It was a fun, eclectic and gorgeous gathering at the launch of Designs by Rehabiah a couple of weeks ago on the Island at the fashion house flagship on Durosinmi Etti Street, Lekki Phase 1. For those who might not know, the label caters to the the fun loving, the very stylish, the trendy, plus sized ladies. 


The creative Director like most people already know, is the very stylish Tope Olagbegi, who also owns the very successful Interior Decor brand Sixth Sense, known by everyone via their orange butterfly logo, that most people see emblazoned on the back of most cars around. 

Many of the guests and the media personalities that graced the occasion were overwhelmingly impressed by what they saw. Over 200 very trendy and stylish outfits, all very well finished and locally made to the best international standards that one can think of and strictly for the plus sized ladies. By plus sized we mean starting size is from 12 upwards.

Come Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 3pm at their flagship office located at 18, Durosinmi Etti Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos Tope Olagbegi's new baby Designs by Rehabiah is going to be launched to a very load bang and ovation. 

Designs by Rehabiah is the first of its kind couture house totally dedicated to the very stylish and plus sized ladies, who hitherto had not found it easy getting very well made and stylish outfits from size 12 upwards, that would highlight their positives, while down playing their short comings.  

So come this Sunday, the guests and all those that would come to the event would see real life, plus sized ladies walking down the runway in outfits by designs by Rehabiah. There would be not less than 250 outfits available for classy, the stylish and the up to date ladies to pick from.

We recently had a peek into some of the collections that would be launched in March (collections like the butterfly, the samurai, the boyfriend etc) and we couldn't just believe our eyes. The richness of the fabrics used, the finishing and detailing, the colour mix and the effect of the super luxe collection on the wearer just brings out the very best in them. 

According to the little gist we were able to put together, at least close to 200 exquisite designs if not more would be made available on the day of the launch.

SIXTH SENSE OPENS NEW FLAGSHIP ON THE ISLAND......

The brand is one of the premier interior decorating companies in Lagos. Some even say it is one of the top 5 best ones in Nigeria. With several branches dotted around Lagos. At a point, there was a branch at Keffi, Ikoyi, then there was the massive one at Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island that got razed by fire, there was also a branch at Victoria Arobieke, in Lekki Phase 1 which has been shut down now,  there is the very big one in Gbagada, just across the brand spanking new massive auditorium of the Deeper Life Church.
