The MET Ball (Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala) is one event that stars and celebrities alike always look forward to every year. One of the major reasons we believe is because it allows their creativity and that of their stylists and designers to run wild. Every year a theme for what to wear is given ahead, so the stars & celebs always, always go out of their way to wow any which way they can.
Though American designer Marc Jacobs had not being too excited about this year's theme, which was ''White Tie & Decorations'' celebrating the works of Anglo-American designer Charles James, the costume institute annual must be at and must be seen at event, didn't disappoint in anyway. The stars lived up to expectation, interpreting the theme as they deemed fit. It was most definitely a mix of the outrageous, with the demure and the excellence of couture.
Africa's own Lupita Nyong'o stunned again in her sparkling outfit, that was away from the dress-code.
Venue was '' The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, date was last night Monday, May 4, 2014.
