The matriarch of the Ajimobi family, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi is obviously a firebrand and a no nonsense person.

We had always suspected that, especially with her mien when we see her, but we were able to confirm the truth about that part of her that we had always suspected was under the facade, until we saw the way she responded to the state Government's entourage that had come to her Oluyole Estate Ibadan home to pay their condolences, whilst commiserating with the family over the sad passing of their patriarch and former Governor of the State, Senator Abiola Ishaq Akanbi Adeyemi Ajimobi, the boss of the immediate past adminstration, who was just buried today, Sunday, June 29, 2020  at his residence.

The elder statesman was 70 year old December 16, 1949 to June 25, 2020) as at the time of his demise. He succumbed to complications that arose from Covid-19 Coronavirus scourge which led to multiple organ failures.

From what could be gathered from the video that's already gaining so much traction, madam was apparently disappointed that the Oyo state Government led by Engineer Seyi Makinde and ably represented by his deputy Governor at this condolence visit, to commiserate with the family of the bereaved, didn't actually get across to the Ajimobi family personally while the former Governor was sick and at the hospital and then even after he died on June 25, 2020, until they came today on their visit.

The no nonsense Mrs. Florence Ajimobi during the visit, felt it was the right occasion to openly express her gross disappointment and state her mind. Whilst she said what she said, the deputy Governor, Mr Rauf Olaniyan, responded that he had called or tried to call her and that he got no response.

To which the lady of the house exclaimed that she didn't see nor got any call whatsoever and that she couldn't have picked a call from someone she didn't know, that she being the wife of a politician, she wouldn't just pick up just about any calls. And went on to say that his Excellency should have sent a message if they truly cared. That her husband served the state for 8 years of his life.

The body of the late former Governor of Oyo State, his Excellency Senator Abiola Ishaq Ajimobi was finally laid to rest this morning, of Sunday, June 28, 2020 at his 6th Avenue, Yemoja Street, Oluyole Estate residence in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Contrary to the speculations that he would be buried at the Senator Ishaq Abiola Ajimobi Mosque at Oke Ado in Ibadan, the family after getting the proper go ahead from the Oyo State Government, which had refused that he be buried at another of his landed property in Agodi, Ibadan which is under litigation in a case that was actually instituted by the late former Governor and Deputy National Chairman of the APC himself. Instead prayers were held for him at the mosque after his interment instead.

With the approval from the Government given, the family decided to bury him at home and interment was done according to Islamic rites in a brief ceremony that started at 10.05am, as the late elder statesman was a practising Moslem, whilst his adorable wife, Chief Mrs. Florence Ajimobi is a devoted Christian. Everything was done with the heavy presence of security agents around.

Senator Ajimobi who died due to complications arising from Covid-19 Coronavirus pandemic which later led to multiple organ failures is survived by his wife, Chief Mrs Florence Ajimobi and their 5 children- Abisola Kolapo-Daisi, Abimbola, Abolaji Idris, Ajibola, Ajijolaoluwa and various other family members.

He died age 70 having being born on 1949, December 16 of the year to be more specific. He was the 27th ruler of Oyo State and so far, the only one to have ever done 2 terms.

Peter Okoye, one half of the now defunct soar away music group (P-Square) who reigned supreme for so many years dazzling us with their talents, also known as Mr. P had tested positive for COVID 19.

The award winning Nigerian musician confirmed this much via his verified Twitter page on Saturday, June 27, 2020.

In a series of videos he posted, Peter Okoye went on to reveal that his delectable wife, Lola Omotayo-Okoye, and their adorable daughter, Aliona also tested positive for the Coronavirus.

Then he added also that two of his domestic staff also contracted the virus too!

According to him, he was first to have been diagnosed with the virus three weeks ago while his daughter, Aliona then caught the virus a week later. Then his wife, Lola, in an attempt to care for their daughter, caught the virus too.

Peter, at the end  of it all in his video later confirmed that they had all recovered from the scourge and have all tested negative after all.

On a final note, he urged all his fans to stay safe and adhere to COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic guidelines.

GOVERNOR GANDUJE OF KANO, HIS WIFE & FAMILY MEMBERS VISITS THE AJIMOBIS TO PAY THEIR CONDOLENCES

The Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, his wife Professor Hafsat Umar Ganduje and their children, on Saturday June 27, 2020 paid a condolence visit to the family of their In-law, the late Senator Abiola Ishaq Ajimobi, the former Governor of Oyo State who had died very recently in Lagos at a well known hospital from complications arising from the Covid-19 Coronavirus Scourge which later led to multiple organ failure, which was what in the final analysis killed the 70 year old, 2 time (terms) former Governor of Oyo State.

His widow, Mrs Florence Ajimobi and his only son Idris Ajimobi who is married to one of the Ganduje's daughters by name Fatima Ganduje-Ajimobi, received Governor Ganduje and his entourage at their Oluyole residence in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The former Governor, who was the immediate past Governor of Oyo State, who broke the 39 year old one term jinx that had bedeviled all before him, is slated to be buried today Sunday, June 28, 2020.

Controversies had arisen as per where he would be buried which had led to a delay till today. While the family of the staunch Moslem had favoured him being buried on a part of one of his land in Agodi, Ibadan which is a subject of an on going litigation as was instituted by the late former Governor himself and therefore approval for that burial site was rejected by the state Government led by Engineer Seyi Makinde due to that.

But the state Government apparently bent over backwards to approve that he could be buried at his residence in Oluyole, Ibadan, if the family so wants. Though Agodi and Oluyole are both actually no go areas as per burial sites in the first instance according to the laws of the state.

So all things being equal, the late Senator Abiola Isiaka Ajimobi who may have predicted his own death at age 70, when he once said-

"I normally tell God that if I clock 70 years of age, that would be enough. My father died two months to his 70th birthday, so I used to say even if I make it to 70, that would be okay. Now that I am 70 and enjoying life, I tell God, ‘Seventy is small’…”

would most likely be buried at a site by a Mosque named after him in Ibadan, which may have been the final consensus area approved for his burial after all.

The family of top Nigerian Igbo businessman,one of the most detribalised Nigerian who is acknowledged as one of the biggest owners of any brand in the automobile business in the country, in the person of the late Uncle Willie Anumudu, the late 68 year old husband of one of Nigeria's most glamorous and stupendously stylish ladies, in the person of Nkiru Anumudu, laid their patriarch, father, uncle, son, husband, friend and more to rest finally yesterday, Thursday, June 25, 2020  at his family compound, in his home town Obilubi, in Mbaitoli LGA of Imo State in the South Eastern part of Nigeria.

His body left Lagos yesterday via a chartered flight to arrive at the Imo airport from where he was moved to his house in the village for a lying-in-state and then a commendation service at the Christ Church, Obilubi, Anglican Church in the village. And then he was interred thereafter.

Sir William Anumudu, but better known as Uncle Willie Anumudu as he was fondly addressed by most had died April 21, 2020 after some health challenges. His doting wife, Nkiru wasn't in the country when her husband suddenly passed as she was caught in the Covid-19 CORONAVIRUS pandemic lockdown while in London on a short visit.

The jolly good fellow as he is acknowledged by all and sundry was a friend to all, who could be relied on by his many friends at anytime. The very well loved man, was a pillar of the Aka Ikenga and a titled Chief at that. Until he passed on suddenly in the early hours of that morning of April 21st, he was the Chairman of the very popular Globe Motors and a philanthropist.

Had he survived his illness he would have been 69 come his next birthday in November of 2020 as he was born that month in 1951. He is survived by his adorable wife, 4 kids, 3 boys and a gal, being the very well known Zina and other family members.

ABOUT Dh1.6 BILLION IN TOTAL APPROXIMATELY $435M DOLLARS WERE SCAMMED FROM VICTIMS!

It is only a miracle of the highest kind and maybe the direct personal intervention of God Himself, that can remove/extricate flyboy extraordinaire and probably the most flamboyant, most glamorous, most in your face Nigerian International fraudster unparalled Raymond (Ramon Olorunwa Igbalode') Abbas aka Hushpuppi, aka Aja IV from the conundrum he has found or put himself.

For so long, while the mad unbridled fun lasted, he by himself like a drunken sailor far gone in his drunkenness, all by himself dug a pit daily for himself and now he and his cohorts have found themselves at the very bottom of the self dug pit.

So the Dubai Police have come out to release some more unbelievable details of Hushpuppi and cohorts alleged fraud/crime network.

13 of them in all, were all that were arrested on that night in an unbelievable raid they had tagged ["Operation Fox Hunt 2" named after another successful raid they had done earlier in the year]. Seized from those arrested which included Hushpuppi, WoodPerry and others in cash was a staggering [Dh 150million] which is approximately [$40.9million Dollars]. Also seized in that raid were [13 luxury cars of different brands] paid for by the victims of the scams to the tune of [Dh25million] which translates to approximately [$6.8million Dollars].

The raid was carried out by [6 police teams] and one of those caught alongside Hushpuppi is his lynchpin, Olalekan Jacob Ponle better known by his moniker Woodperry. Other items confisticated in the raid were [21 computers], [47 smartphones], [15 flash drives], [5 hard drives], [119,580 files] and more than [800,000 email addresses] of likely victims of frauds & they had already scammed a whopping 1.9m plus victims already! A staggering [Dh 1.6 billion which is approximately $435m plus Dollars] is the overall value of stolen funds from victims of various scams by just this gang alone!

According to the Police in Dubai, "The Nigerian is accused of creating websites that look identical to those of well-known companies and banks.

People were sent emails and messages that prompted them to log in or make payments on the fake sites.

Mr Abbas is accused of being part of a gang that hacked corporate emails and directed huge payments to accounts they controlled.

Mr Abbas posed as a successful businessman “celebrating his wealth via social media platforms, in an attempt to lure victims from all over the world”.

“The suspects targeted victims overseas by creating fake websites for well-known companies and banks in a bid to steal victims’ credit card information and then launder the stolen money,”

At the end of it all, all what this points to is just that all that glitters ain't gold. Never ever use another man's clock or timing to judge yourself.

At the end of the still on going Investigations Hushpuppi and cohorts still have cases of fraud to face in Europe, the US and even in Nigeria.   

SENATOR ABIOLA ISIAKA AJIMOBI IS NOW DEAD!

Such a sad news coming from the Ajimobi household as their patriarch the former 2 time Governor of Oyo State, who broke the record by winning a 2nd term for the first time in the history of the state is now dead!  The reason for the pronouncement of now dead is because, Senator Abiola Ajimobi had survived the supposed first news of his alleged death and was said to have recovered from coma.

The announcement of that death then, had elicited major concern as most people couldn't ascertain for sure if he had passed on, so his family members and aides had come out to vehemently refute his supposed death then.

But just like he was said to be recovering and getting better and would soon be out, same way like it was said about the former Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, CON then, before he suddenly relapsed and passed on, Senator Abiola Ajimobi apparently relapsed too and it was downhill thereafter. He was said to have actually given up the ghost finally today, Thursday, June 25, 2020, even after the doctors did all their best but to no avail. He was connected to a life support machine after he had gone back into coma from which he never recovered.

The 70-year-old former Governor, who had been on a life support machine since last Friday at the same First Cardiology Hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos, after slipping into a coma following Coronavirus complications, finally died.

On Monday, a reliable source close to the ex-governor had said that Ajimobi had been on life support machine after he slipped into a deep coma and may not recover going by the observations of medical experts around him.

The source further disclosed that the former Oyo governor had had a lung surgery since being rushed to the Lagos hospital, but made no progress while his kidneys had also failed.

Doctors treating him, it was reliably gathered, had since last Friday informed his family that his situation had defied every medical intervention and that only a miracle could bring him back to life, just like famous seer, Primate Elijah Ayodele of the Inri Evangelical Ministry had said that his situation was dire and that he needed plenty of prayers and spiritual support and intervention for him to survive.

According to some high-falutin conspiracy theorists, Senator Ajimobi is apparently said to have even passed on before today, but that his death was delibrately kept hush-hush because of the supposed political intrigues bedeviling his political party currently. It is been adduced that those who delibrately kept his passage silent had done so, so they could find a solution to the impasse about who should be the party chairman of the APC that wasn't favouring them. Such a theory we find so hard to believe and therefore we think it is terribly absurd.

In fact one of the ladies, their eldest daughter-Ezinne is married and with kids too. Her traditional wedding a few years back in Igbere was one of the biggest, most glamorous and most intimidating ever held in that town.  Mrs. Ngozi Ekeoma is a doting grand-mother many times over. Their eldest son Alex Ekeoma, is the CEO of GEO Travels & Tours.

Nepal Oil and Gas which is the major cash cow of the family, was established in 2004 and they are into the importation, warehousing and distribution of petroleum products likes of AGO, DPK, PMS, ATK, LPFO, Lubricants and others. They own a massive tank farm in Ogbara, Delta State with a capacity of 60000 metric tons. Nepal has also extended it's tentacles into the aviation business too with Nepal Aviation Fly Limited. Such a sad sad news coming from B-Natural Spa and it's not a palatable one at all. Yes we understand that death of any kind is not palatable, but again when it involves the passing of someone that's an acclaimed, fantastic soul, a well loved personage at that, in fact a super calm, very professional person, a guru of a kind at what they do, then it makes the passage the more painful and in fact far more unbearable. What a sad loss!

So the founder and head honcho of B-Natural Spa franchise has passed on after a long standing battle with cancer. She's said to have given up the ghost quite recently and no official statement as at yet has come out from the well known, well renowned luxury brand that she made quite popular. She passed on Sunday June 21, 2020 which was Father's Day. She was 55 and would have been 56 years in November. 

In Lagos she's known and acknowledged as the numero uno, the queen in the luxury spa. She's probably the best equipped of all the lot, with the best hands working for her brand too. She was one of those who made the luxury spa business quite known and could have been one of those who started/pioneered the type in the country.  From the first one in GRA, Ikeja which is about 13 years old, to another in Victoria Island that she later opened and launched with fanfare thereafter and a 3rd one in Lekki, Lagos and the 4th one in Abuja, the FCT. All totally upscale and defining luxury to the exact word. She didn't spare expenses to set them up and was always on the lookout for the latest technology and innovations.

Her clientele list reads the who-is-who of the society in need of one beauty help or intervention or the other.

Like we had tried to state above already. Mrs. Pamela Ndidi Olatunji, is probably one of the kindest, most accommodating souls you could have ever encountered, who is also quietly generous to a fault. A great woman by all standards/yardstick, who makes all that she meets feel very important. Her staff members, both Nigerians and expatriates see her as their mom or big aunty and the mutual respect is totally outstanding. We have personally felt it, so we know.

From the little we can still remember about her, she loved her family members to a fault. And truly, she was super well loved in return. The unconfirmed report of what led to her death says, she actually succumbed to [metastatic brain tumor], a tumor that occurs when cancer cells spread from the original site to the brain.

Mrs Pamela Ndidi Olatunji is a graduate of 'aesthetic dermatology' from the College of Medical Aesthetics, Long Beach, California and also an alumni of the National Laser Institute in Houston.
She founded B natural – THE SPA GROUP 12 years ago and it has doctors, nurses and beauty therapist all learning and working in a fantastic ambience.

She would be sorely missed by all. May her outstanding soul find rest and may God grant the family of the deceased, the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

But it's not just about her fashion sense or style quotient that's the absolute magnet, she combines razor sharpened brain with easy going panache that's somewhat languid yet so practised, like it's just so normal for her. 

She's gradually helping to position Nigeria on the world's entertainment map with the kind of strategic deals/alliances she's signing. Very very recently it was with the global Netflix brand, which is commendable to say the least, but before then, it was with the very global Sony brand and not forgetting that the AMC Networks (USA), came on board just before the Netflix deal in January of 2020. Soon again it would be another world acclaimed entertainment brand after another coming on board to showcase our exceptional talents, culture and more to the world at large. 

She's just adding more beautiful feathers to her illustrious cap, like it's nothing. She's an undoubted peacock but one that's not unnecessarily showing off her dazzling plumage as a sign of show off. 

Soon when all the fruits of these alliances would begin to unfold, Nigeria and Africa's entertainment scene would be the better for it.

The somewhat 'Naomi Campbell' look alike sister, is really gradually taking over the world and from Nigeria at that and we salute her for her unflinching drive/focus, her elegance/gorgeousness, her smartness/intellectual ability and her agelessness.. ...but also her courage!
