BBA5 WINNER-UTI NWACHUKWU & THE 67 WIDOWS

What a way to celebrate ones 30th birthday. It always fantastic to remember those who live amongst us who need our love and care, those amongst us who for one reason or the other have lost their loved ones. If for that reason alone, then young celebrity, Uti Nwachukwu who won Big Brother Africa 5 must be commended for his very kind gesture and we hope many others like him would follow in the same direction. August 3, 2012 a few days ago was his birthday and apart from having fun with friends and family members alone, he invited 67 widows to share in his joy.

Why 67? It's because birthday boy's mom is 67 years old. Hear why so much noise about the whole good deed- ‘’There is need to recognize widows like these and give them all the support they need at all times. This is why I have allowed the press in, not just to announce it, but so that people who are bigger, richer and more influential than I am will hopefully emulate this on a much bigger scale because some people have things to give but don’t know how to. I wish to thank Martini, Ify Okeke, Joy Sillo, president of his fan club (UFC) Oby Emeka, Pat Awele and Tonto Dike.

There was later gift galore from Uti to the delight-some 67.  We at MM wish the birthday boy many more glorious years ahead. Happy 30th boyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!

    THE STORY OF ‘YEFON’ ….

Written by 22 year-old African actress and filmmaker Sahndra Fon Dufe, ‘Yefon’ is the story of a young woman who defies her village’s customs to learn how to read and become educated only to face a death sentence as a result.

Inspired by women around the world who have faced similar circumstances, Ms. Fon Dufe and her production team have pledged to use a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the film, companion documentary, books and related merchandise to build an all-girls’ school in Nso, the village in Cameroon where Yefon’s story takes place.

Uti will be playing the dark Prince in this film.

Please feel free to message me for more access to the story.
