son-Obinna.

We heard the stadium in the home state of the Governor was filled to capacity, as many came from far and near to witness the traditional ceremony of the Governor's beautiful daughter to her heartthrob. 77 DESIGNERS,6 CONTINENTS SETS FOR ARISE AFRICA FASHION WEEK 2012

Lagos, Nigeria would be the focus from all parts of the world in the next few weeks. The country would play host to some of the very best talents from the country and many others from far and wide. Last year's edition of the same show was outstanding in many ways, so everyone is already anticipating an extraordinary show in March of 2012. ADIEU! ADEOLA RANDOLPH. A PERFECT GENTLEMAN, a good guy gone home too soon.

We totally forgot to write about this. But it’s better late than never. Young, handsome and very industrious friend of many-Adeola Randolph gave up the ghost in Nigeria, sometime last-week. Cause of death? The most unlikely thing- Asthma attack!

Friends and family members of the suave, young guy have since not been able to come to terms with the sudden demise of such a fantastic friend of many, whose life was cut short in his prime-Age 31 going 32.

According to unconfirmed report, Adeola had an attack at home in the early hours of February 6, 2012 and was rushed to the hospital, but he later gave up the ghost at the clinic he was rushed to, some have said his death might have been avoided but for some negligence on the part of the hospital, because they didn't have enough Oxygen! The truth about that assertion has not being confirmed.

Things were just falling into place for him, when he went to the great beyond: He had just bought his Range Rover SUV and things were looking bright and great. He was a staff of a company based in Abuja called-PetroEnergy, he graduated from Coventry University in the UK, and before then he was a popular student at the famous secondary school-Atlantic Hall.

Knowing the ever overly suspicious Nigerian people, Adeola was said to have changed his BB status to "Living in the Sky" just a few days before he passed on.

He would be sorely missed by many- his Mom- nee Benson, dad and his younger siblings- Franny & Jake and very many of his friends. Just a few weeks before he died, he was the best-man to Soji Adegbenro at the latter's wedding ceremony.

May his ever gentle soul continually rest in peace. We commiserate with the family.

The delight-some lady behind such brands like Supreme Stitches, Rose of Sharon and Executive Director at FAMFA Oil, an indigenous Nigerian oil and gas exploration and production company, which is owned by her family was on CNN African Voices 2 days ago. She was interviewed by the crew of African Voices at her beautiful apartment located at Knightsbridge in the UK.

The eponymously named Knightsbridge is the district where some of the super-duper rich of London resides, it comprises of the south of Hyde Park, the east of South Kensington and West of Sloane Street. It is known to be an ultra-expensive residential area.

We loved that gorgeously black grand piano that was showing behind her as the revealing interview was going on. Always stylish and on point, the gorgeous Philanthropist, former award winning designer of note and now oil magnate revealed her background, highlighting her growing up years, her educational background, her foray into the business of oil and the journey prior to hitting oil in commercial quantity. As an introduction, the producers of the show-CNN African voices described-Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija as a Nigerian Billionaire.

Hear her- “I am a proud Nigerian". On how she started- I started as a secretary, a career path chosen for me by my dad. I was the personal secretary to a bank MD. The first corporate affairs person, at the now defunct IMB. She later moved on from the corporate affairs department to the treasury department of the same company, it was from here she later moved on to set up her own business.

Talking about why she took up fashion and her fashion sense, she credits that to her family. Her mom used to be a fabric merchant and she used to help out, and through that she learnt a lot. After leaving the corporate world in the early 80's (1984), she left to go the UK to study fashion designing. She came back to Nigeria in 1985 a year after her training and started her fashion house-Supreme Stitches at a 3-Bedroom apartment in Surulere, Lagos and a year after establishing the company, she emerged as the best Designer in the country in 1986.

Talking about her upbringing and growing up years- she said she was born in 1951 into a large family, her dad had 8 wives and 52 children in his lifetime and she was the second surviving child, her mom was the first wife. Quoting her, I had a very happy childhood and enjoyed my upbringing, was taught etiquette and how to sit at the table. She and her younger sister were sent to school abroad when she was 7 years old. They went to a school in Wales, a private school for girls in Northern Wales, and they were the only coloured (black) girls in the school. And because their fellow mates couldn't pronounce their names, they coined them names-Flo for Folorunsho and Doyle for Doyin. They were in the school for 4 years, and at age 11 she and Doyle moved back to Nigeria at the request of their parents who didn't want them to lose their African values, culture and tradition.

On marriage- She got married in 1976 to her loving husband and between them they have 4 kids, all boys. Who all schooled abroad and are all engaged one way or the other in the family business.

On her involvement in the oil and gas industry, she explained that through a friend she met while was still actively involved in the world of fashion, they got involved in the business of oil. There was an oil bloc no one wanted at that time for several reasons, it was this same oil bloc they got allocated. They were approached in late 1996 by the then oil giant Texaco who were sure the bloc had potentials as they had done their home work well, and after negotiations that spanned 3 months we all agreed on terms and the rest like they say is history. Later Texaco became Chevron and we struck oil in commercial quantity and we were told the oil had been collecting in that field for 17 million years. We consider ourselves lucky that we were allocated that particular oil field. That's the early history of FAMFA OIL.

On philanthropy- She became a more religious person at the age of 40 & from then on found passion in caring for the under-privileged. And this passion led to her establishing a foundation-Rose of Sharon Foundation. The foundation's main focus is in helping widows, orphans and their families any which way possible, she believes there is a particular stigma widows face that affects them adversely, so her idea is to be a stop gap for these marginalised set, who by African culture and tradition lose out immediately after the death of their husbands. So her idea is to help provide a platform that aids by helping with interest free loans to at-least start a business or continue with one. A most welcomed development we think, if a few more of our well to do (rich, wealthy) would endeavour to stand in the gap and help the less privileged then the world would be a much better place to live in. Her foundation also hopes to do more, by building schools or vocational centres.

Her achievements till date and her philosophy on life and hopes for the future are all in a book- The hand that gives a rose which would be launched soon.

Suzzy Q MURDERED BY BOYFRIEND

The whole of Lagos is agog with the sad news of the demise of Susan Yusuf- better known to all as Suzzy Q, who used to own popular fun-spot named Suzzy Q, that later became SQ Lounge on the Island. She used to partner with Da' Prince Omoba briefly when the fun-spot was briefly renamed Jonzing!

According to unconfirmed reports Suzzy and her boyfriend had ongoing argument which later escalated into a fight, where bottles were broken and ended with her boyfriend stabbing her severally and he later ripped open her stomach, it was her cry and shout for help that attracted her neighbours at the 1004 apartments who had tried to rescue her or find out what was amiss, before the boyfriend trying to escape the scene of the dastardly act jumped from the 6TH floor of the D-block of the 1004 apartments and plunged to his own death, some have already concluded that his death was an apparent suicide.

Unconfirmed report said that the late business woman was shouting the name of Wande Coal, to come to her rescue as the superstar musician is supposedly her neighbour on the floor of the apartment building. But before any help could get her way, the terrible deed had already occurred and she was found in a pool of her own blood.

Sad, sad news. Investigations are ongoing to find out what majorly must have caused the fight in the first instance.

One of the most gifted musician of her generation and actress- the lady known to all as the Legendary Whitney has passed on at the age of 48.

She was found dead in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, where she was staying as a guest. She was pronounced dead at 3.55PM. Hotel staffers and fire department officials had tried their best to resuscitate her without success before the Police arrived on the scene.

The troubled star had had a running battle with drug addiction for a long while and was also in a troubled marriage to her ex-husband- Bobby Brown whom she later divorced. She was positively identified by family members and friends that were at the hotel.

She would be missed by many and her death would one way or the other affects this year's Grammy awards ceremony which is just a few hours away.

The police are still investigating the probable cause of her death, but as at now nothing untoward is being suspected.

He was at a point a Special Advisor to Santa Isabel Petroleum Company, a subsidiary of the China National Petroleum Company.

The actual birthday date was Thursday, February 2, 2012 and to celebrate hitting the very significant age-40 years old (a number that has come to symbolize a rebirth or the beginning of a new life), family members and friends threw for him a private party that had ‘just about a hundred guests’ in attendance. The venue was the very imposing mansion atop the hill in Minna i.e. General Babangida’s Hilltop Mansion in the Niger state’s capital, which many have said is a replica of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa. Some of those in attendance said it was a fantastic party. We are still waiting to receive the party pictures to bring to your viewing delight.

Then on Wednesday, February 15,2012, a day after the Naija Kings of Comedy show being hosted by Basketmouth at the Birdcage in Manchester, yours truly would be having a tour of the Old Trafford, most probably might be having tea with the great Sir Alex Ferguson and Wayne Rooney!, we bring the tour to you in glowing colours.

Then on Thursday, February 23, 2012, MM would be the guests of the Manchester United management again at the VIP stand(South Stand Suites-Warwick suite) part of the covered section of the stadium right in front of where the teams would take their salutes, for the Europa Cup match between Manchester United FC and AFC Ajax. With the VIP tickets we are entitled to arrive at the suite 2 hours 45 minutes before the kickoff. Canapés and drinks would be served shortly after arrival, followed later by a buffet. Refreshments would be served at half-time, followed by drinks and DJ after the final whistle.

The great Don Cornelius passed away yesterday, and the death is been classified as apparent suicide. When the 75 years old dead body was found, he had a single gunshot wound on his head. Born September 27, 1936, died February 1, 2012. He is survived by 2 sons.

Since the announcement of his death, encomiums upon encomiums have poured in from stars and others alike, who are all remembering the man who made the catch-phrase-LOVE, PEACE & SOUL very popular.

NIGERIA & OTHERS TO SHOWCASE AT THE INAUGURAL INTERNATIONAL FASHION SHOWCASE- DURING THE LONDON FASHION WEEK FEBRUARY 2012

The British Council and the British Fashion Council (BFC) announced the inaugural International Fashion Showcase to take place during London Fashion Week, February 2012. 19 embassies and cultural institutes across London will open their doors and display the work of over 80 international emerging designers. The public, together with international press and buyers, will have the opportunity to explore the collections of some of the most innovative, emerging fashion designers from around the world.

The first project the British Council and the British Fashion Council have collaborated on, this new showcase is part of the Fashion 2012 Cultural Programme and has been developed to celebrate the year of the Olympics and Paralympics and honour its values of international respect, excellence, equality and friendship. Countries participating in this showcase include Australia, Belgium, Botswana, Caribbean, China, Croatia, Estonia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Nigeria, Philippines, Poland, Romania, Sierra Leone, United States and Uzbekistan.

Each country has been asked to present a selection of emerging designers whom they feel most represents the future of fashion in their region. Sarah Mower MBE, BFC Ambassador for Emerging Talent and Contributing Editor to US Vogue, will chair an advisory panel that will judge each piece of work, with an award given to the country that presents the best emerging fashion talent showcase. This will be announced on Sunday 19th February, during London Fashion Week.

A map, guide and passport will encourage the public and London Fashion Week audience of UK and international press and buyers to follow the trail of the International Fashion Showcase around the various venues in central London.

Highlights will include:

American design school Parsons will present 10 of its first US graduate students in fashion design at Benjamin Franklin House. Four of the participating designers were finalists of the Alexander McQueen Metropolitan Museum Exhibition competition.

The Flanders Fashion Institute will present a selection of emerging fashion talent from Belgium including: A.Knackfuss, Cedric Jacquemyn, OMSK and WOLF by Sofie Claes at the Exhibition at London Fashion Week. Part of this exhibition will be a special installation created by Ra, the Antwerp based concept store.

The Chinese exhibition unites a diverse community of designers from Mao Jihong, the designer and entrepreneur behind EXCEPTION, to Xander Zhou, listed by Forbes in their Top 25 of most influential people in the fashion industry in China.

Three young designers from Estonia will present an exhibition of work including Kaspar Paas, winner of the Estonian Young Designer Award, who currently designs for John Lobb and who will be launching his own brand of footwear during this event.

Vogue Talents was developed out of the scouting activity undertaken by Vogue Italy and it will present eight talented designers at the Italian Cultural Institute in London embracing Ready-to-wear, menswear, accessories and jewellery.

The Embassy of Japan’s exhibition brings together young milliner Kaji Masahito and emerging designer Kawanishi Ryohei, a recent Central Saint Martins BA graduate, who both create bold works showing great sensitivity, which will be on display in a showroom off the main courtyard at Somerset House.

The Korean Cultural Centre will explore the new generation designers from South Korea, showcasing 8 british educated designers who in a short space of time have developed high profile collaborations with artists such as Lady Gaga as well as international media attention.

A selection of the best emerging African talent from Botswana,NIGERIA and Sierra Leone will be on display at the British Council offices, curated by the V&A's Carol Tulloch.

For participating countries, this programme allows their emerging talent to be seen by key UK and international industry professionals during London Fashion Week. It also means that the wider public can explore the fashion scene in these international cities.

On Sunday 19th February, a jury comprising of top fashion journalists and curators will award the best project with a sculpture designed by former BFC NEWGEN recipient Jordan Askill at the BFC Show Space at Somerset House.

Last weekend, Nigeria’s biggest music reality show Nigerian Idol gave audiences and fans the times of their lives as they presented the wild card show that determines the last set of three finalists to make it into the finals of the show. Joining the judges table last weekend was none other than Nigeria’s first lady of rap Sasha P. The show presented nine contestants handpicked by the judges from the top 30 contestants to take another chance at the Nigerian Idol finals.

“I have never had this much fun in Nigerian Idol, international choreographer and judge Jeffrey Daniel exclaimed excitedly. “The talent is so good; it appears as if I am watching the top nine stages of the show and not the wildcard. Really, Nigeria has an incredible amount of talent and Nigerian Idol appears to have collected the cream of them all!”

The electrifying show kicked off with a performance by Tega who reprised her role as a woman afraid to lose her man as she sang Mary J Blige’s ‘Be without you’. Ebbi Paul Otti who once again showed his vocal dexterity with a brilliant rendition of KC &Jojo’s ‘All my life’ followed her. The charming Byno upped his last performance with an irresistible mix of vocals and drama as he sang Bruno Mars hit ‘The way you are’. After him, G Circuit gave the performance of his life with an outstanding performance of Usher’s ‘There goes my baby’. The Supreme Court this morning finally laid to rest the issue of tenure elongation has concerning 5 of the Governors in Nigeria. In their ruling today, a 7 men panel of Justices led by Justice Walter Samuel Nkanu Nnoghen, ordered the sacking with immediate effect of Senator Liyel Imoke of Cross River, Chief Timipre Slyva of Bayelsa, Admiral Muritala Nyako of Adamawa, Alhaji Aliyu Wammako of Sokoto & Alhaji Ibrahim Idris of Kogi State.

The INEC (Independent National Electoral Commission) had appealed the Tenure elongation case won by the Governors at the Federal High Court sometime ago and upheld by the Appeal Court later. INEC had stated in their appeal at the Supreme Court that the tenures of the 5 Governors ended on May 29, 2011.

By this monumental judgment of the 7 wise men of the Supreme Court it means the 5 former Governors seizes to be the Governors of their States with immediate effect. Also by this judgment it means the Governors cannot appeal. What this must mean then, is that the Speakers of the various Houses of Assemblies in each state would become acting Governors immediately till elections are conducted. There shouldn't be a vacuum in government, by the sacking it also means that the governors have lost their immunity, so if any of them is found wanting they can face the full wrath of the law. We hope!

French Lingerie brand-Etam had a most fabulous Spring/Summer 2012 show at The Paris Fashion Week lastnite that rocked the whole venue. It was a throwback to the good old days of Disco Fever- with the likes of Grace Jones- remember ''Pull up to the bumper'', Gloria Gaynor, Chaka Khan- known for many hits, one of which was''Am Every Woman & Sister Sledge doing what they know how best to do, setting the venue on Disco Fire, while the models rocked the runway wearing the latest Etam Collection.

At 59, Grace Jones still looked glorious, Queen of Funk-Chaka Khan was still has delicious as ever at 58, Gloria Gaynor of the ''I Will Survive'' song fame was still very game at 63years old and the Sledge Sisters- the all siblings group made up of Debbie, Kim, Joni & Kathy Sledge ages ranging from between 53 to 57- if you all can still remember those mega hits of yore ''We are Family'' & He is the greatest Dancer- were all still looking delightfully gorgeous and can still hit the note so so well.

The normally conservative French Lingerie brand seems to have shed that toga for a sexier and more expressive image, meaning all other top brands had better watch out!

Etam already is in Nigeria, having 2 well stocked branches- One at the Palms Mall on the Island and the brand new one is at the new Ikeja Mall, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. And we hear many more branches are in the offing.

Can that really be all that would point to it as the truth. The video was said to have been recorded in October of 2011 and the prophet seemed to have predicted with uncanny accuracy the fuel subsidy protest or was it something else. See for yourselves.

One part of the hit gospel duo-Mary Mary-made up of 2 sisters- Erica Atkins-Campbell 40 & Trecina Atkins Campbell 38, just gave birth to a bouncing baby girl-Zaya Monique Campbell.

Erica & husband Warryn welcomed to the world their 2nd daughter yesterday January 24, 2012. Both already had KristaNicole Campbell-8 and Warryn III- who would be 2 years old on July 19, 2012. Mother and new baby are both in great health.

Congratulations.

If everything works out has planned, then the unofficial Crown Prince of Comedy in Nigeria might be on a retirement plan sometime soon. We must really commend him and his brother Godwin for a job well done on the single-WHERE YOU DEY which featured 2 of the hottest Nigerian music stars right now- Eldee d don & Wizkid. We have always thought Eldee is in a world of his own, incomparable in the game and he confirmed it, with his short hook in this jam, we have nothing at all to say about Wizkid because we believe he is presently the best thing to happen to the Naija music scene. To say the truth this single-Where you Dey to us is already a smash hit, and if that's any pointer to what the whole album is going to sound like, then Bright Okpocha aka Basketmouth might just leave comedy for Music-RAPPING!

Barcelona, 24 January 2012 – MANGO, Spain’s most international fashion brand, presents Kate Moss as the star of its new Spring/Summer 2012 campaign at its flagship London store. The firm has chosen the British model as its campaign image because she is a reference in the fashion world and embodies the type of urban, independent and bold woman MANGO wants to dress.

Kate Moss posed with the brand’s new designs at a house in London,in front of the lens of the renowned photographer Terry Richardson. The famous photographer has managed to immortalise to perfection the beauty of this fashion icon, who was radiant and natural throughout the shoot. The model declared: I’m really excited to be working with MANGO for S/S 2012, we had a great time shooting the campaign, the team are so easy to work with and shooting with Terry is always fun. The styling was done by Géraldine Saglio, while Charlotte Tilbury and Odile Gilbert were responsible for make-up and hair, respectively.

MANGO has produced a new TV commercial with the model for this season, called Spy Game. Shot under the orders of the photographer TerryRichardson in mid-December in London,the film will be seen on TV in early March in approximately forty countries,including France,Germany, Mexico, Portugal,Russia,Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

With this collaboration, KateMoss will take over from her predecessor, Isabeli Fontana, who was the image for the brand during theAutumn/Winter 2011 season. Since it was founded, MANGO has used celebrities to feature in its advertising campaigns. Models and actresses of the stature of Scarlett Johansson, Penélope Cruz, Milla Jovovich, Lizzy Jagger,Karolina Kurkova, Naomi Campbell, Eva Herzigova, Inés Sastre,Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington and Diane Kruger have also been images for the brand at various times.

This season, the brand is opting for a graphic contrast between clean and unstructured lines. In counterposition to this fluidity and cleanliness of lines, we can see a clear 60s influence, particularly in the dresses. Lightweight, pleated and gathered fabrics which offer movement and present a fresh, new and feminine proposal for this season. As a contrast to these pure lines, we are introducing a more casual line in which we are bringing together artisanal elements from various ethnicities and blending them with sportswear details to give them a very simple and urban look. Tie-dye,abstract prints and patchwork in indigo and yellow tones with unwashed effects.

Waoh! 62 years old already! We are sure you are all wondering what we are on about. Many would be thinking what does the initials VW represent, don't you all worry, it has nothing to do with the very famous Volkswagen the world renowned auto company, this initials also represent another world known and highly celebrated brand-Vera Wang and yes she is 62 years young! Known famously for her extra-ordinarily priced-Bridal Gowns.

She had a photo shoot recently for Harper's Bazaar- The world famous American Fashion magazine- also referred to as the fashion resource for women of style. And in one of the pix, the gorgeous designer had on a swim-suit, many half her age cannot boast of her trim body.
