YORUBA COMIC BABA SUWE ARRESTED FOR DRUGS

It’s not the best of times for ace Nollywood comedian Babatunde Omidina better known as Baba Suwe. The very popular Yoruba comic known for his garrulous and very funny roles was lastnite arrested at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos on his way to boarding a flight to Paris, France. 

                                                                                          
                                               
He had been engaged as the master of ceremony at a naming ceremony in the very romantic town, but on passing through the body scanner at the Lagos airport, substances suspected to be hard drugs were found concealed in his stomach, he was immediately arrested by officials of the NDLEA-National Drug Law Enforcement Agency and he is said to be giving them useful information.

 The comic had not too long ago lost his wife to the cold hands of death, and had gone quiet for a while, only for this very sad news about his arrest, he wouldn’t be the 1^st to be arrested or convicted for drug offences in Nollywood.
