LANRE DA SILVA, LAKIN OGUNBANWO & KEM KEM STUDIOS APPEARS IN VOGUE ITALIA

LANRE DA SILVA AJAYI

It’s the dawn of a glorious time, as our great talents are being recognized world over. We got a link from a friend some days ago. That shows 3 of our Nigerian born talents being showcased in VOGUE ITALIA magazine- the very lucky ones were- the awesomely gifted Lanre Da Silva-Ajayi of the LDA brand, ace-photographer-Lakin Ogunbanwo who prior to coming back home, had studied Photography in what many have come to consider the home of style & sophistication-Paris, France and the awesomely creative Kemi Solomon of the now famous KEM KEM Studios. Kemi is now a veteran sort of, in the growing world of fashion in Nigeria, she’s known for her extraordinarily beautiful Aso-Oke material that is specially made by her. Would one expect less from an alumnus of such prestigious institutions as London School of Fashion & Massachusetts College of Arts?

Remember also, that one of the greatest fashion designers in the world-Roberto Cavalli and the Editor of Vogue Italia- Franca Sozzani were both in this country a few weeks ago, after first stopping over in Accra, Ghana. The 2 August visitors interacted with many in the fashion industry in the country and from what we heard, they had fantastic things to say.

You all can check out the link for yourselves-
