FG LAUNCHES KEKE......, OH SO SORRY GOODLUCK JONATHAN BUSES

GOODLUCK JONATHAN INTERVENTION BUS
Just like our dear President promised, that today January 9, 2012 would be the launch date for the 1,600 Mass Transit intervention buses. He seems to be toeing the part of honor, as close to those numbers of buses were launched today- We heard about 1,100 was actually on ground. Though we heard he was in faraway Bloemfontein, South Africa when the buses were launched.

The promise made was that 1,600 buses would be distributed to all the states in Nigeria. By our calculation, it must mean that at least each state would have not less than 44 of those buses, if the FCT, Abuja is included in the calculation then each state of the Federation including Abuja would get about 43 buses each.

If the distribution is going to be by Local Government Areas, then each Local Government Area is expected to have 2 buses each. By this calculation one only hopes that the intervention would have the desired effect.

Already some Nigerians are accusing the FG of buying 2nd hand buses from Brazil. Would that be a fact? Or Nigerians are just too hard to please.
