CHIMAOBI |
Finally, finally we are releasing the pictures of the superlative wedding in Essex, England of the white wedding of the Chima & Adanna Anyaso. The beautiful occasion took place at the bride's father's expansive farmland home called Mayfield Farm, Frinton-on-sea, Great Holland, Essex, England. The very important date was Saturday, August 10, 2013.
It took us 2 good hours by car to get to the venue of the occasion from London, so in our mind we weren't expecting more than at most 120 people to be there. But to our surprise, friends & family members of Chima- known to most as a man of the people came out in large numbers to support their very own. The very first part of the fairy tale wedding, the exchange of vows took place right in front of the bride's expansive home.
It was an open air event, and it was a very romantic setting in every way one wants to look at it, it was like Aphrodite was physically present, making sure love was very tangible in the air. A small temporary stage adorned with flowers was created as the center of attraction where the wedding took place. The exchange of vows and the signing of the marriage certificate was conducted by none other than the very handsome head pastor of the House on the Rock Church, in the person of his eminence, Pastor Paul Adefarasin who was assisted by a few other pastors.
Every thing was done with precision and in a very beautiful manner. Pastor Paul was straight to the point and engaged all very well with the manner he did everything. At hand to witness the beautiful proceedings were very many eminent personalities- some of those we could easily remember were Chief Tony Anenih, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the PDP, Sir Emeka Ihedioha, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representative of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the very sweet & gorgeous Mrs Florence Ajimobi, the wife of the Governor of Oyo State, Chief Alabo Tonye Graham-Douglas, a former Minister in many capacities, Leo Stan-Ekeh, the billionaire owner of Zinox Technologies, Senator Hope Uzodinma, Willie & Nkiru Anumudu, Hon. Gerald Hona, Chief & Lolo Uche Dimgba, Elder E.E & Mrs.Ngozi Ekeoma, Chief Chris Uche, SAN, Chief Solo Akuma, SAN, Chief Kalu Ogbonna, and very many others.
The reception that followed was still in the same massive compound, but at another end to the right of where the exchange of vows had takmen place. A beautiful white marquee was positioned near the end of the massive farmland just close to about 80 meters from the main house. It was very well decorated and made fit for royalties. We cannot begin to tell you all about the abundance of foods of all types (canapes, fruits, local & continental dishes) and drinks. It was colossal. Most of the white staff members who came to serve looked on in awe.
The MC of the occasion was the very dapper Gordons, who wore his sky-blue double breasted summer suit with much aplomb, he did his job more than well and he was so well dressed for the occasion you would have thought he was one of the groomsmen. He coordinated the whole occasion with precision & alacrity, he was a delight to watch, the mix of seriousness & comedy was a perfect blend that the guests enjoyed.
The newly wed couple were ushered in by the groomsmen & maids of honour and they danced in quite gracefully to the delight of all. There after the normal proceedings at weddings took place, introduction of special guests, prayers & admonition for the couple, cutting of the 7-tier cake. Afterwards, the gorgeous bride had a change of cloth from her wedding dress to a beautiful blue number that was another winner.
All in all it was a fantastic wedding in every which way one can imagine. Everyone gave kudos to the couple for a very well put together event.
The wedding venue was like a fashion spot, guys looking debonair & dapper, while ladies were gorgeously dressed as usual like there was a fashion competition going on.
From the way friends & all rallied around the groom, it was obvious for all to see that they all hold him in high esteem and would all do their utmost to make sure anything he does comes out very well.
A belated but very big congratulations to the couple.

ReplyDeleteFinally! It was good to meet you at the wedding Aloba.
ReplyDeleteAbi o mama borngirl. They do look happy. O well such is life.
ReplyDeleteAdanna has no imperfections to warrant attacks and abuses. She's not to blame for any controversy surrounding her surname. I likey bride's dress, was a pronovias bride myself, shoes and bouquet. HML to them.
ReplyDeleteI pray, sincerely, that this marriage works. People always seem to forget that studies have shown that the 2nd marriage has a higher chance of failure than the first. Matter of act, 60% of 2nd marriages fail.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope this third time will be a charm.
ReplyDeletelove love
