COMPARE & CONTRAST. GUCCI MADE OR ABA MADE? WHO WORE IT BEST? 1ST LADY OR UNKNOWN DUDE?

First Lady vs. Normal Dude

Wonders shall never end, never ever. As long as we are alive and have the breath of life in us, we would continue to see and observe things that would make us laugh and wonder. This article with the regular dude in his specially made Gucci mask 🎭 is one of such wonders.

So madam 1st lady, Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano dazzled all comers recently with her 1M plus Naira ($2755) Gucci limited edition eye mask with crystals just today, which caused loads of uproar or better still reactions.

Now an ordinary (regular guy) citizen too has shown madam, that cannot be the only one getting all the attention whilst wearing the Gucci mask, as he was seen wearing the exact same Gucci, but his own is a "Made in Nigeria version" of the same mask with delightsome panache and swag.

So we have thought to ask you all, that who wore it best?

Madam or dude?

At least Gucci na Gucci now, either from Italy or ABA!!!

MRS. WILLIE OBIANO DAZZLES WITH HER 1M PLUS NAIRA EYE SHADE OR GUCCI MASK.

Madam's husband Sir Willie Obiano, is the executive Governor of the richest or wealthiest Ibo state in Nigeria, that's talking about Anambra State. If we are right, it is believed that Anambra has the highest number of multimillionaires, billionaires, wealthy men and women of Ibo extraction.

So to be the chief executive of such a state is not just a little feat, you have to be packed too or you must be well supported by heavyweights. Sir Willie Obiano a former good friend of the former state Governor, Peter Obi adjudged to have been one of the best Governors to have ever ruled that state, is on to his 2nd and final term as a Governor.

In his first term as the State Chief  Executive, the former Executive director at Fidelity Bank, a bank that Peter Obi is acclaimed to have been one of the owners (the truth about that we do not know for sure), was adjudged to have done a pretty good job in governance & the delivery of the dividend of democracy to the delight of his people, that was before erstwhile friends Obiano & Obi, mentor and mentee fell apart not to reconcile again till now.

It seems like this 2nd term has just been, just that, just moving with the tide having the fun that Governing a state makes happen. Nothing extraordinary unlike in the first term have been heard, except that madam first lady of Anambra, Mrs. E V Obiano is a fashionista worth her salt.

Madam was seen recently wearing what the designer brand-Gucci called a eye mask, that's how they described this gasp inducing eye wear. Normally you had seen such a spectacle more on a much younger person, maybe someone more in the entertainment industry seeking for attention. With the position of First Lady of a whole state, would madam be in need of attention again? Especially as we have told you the kind of state her husband is in charge of! But truth be told ooooo, Madam Ebele V. Obiano according to the gist is actually the de facto Governor of Anambra state, while her husband the actual is supposedly the Chief of Staff. According to the gist, the woman who used to be so quick at landing slaps on the face of any who tries nonsense in the state, even made her former maid in Lagos, the Commissioner for Women Affairs.

So with this madam's dazzling fashion display, maybe she is exploiting or better still, exploring her youthfulness, like maybe some of those things she never did when she was in her teens or younger age, now with a good opportunity given, why not do it all? And who says she shouldn't wear such an eye wear, if she has the confidence to carry it? Anyway, any how one can bring attention to Anambra State is a good way, so we think.

At the end of the day, the Gucci Limited Edition EyeMask is just a mere 1plus million Naira at $2755 to N365, a chicken 🐔 feed to Madam First Lady. Why would anyone dare to want to see the eye of a goddess?

Kudos!!!

PRESIDENT GEORGE WEAH OF LIBERIA AND THAT OMOSEDE IGBINEDION QUESTION!!!

Hon. Omosede Igbinedion

Mr George Tawlon Manneh Opong Weah incoming President of Liberia

Minds have since gone into overdrive with the thoughts of maybe or maybe not whether the incoming first lady of the Republic of Liberia that former gem blessed West African country where the late leader for life Samuel Doe and the convicted criminal Charles Taylor reigned supreme for several years, would be a Nigerian?

Not only are the thoughts centred on whether the 1st lady would be a Nigerian, but whether it would be that most eligible of bacholorettes and mother of one from Benin in Edo State in the person of Honourable Omosede Igbinedion, the big boned daughter of the Great Esama of Benin, a member of the House of representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and younger sister of the former Governor of the same state in the person of Lucky Igbinedion!

For those who might not have known, the incoming Liberian President, Mr. George Tawlon Manneh Opong Weah, who was an award winning and very celebrated footballer, in fact he was so renowned then, that he became a world's best then (the only African till date to have gotten the accolades), winning the Ballon D'or and World Footballer of the year in his hey days, where he played for the likes of Monaco, Marseille, PSG, AC Milan, Manchester City and Chelsea amongst several clubs. Mr Weah was a major item with OMOSEDE then.

Both were said to have loved each other wondrously and enjoyed each others company so much then that, why the relationship didn't end in marriage still baffles everyone. According to those that knew both together they were so in sync, that what should have happened then was for both to have become a Mr & Mrs, but alas that never happened, but they both still remained best of buddies, supporting each other and celebrating each others achievements as they happen.

Thereafter their whirlwind relationship ended then, Omosede went on to marry the Benin Prince-Prince Akenzua in a wedding of the season event, but that celebrated marriage didn't last more than 2 years. Both husband and wife have since gone their separate ways, though they both have one son between them, who himself was a subject of some form of controversy at his school at the tail end of last year caused by his doting mom.

So now that Mr. WEAH is the incoming President of Liberia and with the way the former Princess Omosede Akenzua now back to her maiden name of Hon. Omosede Igbinedion celebrated and sang to high heavens that awesome achievement, many are thinking whether the love between the 2 unrepentant lovebirds might have been ignited massively again and that maybe it's no more as platonic a relationship as it had become after they both parted ways and that maybe Omosede might rival the Jamaican wife & mother of the kids of the retired footballer now President to be, to become the new 1st lady of Liberia.

Would that be the case? We await to see how it would all pan out at the end of the day.

AMBODE’S WIFE PRESENTS GIFTS TO FIRST BABIES OF 2018

...Says Routine Immunization, Post-Natal Care Critical For Newborn

Wife of Lagos State Governor, Mrs Bolanle on Monday underscored the importance of routine immunization and post-natal care for the survival and growth of newborns, saying it was important for nursing mothers to pay greater attention to the health of their children.

She also advised expectant mothers in the State to justify government’s huge investment in maternal and infant health care by staying away from quacks and patronizing government’s health care facilities.

Speaking while presenting gifts to first babies of the year at three General Hospitals in the State, Mrs Ambode said just like the new year, the birth of a new baby brings hope, and such was why adequate care must be accorded newborns.

According to her, "The arrival of a new born generally symbolizes passing the baton to the next generation. In our culture as in many others, a new baby is a messenger of hope, indicating good fortune for the family and society.

"From the depths of my heart, I congratulate and rejoice with the happy parents. As I do so however, I wish to emphasize that post-natal care of the baby is just as important as the ante-natal.

"Therefore, mothers must take all necessary steps to ensure the well-being and good health of their babies. These include strict obedience of instructions of the medical personnel, as well as good care and attention to themselves," she said.

The wife of the Governor specifically urged nursing mothers to take advantage of the primary healthcare centres provided by the State Government to ensure full complement of routine immunization for their children, and as well make good use of family planning.

Mrs Ambode said she was aware of the fact that the present administration in the State placed high premium on health issues especially maternal and infant health, saying that as part of contribution to health sector, the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO), a group which she chaired, provided high dependency units, neonatal care units, and other medical equipment and resources to enhance the quality of maternal and child care services, assuring that more would be done in 2018.

She also commended the health family in the State for the progressive improvement in health service delivery to the people, just as she appreciated corporate donors, philanthropists and Non-Governmental Organizations for their support.

"We also commend the unitring commitment of this administration to continous infrastructure upgrade, provision of modern equipment and human resource development in the health sector," Mrs Ambode said.

In his remarks, Commissioner for Health, Dr Jide Idris said the event was symbolic being the first activity of government in the year and also exemplifying the priority given to healthcare delivery in the State.

He assured that with the exemplary leadership of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, the State Government would continue to stimulate the required quality of health service delivery that is poised to address existing health gaps as well as challenges that might emerge in future.

Besides, Idris urged the people to embrace healthy lifestyle, refrain from excessive alcohol, smoking and ensure their environment is clean.

Also, Chairman, Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Health, Hon Segun Olulada called for strengthening of the referral system to reduce pressure on General Hospitals, saying people should imbibe the culture of first visiting Primary Healthcare centres which have been repositioned in the State.

He expressed optimism that the State Health Insurance Scheme billed to start this year will expand access to healthcare.

The hospitals visited by the First Lady are Ikorodu General Hospital, Gbagada General Hospital and Lagos Island Maternity Hospital.

At Ikorodu, the first babies were twins delivered at 12:23am and 12:24am weighing 2.9kg and 3.29kg respectively, while at Gbagada the first baby weighing 3.4kg delivered at 1:05am. At Island Maternity, the first baby was delivered at 12:05am and she weighed 3.3kg.

Mother’s packs, baby essentials and other baby gifts were presented to the babies and their parents and other babies in the ward by the wife of the Governor.

The programme is held annually in Lagos State to celebrate the first baby born in the state.

OSODIEME OBIANO DOING THE AYO FAYOSE STYLE- WHEN TAKING ELECTIONEERING TO THE ABSURD!

Her Excellency, Madam Osodieme Ebele Obiano, the 1st lady of Anambra State is surely a good wife, why have we said that?

If we are to judge strictly on the basis of her wanting to help her husband the "Executive Governor of Anambra Chief Willie OBIANO" to retain his mandate to rule the good people of Anambra State for the 2nd time, then her "antics", (especially using the style of Peter Ayodele Fayose to hoodwink the people) at "electioneering campaign" then can be easily excused.

Imagine the Anambra State 1st lady deciding to ride around on an Okada (bike) looking grossly uncomfortable as a way to endear herself to the people and make them seemingly feel she's one of them!

If it was something she does often it would have been great, but to now embark on subterfuge for election reason to us is a gross mockery! Bad aspect of it was that the discomfort was etched on her face glaringly!

We particularly love her husband and wouldn't want them to take this thing now, to the mundane level.

AISHA BABANGIDA SET TO RELAUNCH BETTER LIFE FOR RURAL WOMEN

Is the eldest child and 1st daughter of former Military President of Nigeria & self-styled evil genius, General IB Babangida gearing up for elections in the near future? Or is it that the gorgeous twice married one wants to forever immortalize her mom's name through the pet project that used to be so close to her hearts?

Either or not, we hear that Aisha Babangida has decided to resurrect and resuscitate her late beloved mom's pet project, the Better Life For Rural Women Project. The project that was launched in most states of the Federation when the late Maryam Babangida's husband was still in power, was initiated to help mitigate the sufferings of the less privileged in the society then.

Knowing fully well the power of charity, it might be the opportunity for the former first daughter and 1st lady to get into the hearts of the less privilege and therefore get their support when the time comes.

Date for the relaunch has not been fixed or revealed, but as soon as we hear anything or get an update, we would bring it to our readers purview.

WHEN PATIENCE JONATHAN VISITED ABUJA'S 1ST BABY OF 2013

The particular new born baby is sure a lucky one, as it's not an everyday affair that the wife of a ruling president would pay a random visit to a new born.

So yesterday Tuesday, January 1, 2012, the first lady of Nigeria, Madam Patience Jonathan was at the National Hospital, Abuja, the FCT to welcome officially Abuja's first baby of 2013. The bouncing baby boy, now named Oluwanifemi, came into the world at 12:10am, weighing a very healthy 4.13kg. The boy was delivered at the famous hospital via caesarian section.

The first lady who visited the hospital to congratulate the mother on her new bundle of joy, later presented to the elated mother, Kikelomo Badejo, a first baby of the year certificate , advising the mother to bring up the child in the fear of the Lord.
