DOLAPO ONI |
Loss for Studio 53 Extra has become the gain of Mo Abudu's Ebony Life TV. Would her co-anchor or host Eku Edewor be following too? We don't know.
After 3 solid years as co-host of M-Net’s entertainment show ‘53 Extra’, Dolapo Oni has recently signed up with Mo Abudu’s famed talk show ‘Moments With Mo’, which has found a new home as the flagship show at Africa’s first global TV network: Ebony Life TV.
This marks just the start for Dolapo, coming
off the back of signing a deal as one of the celebrity ambassadors for bubbly
alcoholic beverage, SNAPP.
Dolapo, always keen to perfect her craft
and elevate her career to the next level, saw Ebony Life as a fantastic
opportunity that couldn't be missed. On moving to this exciting new channel,
Dolapo says: “I’m looking forward to being part of history-in –the-making with
Ebony Life TV. It’s an amazing team and the perfect new venture for me”. This is a natural progression for Dolapo and
very much in keeping with her passion for arts and current affairs across the
board. It will be a role that will show viewers a truly multi-faceted side to Dolapo,
paving the way for more exciting ventures to come.
Not shy of hard work or risk-taking, Dolapo didn't rely on her experience as one of Nigeria’s most notable TV presenters,
but instead, took the opportunity with Ebony Life TV humbly, by going through
the rigorous audition process to secure herself this monumental role.
Moments With Mo will be a daily talk show,
due to launch in Africa this July, before rolling on to Sky TV in the UK and
DISH in the US.
Look out for more exciting projects to come
from Dolapo in 2013. This is just the beginning.
She'll be co-hosting with Mo, what a combo of 2 stiff people. I hope the combo will last a while!
ReplyDeletePetty Dolapo off screen, at Ama's trad in Accra almost 2 yrs ago she was talking about her driver and flights *long hiss*.
ReplyDeleteWorse still, she didn't look pretty at all, immediately we uploaded the wedding pixes on fb, she untagged herself. Thank God for studio lighting and makeup. She worwor no be small.
is she still dating that blockhead gbite or have they finally called it quits?
ReplyDeleteReally, she's not fine? She has a polished look though or is it the makeup and lighting too?
ReplyDeleteI agree she may not be the pretty face but then anybody can look polished with makeup and lighting. I've seen her at an event looking polished, nothing to take a second glance at if not for her media status.
ReplyDeleteSo will the show now be Moments with Mo and Do? Hahahahehehe...
Aproko abd bigs girls are you 2 beautiful? Even if you're your personality is fugly.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Dolapo, the sky is your limit.
@previous anon, am beautiful and going to my kids's school with just the kohl as the only makeup, my kids friends tell my kids their mum is beautiful. As for my personality, I'm happily married with a good job. Go tell Dolapo marriage should be next for her...
ReplyDeleteAnon 10.36pm, just the same way I wouldn't say Funlola Aofiyebi and Bukky KW are beautiful. You get it?
Funlola is pretty. BKW, nowhere near pretty.
ReplyDeleteEku is somehow...
ReplyDeleteDolapo is a pretty woman. She has a very graceful features and is so polite to everyone in public. I don't know her privately so I can't comment on that. Her features are elegant and fit her petite frame, she doesn't have the common "cute" face nor is it very sensual, she is quite attractive none the less, to call her not pretty is quite an overstatement.
ReplyDeleteToo much beef. Dolapo, congrats and more grease to your elbows! Someone taking charge of their life. *in my kids school with just kohl as d only makeup.. Na wah for response*
