EX-GOVERNOR ABUBAKAR AUDU ESCAPES ARREST

Are we so surprised that it was one of those at the EFCC that aided the Ex-Governor of Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu to escape being arrested? Definitely not at all. In a country, where a large sum said to be around 2.1 Billion Naira in One thousand Naira denominations could suddenly develop wings and disappear into thin air FROM THE MINT OOOO, anything can and would continually happen.

According to report, the Prince of Kogi scampered away from his house at 32, Suleiman Barau Street, Aso Villa, Asokoro after a top ranking official of those to make the arrest tipped him off. It's has been a hide and seek game between the former Governor and the EFCC for quite a while now before this current fiasco. It just shows that even the so called organization that is supposed to help weed out corruption itself is not clean at all. Prince Audu, had been charged to court by the EFCC for corruptly enriching himself to the tune of 4 Billion Naira, from the Kogi State coffers while he was the State's Chief Executive.

That the Ex-Governor is super rich is like stating the very obvious, his property portfolio according to those in the know is said to be quite intimidating. No one can say for a fact, if he has escaped out of the country or if he is still holed up in an hideout here in Nigeria.

We are just of the opinion that the innocent needs fear no arrest. Chikena!
PRINCE ABUBAKAR AUDU
