 Date was Friday, March 1, 2013. Venue was the Ozone Cinemas, Yaba, Lagos. The event was the premiere of top thespian and now movie producer, Uche Jombo-Rodriguez's movie. The film in question is the 2nd movie in the 'Damage' trilogy, ONE MORE UPCOMING TO END IT ALL. The first movie featured Kalu Ikeagwu and Uche Jombo, while the 2nd one which was premiered last Friday, titled My life, My Damage has, as the main act the incredibly talented Tonto Dikeh, no matter what anyone says, she acted the role perfectly well. 

Why Yaba was chosen as the venue of the premiere we don't really know, but many of Uche's friends and colleagues came out enmasse to celebrate with her. Some of those we saw were Rita Dominic, who wore a brown outfit looking as gorgeous as always, Tonto Dikeh, who wore a very beautiful white outfit looking virginal, Stephanie Linus also wore a white dress, marriage seem to suit her fine, Sexy Steel was in the house, ex-MBGN 2007, Munachi Abii wore a summery flowery outfit, Oge Okoye was the sex bomb of the evening in her black sheer outfit, the lady of the day Uche Jombo-Rodriguez who came in with her husband Kenney Rodriguez in tow, was the epitome of wholesome gorgeousness in her black shimmering full length outfit, we totally loved the outfit. The very handsome Kenney was the cynosure of all eyes, as many were meeting or seeing him for the first time. It was obvious in his eyes that he was very proud of his wife and is madly in love with her.

Some of the others that we saw were the likes of Desmond Elliot, who we think has gotten a very good stylist now, gone are those days..... it seems, as he his always looking very dapper nowadays unlike before, also in attendance at the premiere were the CEO of Make Me Hair Studios, Ugochukwu Igbokwe, Mr 'GQ' the one and only Chidi Mokeme also marked his attendance, the AGN president Ibinabo Fiberesima showed support, so also the likes of Julie Odia, publisher of Wow! Magazine, top comedian Klint Da' Drunk, Chioma Chukwuka, Yolanda Okereke, Ufuoma Ejeneobor-McDermott, Emem Isong , Yvonne 'Vixen' Ekwerre and many others. 

A brief synopsis of the new movie that is now playing at cinemas all over Nigeria. Sees a well brought up young lady, who got invited to America to continue her studies to become a Medical Doctor. She's always had a notion about America being the land where everything thing seems to work, her first shock on getting abroad is that she's sees a lot of her fellow people doing menial jobs and doing all to survive. Still having the determination that she was going to excel, she got a job in a home to take care of the invalid, so as to earn money while going to school. She met a friend of the one that invited her to the US, who was the ultimate party girl and they went out to a party together and from that time on, began her spiral into the murky and dark waters of fun, drugs and unprotected sex.  Her boyfriend who is a drug user par excellence got her into his world, so far gone was she that when her beloved mother in Nigeria fell sick and she was sent messages and even tickets to come home to see her she didn't.  Everything soon fell apart and she had to return home, rejected and now leaving with HIV. She had lost everything that was dear to her. It was an emotional movie, that should be a candidate for many awards. 

Story was written by Uche Jombo-Rodriguez, who also produced it. Most of the scenes were shot on locations in America. Truth be told, it is a must watch for all. Kudos to Uche and Tonto, for jobs well done.
