Day 2 was a more colourful day in terms of all yardsticks. It was the last day of the runway showcase, so as expected loads more people were in attendance. We finally saw one of Ghana's main act, Juliet Ibrahim with her gorgeous younger sibling in tow. The guests also seem to up the ante a bit more on the style stake.
The seminar and exhibition like the day before started the days event. It was the opportunity for many to mingle and check out various products. Aisha Igbinovia of Nichole by Haguanna really impressed with her brand, she had very exclusive one of and very exotic bags made from Crocodile, Python etc skin on display and many were astonished by the finishing on her products. From what you see it's obvious that attention was paid to the minutest details. There were many other exhibitors who also had very good displays.
Just like the day before there was a slight hitch in timing again. Now we understand when anyone says 'African time'. We think it is generally impossible for Africans to keep to time. The day before had Trish 'O' Couture, TAP Designs & Modella B showcasing their collections. On the 2nd day was the turn of House of Marie & Vonne Couture. The 2 brands are owned by Joan Ibuzo & Yvonne Nwosu respectively. The Nigerian brands were some of the major highlights of the the 2 days event.
Apart from the fact that Ghana was a beautiful experience for us and that the people were a bunch of fantastic people and we made new friends. There wasn't anything extraordinary that we saw at the shows.
It was about the same faces we had seen the day before except for a few more, likes of Yvonne Nwosu, Latasha Ngwube and a few more. The likes of Danielle Allen of TIR Fashion House, Joycelyn Aduakye, Lovette Okoroji, Munachi Abii and few others impressed with their va va voom styles.
We again got a few pictures for your viewing pleasure. Check 'em out!!!
