50 NIGERIA'S MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMEN-THE SHORTLIST

This surely is one very controversial subject, many would ask the question that what gave one the audacity to say Nigeria has just 50 beautiful women, truly we are agree that they are in millions, several shapes and sizes abound from all the nooks and crannies of the country and even outside, but sometimes we need to have parameters that would guide one to come to a particular conclusion, this particular list by MAESTROMEDIA does not say that the people rated are the only beauties in the land, what we have tried to do is to say that amongst the very visible ones, those that we see daily and are in our face this particular one stands out, the face is waoh!!!!!, the structure is heavenly!!!!!, the carriage is out of this world, they are in a way stylish although not necessarily so, but just like FORBES MAGAZINE would say 'THE WORLD'S RICHEST LIST' and they have their parameters for their choice, and people tend to accept the list, this is MM's way of getting people involved in something fun, to arrive at most of the names chosen, the question 'who do you think are your 50 most beautiful Nigerian women' was sent out on 'BLACKBERRY MESSENGER' with not less than 200 responses sending in their nominees, it was also posted on TWITTER and on FACEBOOK, to make it a lot more interactive, MM has gone through the stress and trouble to put together a shortlist and pictures of some of those chosen and here is an opportunity to either agree or disagree constructively on the choices on the list. The names are not listed in any particular order- 1. Going through the list personally some were on target, others were out rightly hilarious and some might be a straight NO!!!!. We particularly agree that beauty is subjective and each person defines it as they deem fit. These are only a few of the pictures, as soon as we get more they shall be posted.

  8. I have carefully looked through your selected list of women being considered beautiful here as well other readers comments and reactions to the side write up which safely brings me to the personal conclusion that in as much as I strongly believe you have chosen a few rightly (of cos without being biased)I still think that a bulk of the other women on this list should not have by chance made it, even to top 200! For so many reasons I won't be naming names but for the fact that some of them I have met personally and judging from this, lack in so many areas such as delivery of English, style, mannerism(s), grace, character and many more. I will say women like, Joke Silver, Tara Fela-Durotoye, Onyeka Onwenu, Omawunmi Megbele, Kemi Adetiba, Dakore Egbuson, Chioma Chukwuka, Ego Boyo, Nike Oshinowo, Funke Akindele, Funlola Aofiyebi and so many others should suffice.

  9. *Smiling* based on your responses to my comment and as regards stating my parameters for my previous comment I like to say that to state my parameters would mean giving a constant or a variable form of function common to and to determining certain functions to the women above. This for me is beauty and I agree with you when you say beauty is the first most physical consideration so if that be the case I still maintain that half the women up here also lack that really, which brings me to saying this on the face beauty we are talking about is very clear-cut and visible on a few of them. So since this common factor is not constant, I decided to use other determinants as from my previous comments where for some of the women the visible beauty and totality of their persona works hand in hand. Then again as this was a poll, I guess not much can be said afterall....

  10. like i have said b4 and would still say each person wld have there own particular definition and choice of who is beautiful, what we have tried to do here is get peoples opinion and if possible get the pictures of those dey have nominated for all to see and then we all together can come to a conclusion on who are the 50 authentic beauties, so if u all have those who shld be in the list and are not, pls send names and pixs if possible.

  13. hmm... where are the curvy/ plus sized women o? You know, pictures of women in our traitional attires who look stunning? Ngozi Ezeonu is a beautiful Nigerian woman, Ronke Ayuba, Mrs. Adenuga, Daisy Danjuma... The list is endless. There are women who have there natural mane, full Nigerian curves and natural skin tone and still look stunning;I don't see any here. Haba! learn to streamline the demographics jare. This is your own view though, I shall not fault your eyes. It is just as the saying goes, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. shikena!

  14. I'm amazed, I must say. Seldom do I come across a blog that's equally educative and amusing, and let me tell you, you've hit the nail on the head. The problem is something that too few men and women are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I came across this in my search for something concerning this.
