SEEMS LIKE THE VERY MUCH EXPECTED, MUCH ANTICIPATED ROYAL BAMBINO OF THE SOURCE MIGHT BE ON THE WAY AT LAST!

The King & queen of the source

Remembrance of Sir Adesoji T. Aderemi

Oba Ogunwusi & Olori Naomi

One of those things we heartily saw in our crystal ball at the end of last year-2019, entering into beginning of this year-2020 was the expectation of a royal new Bambino or Bambinos in the case of royal twins for his imperial majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi, the Ojaja II, the Arole Odua and the Ooni of Ife via his wife, Olori prophetess Silekunola   Ogunwusi.

To say the birth of the prince or princess or royal twins-princes or princesses or a mix of the two is one of the most anticipated 2020 occurrence is like stating it rather too mildly.

Now it seems maybe our anticipation/desire would be finally blessed and gifted, most especially if the body language and royal utterance of a king (royal father) of the caliber of the Oonirisa is to be taken into consideration.

Let's quickly explain what we mean by the caliber of this particular king. For those who might not actually understand it, The Ooni in his position as the highest ranking royal father of the Yoruba race & a direct descendant of the founder of that race, is like what the heads of the prominent religions are to those religions. Meaning as the head of the traditional religion/the worshipping of the gods/goddesses of the ancients, he himself in the actual sense of it, is venerated as a god too, but not the Almighty GOD though.

So if he is seen then as a god, then just imagine how valued his utterances also and decisions would be then!  Remember also that another king, in the person of the Alaafin of Oyo is viewed as the very personification Shango, that very god of thunder himself!

So in a special way using innuendos  may just be how the well loved, handsome and highly revered king might have thought to let the cat out of his bag. After a season of speculations, the royal father may have given the hint of an incoming new prince of the source, has he vowed to name his unborn prince after the late Sir 'Adesoji Tadenikawo Aderemi', who was the 49th Ooni of Ife, as a mark of appreciation to Oba Aderemi for his good works. Oba Aderemi is still believed till tomorrow, to have been one of the greatest kings to have ever ruled Ife, bringing unbelievable development and prestige to the crown and his domain.

Ooni Ogunwusi made the promise just on Friday, July 3, 2020  while speaking at the 40th years remembrance programme organized by the late Aderemi’s princes, princesses and grandchildren in remembrance of the great Ooni who reigned between 1930 to 1980 for a staggering 50 years, before an extraordinary king in the person of Oba Okunade Sijuwade took over.

At that event which held at Oba Ogunwusi's, Ile Oduduwa palace, Ooni Ogunwusi described his predecessor, as a great icon who will forever be remembered for his immeasurable contributions to the independence, stabilization and growth of Nigeria.

To vow to name his yet unborn son after such an iconic personality at such an important occasion wouldn't have been without consideration.  Like we have already stated the Ooni is viewed as a god, so his words, nuances, body language et al are very important and point towards things not expressly said. And to give clothe to the speculation that Olori Naomi might actually be heavy already, she has totally cut off the social media, which she embraced very well before.

When this 'son' comes  for Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi & his wife Olori Silekunola Naomi, he would be the long awaited brother to his much older sister who is in her 20s and in a higher institution, studying abroad.

This marriage to Olori 'prophetess' Naomi is the 3rd for the king. His first marriage of 8 years to 'Adebisi Adebukola nee Bombata' before he ascended the throne of his forebears didn’t produce any children till it crashed unceremoniously.

Though Adebukola had tried for them to reconcile just before he was installed as the 51st Ooni of the source, the marriage could not sustain whatever pressure it faced and thereafter the coronation, she left and travelled abroad.

A king cannot be a bachelor on the throne, so he had to look for a wife and it was to Benin he went and the lucky one was none other than 'Wuraola Zaynab Otiti'. Wuraola became a full-fledge Ile Ife Queen in 2016. It was a well celebrated nuptial. A flamboyant king and colourful king married to a stylish and equally colourful Olori.

So, many thought the marriage was heaven on earth and it looked like that initially, they were like the perfect pair, but alas, what was thought as a match made in traditional heaven crumbled like badly arranged domino in 2017. And it was followed by a lot of mud throwing on social media.

Those 2 failed marriages never produced the much expected heir, so the reason that this particular and peculiar association is viewed as a very blessed one in all ramifications is the blessings of both worlds that have united together to make this happen. Olori Naomi is a Christian 'prophetess' and her husband is the very epitome, the actual flag bearer of traditional religion all over the world.
