SAD SAD LOSS AS LAGOS STATE SA ON COMMERCE DEJI TINUBU DIES!

The larger Tinubu family of Lagos have sadly lost another of their sons, this time around, it is renowned sports enthusiast and the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor/Government on Commerce and Industries, in the person of sports loving gentleman, Deji Tinubu.

The untimely and very sad occurance happened yesterday at the Lagos State retreat in Epe Lagos organised by the state Government, where the state government officials have all converged to strategise.
Deji's's sad passing according to the unconfirmed initial prognosis might have been caused by cardiac arrest. He was said to have slumped suddenly while playing football on the pitch at the retreat in Epe in the afternoon of yesterday and thereafter gave up the ghost later in the evening.

Deji Tinubu was very recently redeployed by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode administration of Lagos to advise as a Special Adviser on Commerce and Industries from being an S.A Sports, a strong forte of his for several years. He use to double as both the SA on Sports and DG, Lagos State Sports Commission then, before his new assignment at which he died.

Deji died at age 53 years, he would have been 54 come July 31st of 2018 having being born in 1964 of the date. He had his secondary school education at the famous Government College, Ibadan. Oyo State. He is survived by his immediate and extended family members.

May his gentle soul find rest and make paradise. 

SAD LOSS FOR EUCHARIA ANUNOBI AS SHE LOST HER ONLY SON

Not a good one at all. While many were celebrating and rejoicing in adding a new year or the birth of a new child or celebrating one great achievements or the other, it was gloom and sadness for some and what a shame that was!

Former Nollywood star and now woman of God, Eucharia ANUNOBI, very sadly lost her only son, a 15 year old boy by name Raymond to death due to complications from Sickle Cell Anaemia.

The strong lady had gallantly nurtured the young boy alone, singlehandedly all of these years, until the evil hands of death snatched him away from her.

A fellow actress Remi Surutu, who also not too long ago lost her beautiful daughter to the cold hands of death, via the same Sickle Cell Anaemia, commiserated with Eucharia.

We deeply commiserate with the gallant lady over her sad loss, may the soul of the dearly departed find rest.

The rich, big and very influential also cries so the common saying goes, as a matter of fact, the same 6 feet deep that the poor would be buried in, is the same the rich and famous would also be buried in too. Only difference might just be the value of the land for the burial and the cost of the coffin/casket or cloth the dead would wear, but even at that, it still doesn't matter at all to the dead. For the dead is dead and has no appreciation whatsoever of the value of anything! So why bother at all!

If money and influence could buy the rich more time or the opportunity not to die at all, they would have paid death such colossal amount and gotten the opportunity to live forever and forever, but alas that's not the case. Same death that takes the haves, is the same that takes the have-nots. And at anytime man's mortal enemy death feels like.

For the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, former Governor of Jigawa State and one of those who wants to run for the Presidency in 2019, in the person of Alhaji Sule Lamido, If death had wanted money or connection he would have gladly given those things, without flinching or bating an eyelid, just so that his beautiful daughter by name HADIZA could have remained alive now and for as long as possible.

So death, also referred to as the grim reaper snatched Hadiza, 38 away in her prime and in far away India, this weekend after a brief illness, leaving terrible gloom and despondency and sadness in her trail.

Lamido's daughter at 38 was born in 1979 and is survived by, her dad, her husband and 3 young kids and other family members. Burial arrangements would be announced soon.

May her soul rest in peace.

We don't know how far true the stories we are getting are, but we hear that there's a syndicate that has perfected a way to traffic gullible young men and especially women to their deaths.

According to the unconfirmed gist, people are lured by offers of jobs in foreign countries. The bait is that those so interested would earn hard currency like dollars, which because of the terrible recession has quadruple in value excessively. Once the damned ones take the bait, all is done to facilitate their traveling out of the country as quickly as possible, most often and most likely that might be their last trip ever.

Alas! Instead of the expected golden fleece and change of life and status, once they get abroad they are handed over to those paid to farm for "human organs"; These dastardly ones would kill such trapped ones brutally, in order to remove their kidneys, livers and all other organs they might want or need to remove for sale!!!

FORMER HEALTH MINISTER PROF. BABATUNDE OSOTIMEHIN AS PASSED ON

Former Health Minister and ED, United Nations Population Fund, UNFPA has passed on. He served under the former President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.

Sad occurance is said to have happened in the early hours of today, Monday, June 5, 2017.

The former Provost of the College the Medicine at the University of Ibadan was 68 years old, (date of birth was February 6, 1949).

Before his untimely demise, this was his 2nd stint as the ED of UNFPA, as he was first appointed in 2010 for a 4 years stint and reappointed thereafter in 2014. His rank at the UN was Under Secretary General.

He hailed from Ogun State.

I am Aisha Falode, Mother of 19 year old Toba Falode.

I’m giving the following statement as fact in the unfortunate death of my son. Oluwadamilola Oloruntoba Falode, who was a student of SAE Institute, Dubai in the UAE admitted to study Audio Production in October, 2013 and resided on the 17th floor of Manchester Towers, Dubai Marina.

In the early hours of the 15th of February, 2014, I received a call from the security guard at my son’s apartment block informing me that something serious had just happened to my son, Toba. I then immediately called his close friend, Nick Allison, a South African, who then informed me that my Toba had passed on from falling from the balcony of his 17th floor apartment.

ADIEU ZARA GRETTI!!! RIP

So sad that recognition most often comes after a misfortune that cannot be reversed or helped. At only 28 years old one of the very promising music acts in Nigeria has passed on. She had battled gallantly for a long period of time multiple sclerosis (an inflammatory disease that affects the spinal cord and the brain). She battled the problem all by herself for a whole year. 


We even heard just yesterday that at a point a few friends had appealed to the public to help raise money about $60,000 for her treatment, but no one responded. 

The very sad aspect of it, is that in her own world (music industry) none looked her way. A particular world where many flaunt money as if there's no tomorrow, where people throw money around like it's nothing, just 4 of the so called musicians could have raised the money without any stress on them. That would have been a call to help save our own. 

But we totally understand anyway, it's the end times and one of the features of this time is that the heart of men would wax cold, there wouldn't be love. So helping out a sister in need wouldn't be a priority. Wow! It's cold cold world, people only celebrate with you when all is well, but once things turn over, you are left for the dogs to maul on. 

Na wa oooooo.  Sadly Margaret Mary Oluwatoyin Ejiro Joseph aka Zara Gretti passed on yesterday morning. Her last tweet the night before her death was ''I Love & Hate my Life''

PROFESSOR FESTUS IYAYI KILLED IN ACCIDENT INVOLVING GOVERNOR IDRIS WADA'S CONVOY

 

PROFESSOR FESTUS IYAYI

 Former ASUU President, Professor Festus Iyayi died a few hours ago in the Kogi State capital, Lokoja from complications from accident that involved the convoy of the Governor of the state, Governor Idris Wada.

The late Professor was on his way to Kano for a meeting of ASUU when the terrible crash occurred. This is the 2nd time in less than a year that the Governor would be involved in a terrible accident where lives were lost. In December of 2012, his convoy was involved in a crash where he lost one of his security aides, while the Governor and 2 others wee seriously wounded.
