Apart from Femi Otedola, Tony Elumelu and Jim Ovia who all sometimes moves up or down on the ladder before. Femi Otedola has now retained his 3rd position again.
Perennial number 1 and 2 remained fixed, as Aliko Dangote is still the Numero Uno liquid man with a staggering worth as stated by Forbes to be $12.5billion followed by Dr Michael Agbolade Adenuga.

Aliko Dangote- Nigeria's richest and by extension Africa's wealthiest and also "Richest Blackman alive", said to be worth $12.5 billion. The value of his worth is not as it used to be meaning his position on the world's richest list from the high of nos 24 has now gone down to less than first 100 in the world.
Otunba 'Dr' Michael Agbolade Adenuga. Nigeria's consistent nos 2 richest. The owner of Globacom Nigeria nos 2 telecommunications company and owner of several other brands, with investments in several other pies. Net worth is put at $10.5 billion. Some have claimed consistently that he might be worth more than the value above.
Femi Otedola. Nigeria's current nos 3. A position that he sometimes inter changes with others. The father of DJ Cuppy has experienced the down time which really affected his wealth and worth a while back, but he has since bounced back gallantly. A testament to his strength and ability is him occupying this 3rd position now with a net worth of $2.3 billion. The owner of Zenon and chairman of Forte oil is a survivor.
Folorunsho Alakija. Hers is the story of grace. The MD of Famfa Oil is said to be the undisputed Richest woman in Nigeria and probably the richest woman of African descent, there's the issue sometimes about who is richer between her and the Angolan first daughter. The former fashion designer has since grown in leaps and bounds. The UK would not forget the wedding of her son to his beau that held at a palace recently. The media spoke about that wedding with such gloss, that made Africans and Nigerians all over the world proud. Her net worth is placed at $2.1 billion.

Theophilus Danjuma: Retired Military man, who was the Chief of Army staff during the regime of Obasanjo. The husband of Senator Daisy Danjuma, who is renowned for her collection of gemstones has grown his massive wealth in leaps. His position on the rich list has changed over the years and he now occupies the 5th position. His interests spans oil and gas, and other parts of the economy. He is the current Chairman of Atlantic Petroleum and the owner of the "twin towers" on Adeola Odeku, Victoria Island. He once made a colossal profit said to be about a billion that he didn't immediately know what to do with. His net worth is put at $1.7 billion.
Abdulsamad Rabiu. The man who name should probably be changed to "Mr Generosity" is the owner and founder of the BUA Group, one of the brands that wants to buy former Etisalat and currently 9 mobile. BUA is a major conglomerate in Nigeria. Their humongous all glass HQ on the island is nearly ready. He has major hands in Cement Production, Port Operations and Real Estate. His networth is calculated to be worth about $1.5 billion.
Tony Elumelu: Chairman of UBA has grown astronomically in the last 20 years. The graduate of Ekpoma has risen from being just a banker, to the MD of Standard Trust Bank to the Chairman of one of the oldest and biggest Nigerian Banks- UBA. He his the President of Heirs Holdings. Be his a confirmed philanthropist, who as of recent contributed $500000 towards the Sierra Leone flood disaster's rebuild and rehabilitation efforts. The global CEO is rated at $1.4 billion.
Sir Orji Uzor Kalu, the outspoken former Governor of Abia State and founder/chairman of Slok Holdings is a very liquid fellow. His hands are into many pies, from shipping to media to oil to manufacturing etc. He is the owner of Nigeria's biggest tabloid, the Sun newspapers. His palatial home in Igberre is awesome to say the least, it even has a mini 18 hole golf course. He is rated at having $1.1 billion.
Jim Ovia is rated 9th on this list. The ex-banker, in fact the 2nd banker on this list is quite very liquid. Amongst those on this list he is seemingly the most quiet. The former MD of probably Nigeria's current biggest bank Zenith Bank is a man of great means and he is said to be the singular highest shareholder of the bank. Used to own Visafone which he later sold. He is the owner of Civic Centre and imposing Civic towers in V. Island by the Law School and 1004 estates. He is rated at having $1 billion.
Oba Otudeko. Not a royal father as many might have mistaken because of the Oba (King) in his name, it's actually a part of his name Obafoluke. This man of great means sits atop a conglomerate known as Honeywell Group. The brand is into Food Processing, Oil and Gas, Real Estate and many other lucrative pies. Otudeko is also said to be the singular highest shareholder in First Bank PLC, which is the first bank to have been established in Nigeria. He is the chairman of FBN holdings owners of First Bank and is rated nos 10 on this rich list with a worth of $650 million.
With the exception of few of them, others were bank debtors Billionaires. Forbes African is not as accurate as the international counterpart and sone of these bank debtors with no heart paid their way to be profiled to get more money from foreign bank/investors with international recognition
