MISS NIGERIA 2013…36 FINALISTS SELECTED

After scouring the length and breadth of our great country for the past 6 months, going through a rigorous, nail-biting and exciting audition and elimination process, we can now finally announce the emergence of our 36 final contestants for the crown of Miss Nigeria! 

Yes, the 36 finalist have emerged and will now feature in a two-week reality TV show titled 'THE MAKING OF A QUEEN".

THE MAKING OF THE QUEEN will see our 36 contestants enter into the special Miss Nigeria House where they will undergo grooming and preparation for the role of Miss Nigeria. Eliminations will take place during this period as we whittle down to the “21 most suitable ladies”. The 21 ladies will then go on to compete for the Miss Nigeria crown at the Grand finale where a winner will be chosen based on elegance, poise, talent, intelligence and beauty.

Created in 1957, The Miss Nigeria beauty pageant has discovered and made beauty queens such as Grace Oyelude, Julie Coker, Helen Prest Ajayi, Binta Sukai, Vien Tetsola, Sylva Edem, Ene Lawani and Damilola Agbajor into household names. 
Now in its 38th year, Miss Nigeria, a strong symbol of African culture and tradition is brought to you by the African Times Network. Contestants who emerge through the Miss Nigeria 2013 grooming process will not only carry a worthy title but will also serve our great nation by becoming ambassadors and positive role models to Nigerian women and Nigerians in the Diaspora.
