AFTER PUBLICLY GRANDSTANDING EX-SENATE PRESIDENT DR. BUKOLA SARAKI NOW PLEADS & PREFERS OUT OF COURT SETTLEMENT ON THE DEMOLISHED ILE-ARUGBO

The Government of the day in Kwara State led by his excellency Governor Abdulraman AbdulRazaq, have been consistent in their assertion that the land upon which Ile-Arugbo was built by the Saraki clan was illegally (inappropriately) acquired and so has no proper documentation. But the Saraki clan led by the former Senate President of Nigeria, who was also a 2 termed Governor of the state have been claiming otherwise, that the land was properly acquired by them, but in truth have never been able to show any proper documentation to affect their claim.

So in the aftermath of the so called illegal and hasty demolition of the place as claimed by the Sarakis, as government of the day had gone ahead to lay claim to what actually belongs to her, in order to restore order and actually build on the land what it was actually earmarked for, the Saraki clan had done what was thought to be the best and most appropriate in the situation, which was them instituting a court case to get damages for the perceived slight and illegality meted on them.

But alas, against all the expected  legal fireworks from them to show that the Government had done them bad and that it was a personal vendetta that was carried out against them as claimed and therefore it was an illegal process that was carried out against them, they have now instead pleaded for an out of court settlement instead, in the place of their former grandstanding, which they had first adopted.

The thing is, if you were openly accused of perpetuating a glaring illegality and you have proof contrary to such flagrant accusations, wouldn't you be too happy to make your opponent look stupid by biting the dust? So it has now been found out as revealed by the court officials, that the only document that the Saraki Clan actually submitted to buttress their claim of ownership of the disputed land was only a mere letter of allocation without any other documents, like either a right of occupancy or even a  certificate of occupancy! How then do you lay claim to the land, a whole you that was a law maker at the highest level possible?

Even the mere letter of allocation itself had 90 days moratorium from the date it was issued for the conditions stated therein to have been met and that was since 2005 and even with that nothing was done.

So now we all understand that they actually had no case from the get go and that they were just rabble rousing to get sympathy.

BAMZE IS SET TO GO HOME, COME MAY 14, 2019 IN LONDON. RIP!!!!!

His friends, family members and associates are still reeling from the shock of his untimely demise. It happened so suddenly that many are still in disbelief till tomorrow. Young man in his 40s, supposedly healthy and doing well, only to sleep and never woke up again.

In his short, but eventful stay on earth, he was a gallant soldier. He came, saw and did his best to conquer but alas, his very best wasn't good enough. He lost the battle to death just last month and it came via, 'Cardiac Arrest'.  Cardiac what???? We all should endeavor to take care of our health and take notice of the tell tale signs, just in case. To think we are too young to die and that we live a healthy life is not just enough anymore. A stitch in time they say, saves nine.

So after the autopsy was done and it confirmed CA, the family have thought not to waste time, keeping his body unnecessarily in the morgue. So come this month of May in London, the body of Emmanuel Babatunde Bamigboye aka Bamze, not his soul nor his spirit which loves forever, would be committed to mother earth. Till we meet again on the day of his resurrection.

He would be missed by so so many people, most especially his immediate family of wife- Tosin and her 2 kids-Zabethy and Bolatide, 14 & 10 respectively.

Bamze was born 27th of July 1974, meaning that had death permitted, he would have clocked 45 in just 2 months time. But alas, the grim reaper had other plans and snatched in him in a cold and cruel manner on 12th of April, 2019, turning that day immediately to a dark, joyless day for all those who knew the gangly gentleman of a guy. Who was just too generous to a fault.

Bamze went to Command Children's School, Ikeja, Lagos. Had his secondary education at Command Secondary School, Ipaja and was an Alumni of the University of Ilorin (BSc Business Administration).

See the whole arrangement below.

AND WE HAVE LOST OUR FRIEND EMMANUEL BABATUNDE BAMIGBOYE. AS HE DIED IN HIS SLEEP IN LONDON.

What can we say? Fact is, we are actually lost for words and that's just the truth. We have tried to rationalize it, that maybe it was for the best, but how can the untimely death of a 44 year old, seemingly healthy man be easily explained & be for the best? How does one go to his family to say sorry? What kind of sorry is that? That nuisance called death just did her worst again, leaving tears and anguish in her wake. What a shame!!!!

Bamze is gone leaving his beautiful and very loving wife Tosin and her 2 wonderful kids behind only to hold on to memories of the great and wonderful times in past. Now all their hopes are seated on God strictly, as the man of the house is gone forever, at least till the day of his resurrection.

What a sad loss!!! But why Bamze? Why did you yield so easily? You could have at least fought much harder, if not for anything at least for the sake of the many many that loved you. You looked strong so strong like the Iroko or oak tree while alive. Your height of 6 ft plus and your booming voice could be intimidating, but you were a gentle giant of a man.. But alas, you giant yielded and some would claim that it was peacefully in your sleep, due to cardiac arrest! What a loss!!!

Our paths crossed several years ago at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State. You were the tall, handsome, cool dude who was always very well put together and was always good fun to have around. Knew your brother Victor long before we met. Had heard about your brother Femi Mora, who was a known stylish dude of that time, so when you came one had expectations and you didn't disappoint at all. I remember jamming you again by chance in London at that restaurant where I had gone to pick up my abula (amala and ewedu plus gbegiri), you were still yourself even as prior to that time I hadn't seen you for a very long time, since we left Ilorin and you relocated to London.

Emmanuel Babatunde Bamigboye adieu. It was only just late last year that your dad, who was the 1st military Governor of Kwara State, Retired General Theophilus Bamigboye passed on. Now after just 5 months or so that he was buried, you too has gone on that journey of no return. You would be sorely missed oooooo. Your kids Zabethy & Bolatide would miss you loads.

Bamze's remains would be buried in the next few weeks in London as soon as his family agree on a reasonable date. We would just want to use this opportunity and medium to commiserate with his entire family members, friends and colleagues. May the soul of the dearly departed find rest. And may God give all and sundry, the strength and fortitude to bear this untimely loss.

Salute Bamze!!
Till we meet again on the day of your resurrection.

ABDULRAHAMAN ABDULRAZAQ OF THE APC WINS BY NEARLY 3 ATIMES THE VOTE OF RAZAK ATUNWA.

Abdulrahaman AbdulRazaq

The final nail was hammered in with ferocity, in Kwara State on the political career of the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki as the last vestige of his influence was extinguished & expunged as the results of the Gubernatorial election and state House of assembly elections have finally come but still awaiting final ratification and declaration by the official umpire, the INEC.

From the results from all of the 16 local government areas of the state declared, the ruling party, that's the PDP were summarily pulverized, nearly annihilated and unimaginably pummelled to submission with no answers whatsoever. Though there was unexpected voter apathy, those who still came out, voted massively for the APC giving the new bride of the people, Abdulrahaman AbdulRazaq as much as 331,546 votes in all against the paltry 114,754 for Hon. Razak Atunwa of the PDP, with the APC winning with as much a margin as 216,792 votes. The total vote of the APC nearly tripling that of the PDP, it was a humbling of the meanest order.

With the outstanding win, which some would tag a landslide by Alhaji Abdulrahaman AbdulRazaq of the APC, a new dawn has been ushered in, in Kwara State and every hold of Saraki on power in the state has now been wiped out. It's like it's a totally new beginning, a new dawn. What that actually says then, should be a lesson for everyone, to never ever forget that in politics, especially in a democracy your power lies in the people and their support, once you have lost them and they find an alternative to you, then you are a goner.

And that's a lesson also for the Governor designate too, Alhaji Abdulrahaman AbdulRazaq that he had better be with the people and have them as his top priority or else in 4 years to come too, he himself could become another has been. This is so because the people have now come to understand that the power lies with them.

Congratulations to the winner and to the entire Kwara people. May all your wishes and desires come true.

WOULD THE OTO GE (ENOUGH IS ENOUGH) TSUNAMI SWEEP OFF RAZAK ATUNWA'S AMBITION TO RULE KWARA STATE?

Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki

Razak Atunwa

Abdulrahaman AbdulRazaq

A major whirlwind or better still hurricane Oto ge (it's enough) or should we even call it Tsunami of unprecedented power swept through Kwara State some days back and in the aftermath of her move, the PDP structure in the State, led by its leader, the outgoing Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki and others holding Senatorial positions like him and even those that were in the lower house before and those in his party who wanted to go to the lower house were all swept away and dumped on their asses.

The defeat was totally unprecedented and embarrassing. And just because of the manner and way that defeat came, the PDP structure in the state, that had been brimming with over confidence before, have since been suffering from jitters! Now with the upset and removal of Saraki, would the Tsunami momentum continue as the Gubernatorial election in the state beckons?

Prior to the Presidential and Federal house of assembly elections, those who had been watching Kwara politics keenly had thought that both the APC and the PDP had a 50-50 chance of coming tops at the up coming election, to pick who would rule the state for another 4 years. Although prior to the Tsunami that swept through the state and caused a major avalanche, many had given the ruling party a slight chance above the APC of nicking it, maybe because people gave them the strength based on the power of incumbency. With the state Governor being a PDP person to the core and the supposed strongman of Politics in the state, in the person of Senator Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki being a PDP man, many had thought the PDP in the state had a slight advantage above all others. But the supposed advantage came to nought at the last election and the loss has totally demystified whatever hold Saraki and cohorts seem to have on his people. And so the advantage they seemed to have had before which gave them some confidence has since been lost! If the leader couldn't win his own election in a much smaller area, can he then lead his boy to win his in an election that would cover the whole state?

So now that the Gubernatorial election is upcoming in only a week and the PDP aspirant/contestant Atunwa is a known protégé of Dr. Bukola Saraki, how would their well known relationship, affect the chances of Hon. Razak Atunwa, Saraki's political son in whom he is well pleased, especially as the people of the state seem to want to totally cut off and dissociate themselves from anything that has to do with the Saraki political dynasty in Kwara? Is their brotherhood or connection an advantage or a disadvantage now?

So are we expecting a easy ride for the APC Aspirant, Abdulrahaman AbdulRazaq? We doubt it. Though the PDP were dazed before to near comatose level. The 2 weeks interval between the elections has given the PDP, the opportunity to close ranks quickly and to correct their self inflicted mistakes. Saraki himself would be doing all he can in his power now to make sure he isn't totally disgraced out of power. This would be Operation let's at least save face small. So overconfidence on the part of the APC, could become their Achilles heel, if care is not taken. Just like the PDP in Lagos are trying to throw all they can, spanners, screw-driver, nails etc to clog and stop the wheel of progress in Lagos, the PDP in Kwara state, would literally do all that is humanly possible to up turn that Tsunami that has swept through their state. So we should await a very keenly fought election battle, come March 9, 2019.

Who would win though at the end? Looking through our crystal ball, we see a new order being ushered into the state. There's a man for the job and the people of the state already knows who that is...... Major thing is, no one can ever take the state and her people for granted no more!!!!

KWARA STATE GEARS UP FOR A MASSIVE BATTLE COME 2019 GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION.

Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq

Hon. Razak Atunwa

Prince Ayorinde Adedoyin

Wow wow wow. While the election in Lagos is seen as a big battle between the APC's own Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu and PDP's own Jimi 'JK' Agbaje. Oyo's battle would be between APC's former CBN deputy Governor and PDP's own Seyi Makinde, the battle in Kwara is three pronged and it promises to be epic by all accounts as the 3 aspirants representing the 3 most visible political parties in the state are heavy, heavyweights by all accounts. Not only are they very visible, the trio are also moneybags by any account you'll want to judge it by.

On the side of the APC, you have the one and only Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, a billionaire businessman oil magnate now turned politician. He at the last election gave the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki a major scare at the Kwara Central Senatorial election. And there's no love lost between the 2. When Saraki jumped ship to the APC back then, Abdulrasaq immediately moved out of APC & moved over to the PDP. Just as soon as Saraki again jumped ship to the PDP from the APC, Abdulrasaq immediately dusted himself again and moved out of the PDP back to the APC with about 120000 supporters.  The 50 plus year old moneybag, with major investments in oil and gas and others, is the founder of First Fuels and is not a neophyte at all in the political terrain of Kwara State. He would love to have one over Saraki at all cost, as he believed that he won against him the last time.

To become the flag bearer of the APC in Kwara State, the very intelligent businessman, sports enthusiast cum politician dusted all other contenders by polling 29098 votes against Alhaji Yammah Abdullahi who came 2nd and polled 22116 votes. AA as he is referred to by a lot of people has the resources and wherewithal in abundance (a moneybag per excellence) to prosecute his ambition to a favourable conclusion. His younger sister is the popular Senator Khairat Abdulrazaq Gwadabe. What he has going for him apart from age, he his just 58, is that he has a proven wealth of experience in the private sector in creating wealth. His business forays has him having investments as far as Cote D'ivoire. He is the founder and sponsor of Abuja FC. From our findings, there's an unprecedented groundswell of ever rising support for him to win the election. In fact the elite and others prefer him far above every other aspirant for the job.

Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, is one of the well to do kids of the first ever lawyer from Northern Nigeria. His dad Alhaji A.G.F Abdulrazaq a renowned jurist was also a prominent Minister in the 1st Republic.

In the race to the Ahmadu Bello Way Governor's office also is another very formidable personality by name Hon. Razak Atunwa. A super intelligent lawyer and Lawmaker, who since he returned to Nigeria and Kwara State has been very much involved in Governance as it concerns politics in Kwara State. His bio for a 48 year old is quite staggering and impressive.

He knows his beloved Kwara State inside and out as he has been part of the Governance in the state for quite a bit, which is a major plus for him. He was a commissioner over many different portfolios-finance, land and housing, information, works & transportation, in Kwara State from 2005 till 2011, that's all of 7 years, before he was elected into the State House of Assembly KWHA where he went on to become the speaker of the house from 2011 till 2015, for 5 years after which when he ran for the House of Representative and won to represent Asa/Ilorin West at the House (so that's at least 15 years experience in Governance). It is from the lower House now that he contested the Governorship Primary of the PDP which he won to represent the Party now at the next election.

He is a very strong ally of Dr. Bukola Saraki under who he was the Commissioner. He had got his law degree both LLB and LLM in London and was called to the bar also on London too. In fact according to the gist he was brought back from London by the late Dr Olusola Saraki, where at a point he was said to have been cab driver to help fund his education. There's the little controversy though about where he is from in Ilorin, for no one has ever been able to pinpoint his supposed family house in Ilorin. His strong connect with the Saraki political family may either be positive or negative for him in the long run.

The last but not the least personality by no means is none other than the 'Prince of Agbamu' himself, "Prince Ayorinde Adedoyin". Prince Ayorinde has thought to tread a totally different path to achieve his aim. He would be riding on the back of the Accord Party towards the goal. But to talk about this quintessential good dude and Philanthropist per excellence, we would first talk about his father, the super wealthy industrialist, Sir Samuel Adedoyin of the Doyin Groups Fame. The old man's story is the stuff dreams are made of. The old man now in his 80s rose from grass, the very last rung by the dint of hard work and providence to grace. He owns a vast conglomerate that includes industries and vast property portfolio and other investments. Ayorinde Adedoyin is his 1st son and the highly connected young man by every standard, is not a pushover at all too by any means.

By the grace of God, the man in his early 50s whose late elder sister was a former Health Minister and a Lawmaker, that's Hon. Funke Adedoyin till she recently passed on, has really done extremely well for himself too in business. Not one to sit on his oars, believing that wealth has already been made and then all he needs to do, is to run his father's vast business and that's it. But as soon as he finished school he immediately branched out and began to chart his own path immediately, by setting up his own firms which are variously into maritime, oil and gas, logistics, aviation, real estate and hospitality, all under the umbrella of a holding company Peacegate Group. Peace Gate group is a successful multifaceted company by all standards. He has going for him, very excellent private sector experience.

His passion for Kwara State is enveloping. The Prince of Agbamu believes so much that not even a quarter of the endowment of his beloved Kwara have been exploited. And like he preaches at every turn, that his ambition is not a do or die one, just that he wants to serve his beloved state to the best of his abilities. He has come in as a new star, not on the old beaten track of the APC or PDP, but as a real alternative from the Accord Party!!!

So from the looks of things, this would be a 3-pronged battle ROYALE, a major slamdunk 2019 event!!!!! Who would carry the day eventually! !!

HAJIA BOLA SHAGAYA PREPARES 1ST SON FOR POLITICAL OFFICE

HAJIA BOLA MUINAT SHAGAYA
HAJIA BOLA SHAGAYA & DAME PATIENCE JONATHAN
SHERIFF SHAGAYA
If by God's grace all the permutations and calculations work out like it is been planned, then come 2015 the first son of multimillionaire Kwara strong woman, Hajia Bola Muinat Shagaya, in the person of Sheriff Shagaya might become one of the Honourable members of Federal House of Representatives in Abuja, the FCT, in Nigeria. This House of Representatives dream is only a first part of the blue-print, with the ultimate dream being the Governorship come 2019.

According to the little we could gather, Hajia Bola Shagaya has begun the actualization of her very well laid plans in earnest and she's leaving no stone unturned to perfect these plans. The defection of the former Governor of the State, in the person of Senator Bukola Saraki & by extension that of the incumbent Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed and their supporters from the PDP is said to have even made things a lot easier for madam to initiate the 1st part of her plans. Madam has since then assumed the topmost position as the de facto boss of the PDP in Kwara State, one of the ways through which she feels would make it easier for her to actualize her plans. Also coupled with the kind of influence she now has, as a very close friend of the first lady and the promise she's said to have made of delivering Kwara State back to the PDP at all cost, all things being equal her plans might work out.
