...........AND THE NEW MBGN 2013 IS............MISS BAYELSA. JUST LIKE WE HAD PREDICTED.

THE WINNER

1ST RUNNER UP

Should we say it was a rigorous battle for the crown? We just might. It started with 32 and then it was reduced to 15 queens- Miss Delta, Nasarawa, Kogi, Rivers, Edo, Ekiti, Jigawa, Adamawa, Abuja, Lagos, Kwara, Kaduna, Bayelsa, Plateau, Imo. Just before the top 5 was announced one of Bayelsa's best known sons, Timi Dakolo serenaded the girls. And thereafter the top 5 girls were announced and they were Miss Kaduna, Imo, Bayelsa, Adamawa & Abuja.

The 5 now had to answer some extra easy questions- And that was where Miss Abuja who before the questions & answers session was looking like a clear winner seemingly lost the crown. She totally bungled it. It was shame.............

Then Guy Murray-Bruce came up to announce the winners & runners-up. And the winner is.............. Miss Bayelsa, with Miss Imo as the 1st runner up, 2nd runner-up-Miss Adamawa, 3rd runner-up Kaduna and the 4th runner up is Miss Abuja.

We do not want to gloat too much by saying we told you, Miss Bayelsa would win. The winner is going home with a salary from Silverbird, another #500,000 from one of the sponsors, A brand new car and a Cartier watch courtesy of Polo Limited.

For emerging the winner, Anna E. Banner, the queen was immediately named by the Governor of Bayelsa State as the new Special Assistant on Culture & Tourism. Not only that she also became the state's culture & tourism ambassador. Lucky girl, don't you all think. Very soon sha we won't believe in this beauty pageants again.

Congratulations Bayelsa.

  4. @anon 11:06pm, even their tv station makes no sense... They just wanna stay relevant by fire by force.

As for lack of credibility, as a contestant just get a big politician or mother who's ready to f**k her way for you then you win!

  5. Come on. This is just a silly game. This girl can't win nothing abroad. The other runner ups maybe. Abuja yes. But this winner looks like every other girl in nigeria now.
