  2. A 42 year old getting married elaborately. Can't people just marry privately and live happily ever after? Instead of involving the public who can cause scandals.

    1. It says anonymous but from the way you sound, you are a Nigerian, if someone looking for the fruit of the womb for 25 years and finally got one can celebrate, what's stops a 42 years old from getting married elaborately. It's time the change start from an average Nigerians mind.

It is none of your business or are you jealous? If you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing.

  4. Jealous my foot... She made it a public business by announcing a September wedding in June!

    ReplyDelete
  5. So what? Her wedding, her business! You sound awfully judgemental...sour grapes!

  6. @anon 3.40pm, guessing you're Ama or one of her alatenuje friends.
Ama is the frustrated bewithched old cargo here!
The Poju even has unsettled issues with his first wife!!!
    What a lousy marriage.

  7. My father is UN chief scribe so no man is fit enough to marry me... Now she's an overused 42 yrs old who's ending up with another man's wife. Effect of broken home!

    ReplyDelete
  8. You people should take it easy now. Ama must have been too excited about getting married that she announced it early.
Not looking forward to the wedding as Kofi himself is a bore and his fellow diplomats are bores at parties. The groom who should add effect has been married before so no more excitement.
if you say broken home, correct!

  9. All you rumour mongers, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Poju has never been married before!!! And people can wed however they want to. Are you married yourselves? Are you HAPPILY married? Dont talk/write about things you have no firsthand knowledge about. Did you see or hear Ama announce herself. It is people like you with so much envy, jealousy & bitterness that help spread the news. Heresay, is such a bad fruit, you all need to get lives of your own!!!

  10. Why does age come into when you get married? Are people not allowed to wait till they find someone they really love are compatible with before getting married. How many of you who married younger are still happily married? How does age define whether you have a quiet or elaborate wedding? Surely it is personal prference! and more importantly if you can afford it, some people will beg, borrow steal to have an elaborate wedding, but someone who is in their 40s, cannot have an elaborate wedding because of her/ their ages! you are hypocrites full of bad venom, who dont even know these people personally. Before you pounce on me, I got married when I was 23 and I am now 40, still with the same husband, 3 lovely children. I have never looked at another man, simply not interested and it is bad morals anyway. And I am not Ama's friend! I'm just not judgemental.

  11. Anon 11.02am, Poju has never been married and has 3 kids by a woman! Shows he's either a liar or just plain irresponsible!!! And he's just 40 yrs.
Who are Ama's haters and what is about her that one can envy? The only thing about her that people use in associating with her is her father's fame. Every other thing about her is thrash, especially her mother Titi.
You all coming here to support Ama should just be quiet before her family's dirty secrets are exposed!man! Shows he's either a liar or just plain irresponsible!!! And he's just 40 yrs.

  12. Your comments would be an embarrassment to your mind, if you had one.

Jealousy is a very ugly thing, you should see a doctor about that.

Also, only people with low self-esteem put others down to make themselves feel better about their lives. Judging from the trash you have written above, you must have a very sad and miserable existence.

    ReplyDelete
  13. @anon 5.17pm, you're the one who should see a doctor for your unjustified support. You're probably Ama.
FYI blogs are for entertainment and the rule says if you don't want to be harrassed, keep your private lives secret. We've read stories of weddings after the event and not 4 months to the event.
Ama sure seems like a 42 yr old who can't keep her privacy or probably has lousy friends who helped let her info to the media.
Ama must have lived a miserable and sad life not to be married at 42 and then getting married to a 40 yr old with 3 kids!
Jealous that she's getting married to a divorcee, at 42, near menopause, with a stooge father and an equally miserable mother??????????

    ReplyDelete
  14. LWKMD!@Anon 5.17pm, please take us to the doctor since we're jealous of Ama and Poju's repulsive wedding gist... As if they're young couple.
Pls tell us also, how our lives are miserable by relaxing with entertainment news.

  15. OMG! The groom should be ADEPOJU ADEDEJI that worked at Baker hughes, Houston. In that case, he's (or was) married; with kids. I just hope he divorced his wife the proper way.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Anon 11.02am, Adepoju Bola Adedeji was married and has 3 kids. You're one of the fools Ama deceived!

  17. Did these two go for HIV/AIDS test? Laolu Saraki and Obaro Ibru have both taken turns to bed Ama! Bow i hear Obaro is positive...

  18. AMA SHOULD BE CALLED OLD CARGO BRIDE FOR BEING A 40+ BRIDE WHILE POJU SHOULD BE CALLED A TOKUNBO GROOM FOR BEING A DIVORCED GROOM WITH CHILDREN :)

    ReplyDelete
  19. I agree with Mrs B, Ama's mother Titilola Alakija is a known husband snatcher. After her divorce, she spent years sleeping with her husband's friends. Frustrated in the late 90s, she claimed to be born again. Lollllllllllllllll...

    ReplyDelete
  20. Heaven forbid that there should be more than one Adepoju Adedeji in existence!!!!!!!
No it is not the same one, he has never lived in the United states of America, he certainly has never been married before and definitely does not have 3 children.

Get your stories right, while at it get yourselves lives.

As for Ama's mum, well i guess you all have perfect parents and we should all be judged by our parents shouldn't we????? irrespective of what we have done in our lives or made of our lives!!!! Judging by your inaccurate comments about the groom, the rest of your comments can only be taken with a pinch of salt. I bet you know (inaccurately of course), why Titi Alakija was divorced from her husband as well

    ReplyDelete
  21. Anon 5.28pm, you make me laff!
Poju Adedeji worked at BakerHughes Houston, then London and now France. Stop being a follow follow friend of Ama who knows nothing about her. And yes, Poju has kids... It wont be nice to embarrass Ama with more info on Poju. You sick fuck wannabe!

Titi Alakija divorced Kofi Annan because she couldn't cope with his absence from home. So who's accurate madame SAN?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Believe me I am no friend of Ama. And again you are wrong. Poju was never married before and again doesnt have 3 children.

I suppose Titi Alakija told you herself that's why she divorced him!!

Stop being ridiculous, you have no firsthand knowledge, it is all hearsay. None of them are saints, and neither are you, so stick to the stories you really know about. This certainly isn't one of them.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Why can't you just be happy for people who have found love in their 40's? Why all the negativity?

Is it okay that younger married couples are sleeping around, because they married too soon, due to unnecessary social/cultural pressures?

And as for this so called Poju's ex-wife, where is she, who is she? No one knows because it is all rumour!

I wish them both all the very best and God's blessings. No one knows what tomorrow holds. No one is perfect eiher. But for the grace of God.....

  24. Happy in a second marriageOctober 6, 2011 at 7:16 PM

Anon 5.28pm and 9.26pm deserves to be given title of Anti-SAN for the blind defence of Poju and Titi. This is a blog and unnecessary defence will generate more controversies.

Anon 9.59pm, not all ex-wives stalk their ex hubbies and cause trouble. Poju's ex wife must have moved on.

I was once married to a famous guy, but the guy showed me hell. Years later I heard he was getting married to an ex beauty queen; people expected to hear gists about me but I kept quiet and the matter faded away. Now, am happily married and thank God I managed my ex's remarriage well; otherwise, it would have spoilt show for me.

Finally, we all aren't perfect and delving into our imperfections will create more mess.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hi there,

There is nothing blind about "my defence", there is no need for name calling!! Poju was not married before and does not have 3 children.

I certainly was not defending Titi, I was merely making a point, short of Titi telling the previous poster herself, it is hearsay! Nobody truly knows what happens between couples in a marriage. Even couples misunderstand eachother and can narate the same story to an outsider, who would wonder if they were both talking about the same thing.

Life is not black & White, there are different shades of grey as well. I myself have heard at least 5 reasons why Titi left her husband from people who were "100%" sure they were in the know! Laughable really. Only God knows the truth.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Anon 9.25pm, you're wasiting your energy unnecessarily.
This my first time of commenting here. I don't know Titi, Ama nor Poju and am not interested in their stories as am here for entertainment.
Seems something is pinching you over their lives.
You also seem to be nosy to know five reasons of a divorce from different sources. And to think that divorce is like 30 years.

Could you please tell us the five different reasons of their divorce since you know. We're here for entertainment and the reasons would sure be entertaining. Int'l shameless gbeborun amebo!!!

    ReplyDelete
  27. Lady Yvonne, take it easy!!!! Valid points have been made. The five different reasons probably came from people like you & other rumour mongers.

Just because this person does not have sour grapes like you, doesn't mean they should be attacked.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Anon 9.03am, you wrote that you heard 5 versions of Titi's divorce reasons from 5 sure sources. Now you're saying it's from rumour mongers!
Stop being a toad in the life of Titi and go get your life! Kojo was once my boss and he never talked about his parent's divorce. It's people like you who take other people's life serious that help them wash their dirty linen in public.
This story is about Ama and Poju...you're obviously showing you know Titi who's a minor in this gist.
You'd rather be quiet before people who truly know Titi come here to disclose her dirty secrets.
Doing scan for another's chest infection.

  29. TITI ALAKIJA IS A WICKED, OCCULTIC AND MISERABLE WOMAN.
SHE MOST PROBABLY USED AMA AND KOJO'S MATRIMONY AND GRANDCHILDREN AS DONATION IN HER COVEN. ONLY GOD KNOWS WHERE SHE DISAPPEARED TO NOW.
TITILOLA ALAKIJA IS IYA AJE ELEYE, VERY BIG WITHCT USING MFM AS COVER UP!!!

  31. I tire for people oh! Marriage of two 40yr olds is now news. Don't even find it exciting. Will rather read about Kojo's marriage to a younger lady;)

    ReplyDelete
  32. i tire... there has to be some other matter(s) that is yet to come out.. guess what, where were u when they got married??... time to shut the F@#k up!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Ama and Poju's matter is dry gist... Am saying it again, Kojo would be a more interesting gist considering the fact that he's bedded a hundred big girls. Will love to see the gal he'll end up with.
On their wedding day, was with my hubby enjoying his warmth. And don't use the f*#k word anyhow!

  34. Anon oct 12, 9.24pm... Titi Alakija being a witch is a fact around Lagos island and westend london. For like 10yrs now, people talk about her witchcraft in hush tones. As you rightly put, she really pressed down her children's matrimony. I only pity the spouses of those children!!!

    ReplyDelete
  35. If Titi Alakija is a witch as said, then what did she gain from witchcraft? Her marriage to Kofi broke, her two children do not have settled lives, she lives alone in London! Now, she should be grooming Ama for the witchcraft or she must have given Ama. Not all that glitters is gold.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Adepoju Adedeji, see the kind of messed up family you married from, just because of kofi Annan fame!
    Ole, olojukokoro!!
And you even married a big sister Ama at your age of 40, with controversial number of children.
Now you're boosting your ego saying your prof father worked at UN. I laff in int'l languages... Even young people doing PhD work for UN.
May your marriage never bear fruits. Amen. May Ama bear the consequences of Titi's evil. Amen.

    ReplyDelete
  37. To God be the glory, great things He hath done! At last God has broken the obvious jinx in Ama's life. Now we're waiting for Kojo's bride, sure she will be a knock out who won't stick out her tongue in public. Lolllll

    ReplyDelete
  38. Na Mama Ama dem dey call Titi? Ha! Ka sha ma se da da.

    ReplyDelete
  39. @Kemiismyrealname, yes it's mama Ama that's Titi. Mama yen baye je gan, walahi ko le ri orun wo! Infact, ise ibi e lo faja laarin oun ati Kofi. She wasnt even at Ama's wedding, a look alike represented her.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Here in London, from Knightsbridge, to Chelsea, to Kensington, to Brompton, and Fulham, Titilola Alakija's gist is the latest story! Some people are even contemplating informing Poju of all the sordid details.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Sordid detals? Children can't choose their parents so it's no fault of Ama's who her mum is. Will their mum live with them in their matrimonial home? I doubt it. Also, since his Dad was okay with the wedding i don't think this woman's issue matters.

    ReplyDelete
  42. @Shakara, watch out and see what happens when Poju hears it all...
As if we all aren't Africans who beleive in ancestoral curses.
In Yorubaland, they say omo buruku se fe, ana buruku ni ko se fe... Meaning it's better to marry a bad person than marry a good person with bad parents.
    I rest my case!

    ReplyDelete
  43. @Shakara, i notice you seem to know the stories of all celebrities in Nigeria. Na wa oh!
Was at Ama's white wedding and was disappointed. Was expecting to see white diplomats and African ex presidents but 75% of guests were Nigerian socialites. The wedding was an evening affair, with garden cocktail reception before the main reception. Nigerians didnt get the idea behind the cocktail reception, instead they were just roaming about the hotel lobby. Children on bridal train and most adults looked tired and sleepy, mc was too formal and boring, groom was not lively and at a point wanted to cry (what sort of groom cries?), someone represented the bride's mother and kofi snobbed the woman, Kofi's white wife wore a chiffon kaftan... IV and programme quality is regular. They were also ghana traditional dancers like masqurades!
OMG! Thought the ambience would make it the wedding of the decade. Infact, Shagaya, Adenuga, Akande weddings beat it 100times over and over.
Fame sure doesn't make you classier!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Guest; i just keep my ears to the ground that's all. Don't most Lagosians know celeb stories?

    ReplyDelete
  45. @Shakara, no ill feelings. Just felt you seem to remember all their personal stories more than usual;) Haba! I feel all their stories are movies for entertainment and nothing to keep in my head as records or watch out for updates.

    1. You are absolutely right. I can hardly believe such hateful comments especially even from someone who attended her wedding. Not being funny but are all Nigerians so narrow minded and judgemental because this thread seems to show just that. Pure wickedness from people who clearly are bitter and twisted and probably broke ass too. Get a life.

  47. @smh, gerrout of here with your emotions. Even Ama knows all these allegations are true. It's a year of their tacky marriage and we all Poju's folks now know what we didn't know. So people voicing out their thoughts show they're sad. Why is it only mama Ama of all Alakijas accused of the evil W? No smoke without fire. Go and tell Ama nothing must happen to Poju and Bomi!
