3000 PLUS MODELS ATTEND THE MUSIC MEETS RUNWAY 2013 Model Casting

The 2013 model casting for the premier music and fashion show, Music Meets Runway (MMR 2013) held last Saturday, September 21, 2013 and it was a tremendous success as a huge turnout of over 3000 young aspiring male & female models stormed the venue of the casting, as compared to about a thousand that attended the same castings last year.  Eko Hotel & Suites on the Island, which was the venue of the casting knew they had a job on their hand on the day. 

This is the latest in a series of campaigns lined up for the upcoming 3rd edition of the Music Meets Runway series, with this particular edition tagged as ''The Icons edition'. What a way to start.

The judges at the casting call had the very difficult and onerous task of picking or should we say selecting those that should be finalists out of the several choices available. It is best to say they were spoilt for choice in their selection process. The quality & sheer number of those that responded was staggering. Jennifer Olize, the CEO of Le Reve Events, who is the Creative Director of the show, showed appreciation to all those that attended and advised them to check their mails for notifications on their qualification for the show. We would get back to you ASAP, if you are selected. As for those whose luck didn't shine this year, better luck next try.

Miss Nkem Okoroafor, who is the outgoing 'Face of MMR 2012', who was also in attendance at the casting, had this to say ''whoever emerges as the winner of the Face of MMR 2013'' will have the course of her life changed forever''. Apart from becoming the Face of MMR 2013, the lucky winner will also participate at a major International Fashion Week come 2014, what more greater exposure can a model need in a career. 

Nkem Okoroafor, went on to say that many doors have being opened for her because of her being the Face of MMR 2012. It has taken me 4 years to get to where I am today. The upcoming models now see me as a role model. I was recently cast as the lead model '' The Golden Girl'' in this year's campaign shoot & video and I 'll be traveling abroad to participate at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week soon. As I pass on the crown, It's loads of mixed grill of emotions, as the year seem to have gone pass so fast. But I am happy I have laid down a good legacy for my successor to follow. 

I am eager and delighted to see who would follow in my footsteps as the next Face of MMR 2013 and continue with the task of promoting the MMR brand.
