After a long sojourn abroad, that saw Murphy Okojie running a joint in good ole London-Murphis Karaoke Bar on Clerkenwell road, Farringdon, London for a while, the very hardworking business man, has returned to town, albeit quietly and has totally turned around the former Murphis Plaza on the same road, as we speak, finishing touches are been done, as the plaza has been completely refurbished, also the stores have been completely taken by would be shop owners, so in the next few weeks, barring any unforeseen circumstances ,the plaza would be declared opened.

COUNTDOWN TO THE RE-OPENING OF MURPHIS PLAZA
Before the advent of such galleries like the Silverbird or malls like the Palms, there had existed such smaller ones like Lafayette Mall, Murphis Plaza - both on Sanusi Fafunwa street, Victoria Island & Elpina Plaza on Adeyemo Alakija Street, but since the opening of the mega ones, it took a lot of the bite out of the smaller ones, but what the mega malls had in size, they also lost because of the size- the coziness one would get from the smaller malls.
