The 2nd day of what should be one of the biggest showcase and gathering of the best in fashion for a while, and many of the designers were in their elements, showcasing some of the most fantastic stuffs one could have seen on the catwalk of the best shows in NY,LONDON,MILAN or PARIS, truly in somethings: Africa has really come of age.
Bunmi Koko- Themed Geisha Reforms, Bunmi showed a collective of hot colours, bold prints, cut-outs, layered shoulders, feathers and paid homage to her Efik heritage with models in feathered head pieces and the dancing masquerade.
Ere Dappa- Ere showed her creativity and dexterity using intricate beading, geometric patterns and colours to bring to life the theme of her collection tagged
“Colours of Africa Wildlife”.
The fit, cut, finishing of each piece transformed our everyday Ankara into haute couture pieces.
