SALLY MBANEFO- EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR |
OTUNBA SEGUN RUNSEWE- EX DG |
It's not the best of times currently at the NTDC(Nigeria Tourism Development Corporation) as the parastatal's erstwhile Director General, Otunba Olusegun Runsewe, the very action packed and ebullient boss has been sacked and in his place another director has been appointed and has resumed immediately.
According to our findings, the removal of the man who has helped in no small ways to bring positive attention the way of Nigeria through his unrelenting works might be due to politics. The man many have come to refer to as ' Mr Tourism' we hear has not had it easy since the arrival of the Minister for Culture,Tourism & National Orientation, in the person of Chief Edem Duke, so bad was their falling out at a point about 2 years ago that the NTDC DG was temporarily removed, it took the intervention of some highly placed individuals to cause both sides to sheath their swords and Otunba Runsewe was returned to his post.
Now after nearly 2 years of that incidence, the now former DG has been removed finally and a friend of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim in the person of Sally Mbanefo has been appointed as the new DG. The gloriously gorgeous new Executive Director is a force to reckon with in her own right. The University of Lagos, 1986 Law graduate, has had about 25 years corporate professional experience in Banking, Manufacturing & Oil and Gas sectors. Till her latest appointment, she was an Executive Director at Keystone Bank Limited, before this appointment she had done well running her own companies and doing very well with them. Though many are of the opinion that the new DG is eminently qualified and would do a great job at her new appointemnt. They are wondering why someone of the caliber of Otunba Segun Runsewe, who helped in no small measure to inject life into a formerly comatose sector of the economy and who took to the job as if his whole existence depended on it and winning many awards on the job, could be removed so unceremoniously.
Anyways easy come easy go, bye-bye to the great man, tourism would miss you and welcome Sally Uwechue-Mbanefo, all eyes are on you now.
Thank God Runsewe is gone,he had no respect for all d ministers who have headed the ministry from the time of kayode to Edem duke, feeling like a super DG , oh how are the mighty fallen. Mrs Mbanefo pls start by sacking Akin Onipede(D Press) and Mr Okoh(D Finance) Hajia Abdulrahman(D MP).then you can succeed
ReplyDeleteSally still fucking her way through positions. Yes, I said it. I have her low down.
ReplyDeleteIt's like FFK giving that Aderemi woman a job. Bedroom matters.
Sally has always been hot (beauty and brains) and is still hot.
Rubbish! Total nonsense. Bet she's sleeping with Edem Duke and Anyim plus one. WTF! Dirty girl. Thats how she was eyeing my husband and he gave her the biggest isho of her life. Why would a mulatto(lol) be put as head of tourism nitori olorun. Case of misplaced priorities. I tire for this govt
ReplyDeleteDon't understand what the hullaballo is all about. Is it that the new boss can't do the job or what, why this campaign of calumny.we Women are the enemies of each other oooo. So nothing is on merit anymore, except by bedmatics? Na wa shiooo
ReplyDeleteThis madam dey sleep around well! Her divorce. Matter wasn't easy. Nasty nasty details
ReplyDeleteAll you haters God forgive you, someone so qualified got te post and you r accusing her of sleeping around.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it's bcos u are all ugly bth inside and outside. She is a hardworking lady and deserves it, stop hating and pray that God will elevate your status in life .
As for the madam that says she was eyeing your husband, continue to let him deceive you, he is the ne eyeing her.
Bitterness gets us nowhere, when people who deserve stuff are given try to be happy fr them and in turn your own goodness will come.
All this bad talk s evil and God is watching, so pls don't use your bad mouth to destroy your own destiny.
Sally deserves stuff? You must be her or you don't know her. Her story has always been out there. She uses her beauty and brains to cover up but she's as sleazy as the sleaziest person out there. Sharp lady.
ReplyDeleteIt's the height of small-mindedness and vindictiveness for anyone to make such distasteful comments because a woman gets to head a govt org. For the one who says Sally slept her way there, you still admit she has not just beauty, but BRAINS as well. So how come it's difficult for you now to accept that her brains got her the job? For the woman who has a grouse over the matter of whether or not Sally eyed her husband; I hope he's worthy of your bad belle towards Sally & for your own sake, let's hope his story of "nobly" resisting her wiles is true and it's not the other way round. One wonders what he looks like!. And your very insulting and out-dated description of Sally's parentage as "mulatto" not only shows you as a mean, small-minded, unenlightened racist, but a tribalist as well; certainly not what Nigeria needs now.Boko Haram is enough trouble for us as it is. As for the one who mentioned her divorce, you must be an enemy within the house! Lastly, the position of DG is not Runsewe's birthright, same way it's not Sally's; so please, get over yourselves people, and let Sally,a beautiful, intelligent, bonafide, freeborn Nigerian woman show us what she can do before we accuse, judge & condemn her, b4 she's even started!
ReplyDeleteGbamest!!!!! U are more than right dear. How come every success stride for women is judged by some form of useless suspicions. Everyone who has spoken, has not had any reason(s) to doubt the woman's academic records. So whether she's divorced or not, how does that affect her output. It's so obvious that the people saying nonsense are those who used to enjoy the former NTDC boss's largesse. Must the man die there, can't some other people try their best too? Na wa for human beings sha. Na envy and jealousy go kill some people.
ReplyDeleteE ka bo, Cheif publicist to sally 'the mullato'. Tell her to close her legs, period. She has a really terrible reputation. By the way, are you so jobless that you keep commenting every few minutes?.........jobless fool.
ReplyDeleteYour madam knows what she is doing ooh, dont you joke about that
Na way oh, judgement before judgement day, pls let this beauty with brains do her job, she is more than qualified.
ReplyDeleteIn naija if a fine woman gets anything, she slept around for it.
Ah must very one be ugly, before she can get jobs on merit?
Please let's be civil here, the runs ewe guy was not a saint either, so why is everyone attacking this lady.
Nigerian women, we are our own problem, insecurities make us have such ideas about one another.
I know this lady ,half of the stories about her are lies, she comes to my church and is very helpful
Let's try to help ourselves so this rubbish stigmatization of women in power stops.
The fact that she goes to "your church, the big one on the Is land" does not make her a saint. How come nobody has nothing to say about Ifueko, the tax lady? She's very decent and a professional. Our House of Rep members, who specialize in rubbishing women with k-leg, have a lot of respect for her! I can list others too. However, when you sleep your way to the top, always remember, people are watching! Qualifications or not, you would be rubbished, period
ReplyDeleteBad belles, the woman deserves the position o jare! Beauty n Brain join together, also very humble when you meet her one on one. Ride on Sally!
ReplyDeleteWe need more women in govt
ReplyDeleteAnd she's pretty as well
HYBunny
Please leave beautiful sally alone to do her job. We need such a beautiful face to represent the country(Nigeria) especially in the tourism industry so that visitors can easily be attracted into the country. Ride on SALLY! Solidly behind you.
ReplyDeleteHmmm.I won't doubt that she may have some dirty secrets but we hope she does the job.
ReplyDeleteThe moment that woman stepped into the office I for sure saw reasons to believe that tourism has got an angle not only that she wonderfully made but her line up of achievements signifies productivity in every thing she touches. Talk all you want she will take tourism to its rightful place in Nigeria and also touch the heart of the world.
ReplyDeleteTalk all you want, The moment that woman walked into the office I for sure saw reasons to believe that tourism will be taken to its rightful place in Nigeria. Not only that she is wonderfully made, her line up of achievements shows that there is productivity in everything she touches. I have no doubt that her administration will bring light to Nigerian tourism in a way it will touch the heart of Nigeria and the world. She is a woman with a good heart and she's God sent.
ReplyDeleteThe Runsewe man is an ingrate. He had serve for seven years;others spend one year and some two and were removed but they did not cause troble.NTDC is not Otunba's birth right,he was the least qualified when he was appoited.Leave the SALLY woman to do her job.Otunba is affriad the woman will do better than him with her good track records and experiences. While Otunba did newspaper Tourism, she is poise for the real koko in tourism.Let O-Two-numba go and sit down,so it is Soja go Soja come. She has our backing whether you like it or yes.
ReplyDeleteFrom every indication, Runsewe has only suceeded in taking the industry(Tourism NTDC) backwards with his in-experienced style of administration, he was said to have once told the staff of the corporation during one of his meetings with them that he dosent believe or know any form of administration, that the only language he knows is "APPROVED", "NOT APPROVED", i.e only approval of funds. For Runsewes 7 yrs in NTDC, all that he has done is bribe press & media houses to write or say things that he has not done or never existed. Free-lance repoters like Frank Mnmeke, etc who has made the NTDC their feeding ground goes about reporting all sorts of nonesense. Runsewe ekpele o, take heart & go and enjoy all that you have stolen fron NDTC tru foreign tours, fake tourism contracts, etc. NTDC is not your fathers farm, and allow the new elegant, experienced, intelligent, knowledgeable Sally Mbanefo to take the corporation to higher heights.
ReplyDeleteRunsewe has boasted aloud severally that the wealth his father left behind for him is enough for his next THREE genertion
ReplyDeleteRunsewe has always boasted that the wealth his father left behind for him is enough for his 4th - 5th generations; I don't know why then he is going to all lenghts to be re-instated back after his being booted out as D G of the NTDC. Yeye Lousy boastful yoruba man
ReplyDeleteNothing lasts Forever, Fame comes and goes. Still withstanding life must go on.
DeleteTribalism is the core of our problems in Nigeria. "Loud, boastful Yoruba man..". Was the Yoruba adjective necessary?
ReplyDeleteSally is an indefatigable workaholic, she does not only like her job but is goal driven and focused. Her long hours in the office are usually for relentless researches and I tell you, she would still resume before you the next day. That is the extent she likes a job. She loves to personally touch the lives her subordinates by her motherly concern with empathy, clear direction and commitment. It is most unfair to denigrate this hardworking Nigerian woman. Our prayer is that she is able to find a good balance between her job and wifely duties too.
