BANKE BALOGUN & IFEOMA WILLIAMS
LIL' MISS ASIKA DOING THE RED CARPET
We bring to you the 4th installment in our Out and about series, all the happenings/happenstances at the weeklong event. It's a showcase of the fashionistas, the aspiring fashionistas, the backstage groove, the show-offs on the red carpet, some pictures of those at the front-row of the main fashion showcase etc.

On this day, we saw the likes of the first lady of Lagos State- Dame Abimbola Fashola, ex-Miss World Agbani Darego, Esosa Anenih, top Abuja based designer-Ogwa Iweze, Africa's pride and gorgeous actress- Genevieve Nnaji, Wonu Odunsi & her ‘besto’ Isoken Ogiemwonye, Jumai Shaba, top management executive at ZenithBank- Bukky Latunji, another Africa's pride Alek Wek, Ifeoma Williams & her 'besto' Banke Balogun, the ever stylish Dr. Vivian Oputa who rocked a beautiful Ituen Basi's ensemble, we also saw Dr. Sid of the Mo' Hits, but the best of the best for the day was our picture of little Miss Asika, the gorgeous model to be, did the red-carpet like a pro, to our delight.

Like we always love to do, we try to keep you titillated, this is the 2nd to the last of the Out & About series, and thereafter we would upload, some of the designers showcase that we were impressed with. We have decided to follow, the sayings of the sages- ''that many are called, but few were chosen'' so our choice of designers to showcase, is purely our choice, no more no less.

It was on this 4th day that 3 out of the award winners showcased- Maki Oh- Designer of the Year, an award she shared with KLuk CGDT, Odion Mimonet- Innovative Designer of the Year, which she shared with David David and Tsemaye Binitie- Womenswear Designer of the Year, other designers that showcased were- Adama Paris, Amine, Clan, Ejiro Amos Tafiri, Iconic Invanity, Jacob Kimmie, Karolyne Ashley, Kinabuti, Laurence Airline, PPQ, Prajje 1983, Tiffany Amber & Zooni.

  1. Is Ifeoma Williams getting lighter?
Banke Balogun is trying hard not to add weight.

Jumai Shaba, omo mama Allen Avenue.

    Miss Asika is growing fast.
    Yets Asika looks cool.

Madam Folorunsho Alakija needs to begin to dress 60+, she should take a clue from Hajia Abba Folawiyo.

Eno Olafisoye's cleavage reminds me of wrapper tying women in Warri.

Genevieve's feet are quite dry, for the age and money. She needs to moisturise it more.
    The nude shoes are cool.

Dr Abiola and her daughter are still close as ever. That's cool.

Everyday, the number of dark skinned women in Lagos is reducing.

  2. Ifeoma has lost her glow. She's not as pretty as she was before. Banke is slim up but has hips so i don't understand the trying not to add weight by force. It's in her genes. Her Mum is a stunner.

I like Mrs. Alakija here, she looks good. Abbah is at least 10 years older so you can't compare.

Eno's not here. It's Teni Olafisoye.

Genny almost did a Rihanna with the flat chest. She needs serious baby oil on her feet as they look like lizard's skin. Still a pretty damsel.

Esosa Anenih; too fine and too well dressed.

I like how your Madam and sponsor is scarce these days. Aloba you know who i mean right? Let her make her fine face scarce jare and face her marriage.

Thanks for the nice pics Aloba.

  3. Forgot to add that Agbani's face will always be a stunner. Love those cheekbones.

Is Dr Vivian still a runner? Hmmm

  4. I saw Banke when she was nursing her twins. As a mother myself, it's obvious she worked at getting slim cos she was mamaish then. She's a stunner, yet husband still looks at other stunnerstunners who aren't that slim!

Mrs Alakija should begin to dress like a 60yr old. Hajia is a role model for 60+ women! I didn't compare them!

  5. Genny your feet reminds of my late grandma. Do something!!!

  6. Abbah is 70+. You saying she should dress like her is a comparison. Why did you now turn your mouth?
Banke is naturally slim. I've known her from growing up. A nursing mum is just that, she's nursing her kids and the weight dropped once she stopped breast feeding. Even Halle Berry gets cheated on so leave men alone they are dogs!

  8. Banke is naturally slim? Cos she was slim while growing up. She's also watching her weight! Her mother isn't slim by any standard. No long story...

  9. Her Mum's weight is middle age spread and even at that she's not the opposite of slim!
Let the fine model mama hide and even make more babies. The less we see of her the fresher her fine face will be. LOL.
