THE THESPIAN MUSE PRESENTS SMALL TALK WITH BROWNIE

OMOYE UZAMERE
Thespian Muse is pleased to present the first edition of Small Talk with Brownie, a series of conversations for social adjustment, in Lagos on the 26th of October at Bogobiri House, Maitama Sule Street, Ikoyi at 6pm!!!

The present generation of Nigerians has been described as "talking too much". However, without speech, one cannot plan or strategize; without talking, we cannot inspire soldiers to action, the broken cannot be encouraged to stay strong or the wounded towards their healing. So we talk. Small Talk. We will discuss social issues affecting PEOPLE. You and I who make up the nation, keeping in focus our goal; making our words tools for change.

Thespian Muse invites the public to form part of our audience/contributors; creative, intellectual or otherwise, people unashamed to speak; people who wish to share their opinion and insight on various topics without fear of being judged. We believe that the right combination of voices will encourage an attitude of action in our generation.

The first edition falls in the month of Nigeria's independence and as such will centre on a subject probably the most debated for over 50 years; Independence. However, to ensure that the conversation impacts on each individual as we strive towards nation building, we dare to ask, "What Defines Independence In An Individual?" and in the wake of the recent spate of killings in the country, our second topic "Jungle Justice; The Tale of a Rural Ruling"

There will be a music interlude featuring some of  Nigeria's finest talents; Lolo Eremie, Nigerian Idol finalist, Diwari and Project Fame finalist, Marvellous Odiete as well as special appearances by several creative industry favourites. We believe our guests will experience a thought provoking and entertaining evening.

Small Talk will be an intimate gathering, holding on the last Friday of every month at Bogobiri House, Maitama Sule Str, off Raymond Njoku Street, off Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.

We are very excited about this new beginning and look forward to receiving everyone.

The Jazz Session from the Veteran Band and red carpet will commence at 5pm.
