AKUDO EZINNE ANYAOHA EMERGES MISS NIGERIA 2013

WINNER & IST RUNNER-UP

Gorgeous & beautiful 22 year old Akudo Ezinne Anyaoha emerged the winner of the 38th edition of the Miss Nigeria Pageant last night at the at the 2013 edition of the competition held lastnite at the InterContinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The statuesque, Law graduate of Abia State University, dismantled all the other 20 contesting against her.

She carted home a brand new car and would receive a cash price of #3 million Naira. And also for winning, she would be embarking on a sponsored trip by MUD Cosmetics to California, USA, which is the Headquarters of the make-up company.  The 1st runner-up is the sweetly beautiful Celestine Queen,21 & 2nd runner-up is 18 years old Olive Sadiq with the beautiful low cut.

We heard it was a packed event and as usual started 2 hours behind schedule. The venue could only allow for 500 guests, so much so that even an ex-queen was 'gated' and wasn't allowed in, majorly because 2 sets of IV's were printed and some of those with the scroll like IV's weren't allowed in, while the IV card's printed by Daily Times allowed guests in without stress.

Some of the other former queens that attended were Helen Ajayi-Miss Nigeria 1979, Binta Sukai-Miss Nigeria 1990, Nwando Okwuosa-Miss Nigeria 2003, while the incredibly gorgeous Anita Iseghohi, MBGN 2004 also attended with her husband, Tom Iseghohi.

Some of the dignitaries that attended were the 1st lady of Ekiti State, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, Ms Sally Mbanefo, the DG of NTDC, Ex-International J.J Okocha, who was a judge, Ex-beauty queen in the 80's and now founder of Isis Model and owner of the NNSM competition, Mrs. Joan Okorodudu, talk show host & founder of EbonyLife Tv, Mo Abudu, Publisher of Genevieve Magazine, Betty Irabor, Hon. Abike Dabiri & her husband, Olumide & Dakore Akande, top Nigerian designer, Frank Osodi and many other guests.

There were performances by the duo of Seyi Shay and Kaycee of the Limpopo fame. The event was hosted by the comedian AY & Eku Edewor, while there was comedy skits by the duo of Bovi & the newly married Elenu.

Congratulations to the new Miss Nigeria.

  3. This babe had been in front line for the crown since day one. If not, she would not have made even top 21! Anyway, it's the Naija style sad that the deserving one was robbed though.

  4. KKK Abeggi!!! What do you mean by her bn in the frontline from day 1? She was becos she had all of what it takes to be the queen and she deservedly won.

Who was the one that was robbed? The judges on the night, picked who they thot best deserved the crown and that's all. No cheating theory from any sore looser wld change that.

  5. I've followed this pageant from scratch, she deserved to win! Infact, in my judgement she was top 3.
Miss Nigeria pageantry is more honourable, no back meeting with mothers or sugar daddies of contestants.

  7. @ KKK

If this was a fix then it was a good one because the girl looks very beautiful and poise.

May she have a scandal free reign. Enjoy your time

  9. Ada Mazi, accept my congratulations. U have it takes to be chosen and u have been chosen. However, a note of warning, ur winning was not your making. It is because it pleased Him.
So my advise is that u use ur position to honour HIM.weldone

  10. For me, except for the face which by the way is not the most impotant thing in beauty pageants, this sadiq girl is my choice. I mean, any one that watched the show will testify.she had the poise, carriage and the way she walked, it was like she was really competing in miss universe. All the same, she was just mine and my sisters choice not the judges. What a waste! Still happy for miss Akudo though.
