It was been packaged by a company owned by the husband and wife duo of Fred and Dunni Igbinedion, very much had been planned for what was supposed to turn Lagos to a major destination point in the mold of International Taste Festivals the world over.

According to the organizers- ''Taste of Lagos will showcase the latest, greatest and celebrated in gastronomy, culture and lifestyle to a discerning crowd’’.

The organizers had gathered the media and several stake holders together at the Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel on Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island to intimate them on their plans, several months ago, and up till now, nothing about the highly anticipated event has been heard about again.

It was supposed to have been a 4 days event (December 15 till 18, 2011), with over 80 exhibitors- 20 top restaurants in Lagos, 30 Lifestyle, Fashion and Luxury exhibitors, 10 independent Arts & Culture exhibitors, 20 Food & Drink related exhibitors and Live Music & Entertainment performances, but the dates has passed now and we haven't heard anything about why it was either cancelled or postponed. So we are asking the organizers, what’s going on?
