HUSHPUPPI'S BAIL APPLICATION DENIED BY THE US JUDGE. He is a flight risk he says....

Ramon Olorunwa Abbas

Alleged international scam artist and money launderer par excellence Ramon Olorunwa Abbas, 37 who is also known to some as Ramoni Igbalode aka Hushpuppi aka Hush, a dual citizen of both Nigeria & St. Kitts & Nevis has had his bail application in the US Court denied.

The lawyers had filed for his bail  stating that he had very much to lose rather than to gain, if he were to abscond as he is a well loved social media celebrity. In asking for his bail to leave jail, the lawyers had stated that he could have an electronic tag on him, which would monitor his movement and also that he would be accompanied by the uncle of a woman he is said to have had a child with. Meaning that not only is he married to a US Citizen who is also a St. Kitts and Nevis Citizen (a dual citizen), he is in fact also a father too! All of the information he had kept very well hidden from everyone until now.

But his prosecutors opposed the bail application, citing that he is a flight risk and also a high risk personality who could just easily commit a crime with just a smartphone and internet connection. Amongst the very many other allegations laid against the social media or better still internet celebrity, one prominent one is that he is viewed as a high level money launderer for expert hacking gangs.

Responding to the application, Judge Jeffrey Gilbert denied the bail application and said that Hushpuppi should remain in jail till he is transferred to the court in California. The judge actually said in reference to his super luxurious apartment where is said to pay $10000 monthly- "You’ve got to be doing something to pay $10,000 for an apartment in Dubai'.
