 Better late than never at all. This particular Loud and Proud concert series held at the Soul Lounge of the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The main feature was Ice-Prince Zamani and all other friends in the industry came to give support. The likes of Dr. Sid, Eva Alordiah, Sound Sultan, May D, Reminisce, Emma Nyra and many others were in attendance.

 A new Pan African entertainment magazine, High Flyers HF for short was launched last weekend Sunday, September 8, 2013 to loads and loads of fanfare. The all colour, all gloss affair is set to kick some ass in the media atmosphere judging by their first publication and the launch party. 

The editor of the new and exciting 100 page publication is none other than the former editor of Beauty Box Magazine, one of the award winning publications, published by the owners of Hint Magazine & Complete Fashion Magazine, in the person of Akudo Abengowe. 

The very fun & beautiful launch party was at the new watering hole of the happening crowd on the Island, Rhapsody's on Agoro Odiyan, Victoria Island, Lagos just next to Larry Onuegbu's Cafe Vanessa. 

Master of the ceremony at the event was Tee A and he was ably supported by Maria the gorgeous OAP at Beat99.9FM. The cover of the first edition has award winning rapstar, the very dapper Ice-Prince Zamani sharing the spotlight with Nse Clifford-Sule. Also featured in the very bumper first edition is the head honcho of Megaletrics Ltd Chris Ubosi, the owners of Beat 99.9 FM, Classic 97.3 FM, Naija FM 102.7, 3 of some of the best indigenous radio stations in Nigeria. It also features the incredibly talented DJ Zeez, yes remember 'Fokasibe' and many other club bangers. All these features and so much more.

For a first edition, we must give them a big dose of kudos for a great job well done. We were on ground to cover the magazine launch and got a few pictures for your viewing pleasure.

Having lost out to Wizkid and Sarkodie last year, Ice Prince showed his staying power by beating former winner and fellow Nigerian 2FACE Idibia, Toya Delazy (South Africa), Donald (South Africa), R2Bees (Ghana) and Radio and Weasel (Uganda).

The hot trio of Naija DJs join 2face (@2faceidibia), Davido (@iam_Davido), Ice Prince (@Iceprincezamani), and Professor (@professorkalawa) at the all-star gig which will hold at The Marquee, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos.

YVONNE NWOSU & ICE PRINCE BREAK-UP?

There supposed love affair was celebrated to high heavens very recently on the pages of online platforms. It was like a perfect love match of 2 artists, one a celebrated music artist, signed on to Chocolate City, where MI & Jesse Jegz are also label mates. While Yvonne Nwosu, is the celebrated upcoming designer, who is the creative director at Vonne Couture. 

The love relationship was so hot!hot!! that the lovers didn't give a hoot anyone knowing. Yvonne especially didn't mind the whole world knowing, as she openly showed off the affair on her instagram page, telling whoever cared to know, to eat their heart out. Now after only a few weeks, something seem to have changed, the once burgeoning love, might have since hit the rock, at least judging by a tweet from Yvonne very recently, where she stated ''I' m single, sexy and loving it!!! A new Ken for this Barbie...Maybe..

Some keen observers who had watched the supposed love relationship develop, had thought from the word go it wasn't planned to last, the people had thought it was just a passing phase for the 2, now that it seemed to have hit the rock, many are now saying they were right from the word go. 

According to the little snippets we were able to get, Yvonne might have thought to let go of the love, so as to focus more on her 1st love, which is designing. For Ice-Prince, it might just be the story of another one bites the dust, so its on to the next for him.

One of Nigeria's best entertainers right now, the one & only Ice Prince, had his birthday very recently. We weren't there though we were invited, but we were able to get some of the pictures of the birthday shindig for your viewing delight.  The Chocolate City star has had a fabulous few years and he is still garnering more and more awards as the day goes by. Loads of his friends and colleagues were in attendance- AKON, Banky W, MI, Jesse Jegz, Wande Coal, DJ Zeez, Naeto C, Wizkid, W4, Dr SID, Vector, Bizzle Osikoya, May D, Brymo, Lynxxx, Iyanya and loads of others. According to report Champagne popped like it was going out of fashion. Happy belated birthday from us.

UTI, ICE PRINCE, MO'CHEDDAH OTHERS STORM MTV MEETS WITH MTN SEASON 2 LAUNCH

MTV launched a new season of the hit show MTV Meets with MTN at a special media event on Sunday June 17, 2012.
With guests including Ice Prince, Mocheddah, Kola Oyeyemi, Uti, Jerrilyn, Bobo Omotayo, Lala Akindoju and Alex Okosi, the event featured highlights from the last season as well as some footage from the forthcoming season.
The audience - made up of reporters, media executives, opinion influencers, celebrities, business leaders and government officials, had a fun evening, with drinks, and canapés, spiced with the kind of conversations that MTV Meets is all about...
