PASTOR OKOTIE SEPARATED FROM WIFE, MAKES THE ANNOUNCEMENT IN CHURCH TODAY

That's the news in town right now, the very flamboyant Man of God whose gift of the garb continually mesmerizes very many, he is an orator par excellence, announced to the shocked congregation today after the last service.

The presiding Pastor of the Household of God, had gotten married to the very beautiful Stephanie Henshaw about 4 years ago-August 2008 to be more precise, at a very elaborate nuptial ceremony, which had many of his church members doing their possible best to outdo each other, to impress their father in the Lord. It was the Man of God's 2nd time of tying the knot. He had being married before to Tina who after her divorce from Pastor Kris had gone on to remarry.

Those in Church today at the Household couldn't believe their ears, when just after the last service, the Man of God was said to have announced his separation from his wife, according to him, it was due to irreconcilable differences and there was no going back on the decisions already taken, he said he wanted to be the one to break the sad news to them and hoped for their understanding.

URGENT ADVISE NEEDED. PLEASE RESPOND

We came across this and we thought to share it, as we would love your opinions on it. Please advise appropriately. Here goes.

I have met a lovely girl via a social networking site and cannot wait to meet her properly! She is from Lagos, in Nigeria, and has never been to Britain before.

She says that she is in love with me.
We will be meeting in the flesh for the first time in August. I ‘m sending her the money for the airline tickets and also a little extra for the orphanage she runs. My question, though, is how likely is it that she will be willing to sleep with me, do you think? I am aware that there are cultural differences between our two countries on this, as on many other issues.

UCHE NNAJI CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY & RELEASES SINGLE

Style entrepreneur and budding musician-Uche Nnaji the MD/CEO of the fashion brand-OUCH! Had a double pronged event recently at his Flagship, located on Admiralty Road, Lekki Phase 1 on the Island. It was the occasion of his birthday and the launch of his music single.  Many didn’t know the young and handsome entrepreneur could sing, so out of curiosity loads of his friends, came out thinking to make good fun of him. We can tell you all for a fact, that Nigeria has gotten a new international Music star in the making in Uche.

Mr. Nnaji serenaded all that came to wish him a happy birthday with his soulful voice, has he sung the single to the delight of all, he made a very good impression, so much so that many wished him well, as he takes on another fantastic creative frontier. We pray he succeeds, where many have fallen by the wayside.

The new single is titled-Call Me, a contemporary slow ballad, done in style of many Rhythm and Blues great. We love the fact that, he did not over-stretch himself by wanting to do more than his gift would allow, but did a song that many would quickly gravitate towards. We hear the song is already receiving massive airplay. When asked, when the full body of works would be ready, seeing that the first single was done fantastically well and receiving good review, Uche stylishly replied, ‘’we would take our time to do it, having the mind that we want to deliver a world class body of works’’. We trust that he and his crew would be able to deliver on the promise.
Loads of Uche’s friends were in attendance at the very informal event, we saw his friend and business partner Omena Daniels, Ohimai Atafo and his wife, Scott Igbene, Ugonna Omeruo, Freeze,  Julius Agwu, Timi Dakolo, Charles Granville, MC Abbey, Aisha Salami, Latasha Ngwube, Dabota Lawson, Adejoke Adepashe, Emem Ema, Adebola Williams, Adebayo Akindun, Maleek Shehu, Moriam Musa, Omoye Uzamere, Abiola Aloba and others.  All pictures supplied by CHP Fotos.

MARYAM ONIKIJIPA & ABDULSALAM BELGORE'S WEDDING-welcome to the Nikkai

The first 2 days of the nuptial ceremony was awesome no doubt, first was the bride's eve, then next was the wolimat, both were very colorful events. We didn't know you could have a religious ceremony of this sort and still have much fun an enjoyment. We have never at any point seen so many Islamic clerics as there were at this nuptial before. It wasn't boring at all. Just like the 2 earlier dates, the town poured out in great numbers to catch a glimpse of the days proceedings. There were many top dignitaries from far and wide who came to celebrate with the couple, we saw a few Taiwo Afolabi, Muiz Banire, HRM, Oba Elegushi and his gorgeous wife, we heard Mohammed Babangida came in very briefly though we didn't see him, Shina Peller and very many others.

This 3rd day was the real deal, the couple were going to be joined together in Holy Matrimony (NIKKAI), everyone had planned so much toward this day, it was obvious it was definitely going to be a slam-dunk, but Alas! Very early morning of that great day, the news filtered out that the mother of the groom had bid farewell to the world, bringing a big dampener on the proceedings. Many even thought the whole event was going to be postponed in honor of the dearly departed, who prior to the time had been receiving treatment, before passing on peacefully on the day of her daughter-in-law & son's Nikkai.

After much deliberation on what to do, both families finally agreed to continue with the wedding ceremony and we can tell for a fact without mincing words, it was a great one, though a bit sad. The bride was looking as stunning as ever, though looking very beautiful and well dressed for her great day, you could feel her sadness about losing her mother-in-law, her husband to be was a tower of strength, having to keep his emotions in check, the pain over the sudden demise of his beloved mom would have been excruciating, but the joy of his wedding must have given him a bit of strength. We must commend him for his strength.

The days proceedings went on without hitches, the Husband to be, came in wearing a glorious Agbada ensemble, which had Gold embroidery all over the front part. The gloriously gorgeous bride, had on a white Buba and Iro outfit, wearing very beautiful gold slippers to match and the jewelry was beautiful to behold, coming out with her group of gorgeous friends and family members, she had on a white veil, which was later removed during the ceremony. The Imams conducted the whole ceremony with fabulous precision amidst rains of prayers from all and sundry. It was a beautiful ceremony to behold.

We had everything covered in pictures for your delight. Check it out.
