GOVERNORS VISIT SULLIVAN CHIME

In order to douse the unnecessary tension created by Governor Sullivan Chime's prolonged absence from work,  a few of his colleagues paid him a visit recently. Those who did were the Governors of Akwa-Ibom, Benue & Rivers States, Godswill Akpabio, Gabriel Suswan & Rotimi Amaechi respectively. The snow in the background atleast shows it is a recent picture. 

The aftermath of the visit atleast to show that he is alive and (well) is the picture above. 

Now if pictures don't lie, we know he is alive, so what's keeping him away from his office? It's going to 5 months already now.  And what's the true situation of his health? One would have thought that if the weight of governance is too much on his health or well-being, then the honourable thing to do, who have been to resign. That would have given him enough time and energy to heal. Apart from that even if he stills needs to get back to the hospital, his state would still have to take care of his medical bills. So what's the fear about? Or is it that, there is no one else in the whole of Enugu State, capable of running the State, except Governor Chime?

ENUGU'S STATE GOVERNMENT DEBUNKS THE SULLIVAN CHIME'S DEATH HOAX

Finally a response has come from the Enugu State Government officials that His Excellency the Governor is not dead, contrary to the rumours flying about. All through the weekend, there were reports going about that the handsome, 53 years old Governor might have passed on at an Indian hospital after being ill for several months. The rumours were somehow believable because the Governor himself had been absent for quite a while now from state affairs and has also being totally incommunicado. 

In order to put everyone's mind at rest, the state Commissioner for Information, Mr. Chuks Ugwuoke, finally came out to debunk the so called death hoax. Mr. Commissioner went on to say that the dear Governor was hale and hearty and would soon be returning to the state from his long vacation. The reports on his death was tagged unfounded and malicious. Meaning all was a figment of the imagination of some terrible people and most probably enemies of peace in the state. 

Curiously no mention was made on the particular whereabouts of the Governor,(whether he is in London/America etc), also no mention was made on his health condition, if he was ill as was first reported several weeks ago and has now recovered sufficiently well. All that was said was that he is doing well and set to return home soon from vacation.

We wish His Excellency well and we are hoping he would be arriving home very soon, after his accumulated vacation.

WHERE IS GOVERNOR SULLIVAN CHIME?

Just only this afternoon, there was the news everywhere that there had been an Helicopter crash, in Nember, Bayelsa State. On that flight were the Governor of Kaduna State, the former NSA, General Andrew Owoye Aziza,Rtd and 4 others. Report said the Helicopter had left Bayelsa enroute Port-Harcourt when the sad occurrence happened. The helicopter was said to have busted into flames immediately.  As at a few minutes ago, the rescue team sent after the crash had located the crashed helicopter and all 6 occupants found dead. Bodies have been deposited at the mortuary. While many were still grappling with this very sad news. 

There is the rumour also, that the health situation of the Governor of Enugu, His Excellency, Mr. Sullivan Chime, might have nose dived. The unconfirmed rumours even went ahead to say he might have passed on in India. Since, the Governor has been away from the public eye for a while now, due to what some have said was poor health, one cannot say for a fact, if the rumours are a total falsehood or that someone might be saying the truth. According to someone we got in contact with, the Governor is said to be hale and hearty in London. 

We are hoping that the 53 years old Governor one way or the other, would come out and show to the world, that the rumours are all lies and a figment of the imaginations of some terrible people. While waiting for that to be done. We commiserate with the families of all those who died as a result of the helicopter crash in Bayelsa today. May their souls RIP!!!!!!!!!
