SENAMI SOSU-IBORI WHEN LOYALTY IS MORE THAN GOLDEN!

Chief James Onanefe Ibori & Sename Sosu-Ibori

Can it be described as a typical story or case of from obscurity to prominence? Or better still from grass to grace? However one wants to read it, the erstwhile mistress of former Governor of Delta State and ex-felon Chief Onanefe James Ibori, in the person of Sename Sosu has come a long way and for her extreme loyalty above all, in the face of everything else, she's now the one smiling daily and occupying the position of the better half, of the supremely rich and highly celebrated Oghara Chieftain.

Forget that outlook which makes it look like, Chief James Ibori is still trying to get to grips with things after his long absence due to incarceration. For those who might not know or believe it, even while he was in jail in far away London, he was still wielding absolute power in the runnings and the affairs of the state he once governed, even as we speak.

All the while that he was embattled and was facing many obstacles and battles which tried his resilience to the outermost, which saw to it that many of those who had seemingly pretended to be loyal to him before, dropped him like bad habit, thinking he was done for, some despite all the insults, mud etc stayed put and one of those extreme loyalists was Sename, who prior to the misfortune that came James Ibori's way was just a "favoured mistress".

So the time of trial came, and the man of the house, from his high padestal, who was at a point one of the major kingmakers in the affairs of the country, was brought down to the lowest of the low, to a point where he became a runaway fugitive who was captured in another country Dubai, UAE and as a criminal shipped to another country London, UK to be tried and subsequently jailed.

All through this dark times, while everyone else ran, it was only this mistress that stayed, waiting, till her hero and knight with a tainted armour should come back to her! 

"Loyalty is Action without question", at least that's according to the very famous "Camila Mendoza" in the Series- "Queen of the South" that very popular series on TV. And like she said it, one person that has proven her loyalty via her actions is none other than the now new wife of the ex-convict and former Governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori, in the person of Sename.

The powerhouse of Oghara, whose political sagacity is still Immensely measured in Delta State politics is one person that doesn't forget loyalty to him, especially that type well proven by actions. While many of his ladies who he was there for then, when all was great and rosy abandoned him in his time of great need, when he was incarcerated and things looked very bleak, like there was no light at the end of the tunnel, one angel stood by him despite it all and saw that time as a only a little blip. She kept the homestead okay and well till he came back many years later.

After all of that experience, Chief James Ibori who has since returned back to the warm embrace of his people and the woman who kept it together all through the stress, has rewarded that extreme loyalty so it seems by making her his wife, his jewel of inestimable value.

We do not know particularly whem the rites were performed or if they have been performed at all, all we know for now is that Sename Sosu is now referred to as Mrs. James Onanefe Ibori. "Love it seems as conquered all, after all".
