Just in case you are wondering what 'Bazaar De Marque' is, it's the new 5-star all purpose restaurant on the topmost floor inside the Mega Plaza, on Idowu Martins Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. It's just next to the rooftop lounge known to all as the The Marque. So what's so great about it, that sets it apart from all the regular restaurants that dots Lagos? Their distinguishing factor is in the fusion of the food that they serve. It's the only place presently, where you can have a 'fusion' of some of the very best cuisines from around the world. From the best of Indian to Chinese to Nigerian to Mexican etc.  It is such an exotic mix that is best experienced than it been spoken about. 

The ambience itself is so cosy and so welcoming, most likely one would forget oneself in the gorgeous environment. It is obvious that the sisters owners paid attention to the minutest details, everything is obviously arranged for comfort, before one is swept off one's feet by the super food package. And truth be told, they have got combos that would continually whet the appetite of those who appreciate good food, that is well-served and in the right environment. 

We experienced a part of their magic and we can tell you for a fact, that it was an experience we have promised to have many times over. One of their specialties for now is their 'Brunch Package'. It is second to none. A mix of the best of the continental and the exotic dishes.

The place is owned and managed by 2 exquisitely gorgeous and fantastically stylish Canadian-Indian sisters, Jyoti & Kiran. Both are world travelers and have experienced cuisine from many parts of the world. Being born in Canada to Indian parents. While Kiran is the House Chef at Bazaar and is a self-taught food enthusiasts, the equally gorgeous sister Jyoti, who is a 'budding' photographer amongst several hobbies is more into management of the first class restaurant. Both combines their strengths to run the affair of the new 'in' restaurant.

Though there had been a soft opening previously on Valentine's Day, Thursday, February 14, 2013. The very grand opening was just about 2 weeks ago. At the tail end of the month of March 2013. And to attest to the fact that the restaurant is 5-stars the opening had the many who is who in attendance. We hear the good 'nibbles' that is served at the Marque now is done at the Bazaar.

MBRYO DROPS A BANGER TITLED- PAROLE

Coming from the stable of the incredibly talented Ruggedy Baba is who some have already tagged as the next best thing to happen to music in Nigeria. And his name is Mbryo.

From the little snippets that we have gotten from those who should know in the industry. The young and very talented dude is here to stay and a talent like no other. He has just dropped a new single that is enjoying massive airplay and that all who have heard are applauding, even asking for more. 

Alas! The special one – MBRYO drops the long awaited track – PAROLE presented to you by Rugged Records.

Mbryo has been at it again, busy in the studio cooking up bangers. Parole is another certified club banger from the Rugged Records artist -Mbryo who is working hard to get an elevated spot in the entertainment circuit.

This is definitely a track for the ladies but is sure to have everyone on their feet. The catchy repetitive chorus will have you repeating it again and again and again and again and again and again...

BULL'S EYE BY JOSEPH EDGAR- DARE ART ALADE- PRISONER OF PEDIGREE.

 I met Dare once at a highbrow hotel tucked inside Ikoyi one night. I was trying to sell a project that had to do with his home state- Kogi. Looking as handsome as ever, he walked in listened to me very patiently and gave me his thoughts. Although I did not get what I wanted from him, I left the place proud of the man he had become.

Dare caught my interest from his radio days simply because of who he is. I grew up on his father. Let me confess my soft spot for Jazz and Classical music, hence my interest in Art Modupelola Alade. I used to sneak in my youth to his dad's club in Yaba, although I could not enter, the mere fact that I could stand in front of the place was enough for me.

So when I first listened to Dare it was a dream come true for me. I supported him in the South African reality programme and cried when he did not come tops. I like his voice, the deep baritone and the ranges he reaches and also his energy and zest for life.

His collaborations with Tuface, the playfulness of the video, his collaborations with Flavour and the video on Broad Street are all simply the work of a genius.

But I sensed a confusion and I told his very beautiful wife when I met her. Dare wants to bestride two worlds. The street hip hop world of  Tuface and D banj and the more serious well composed Jazz world of his father. This seeming confusion has made him an average artiste and has limited his full growth as a mature artiste. I sense his youthfulness has a lot to do with this. He dresses like the modern day rapper, but carries the voice of the legendary Italian baritone, Luciano Pavarotti. His albums and songs have something for both class of listeners and that limits loyalty.

Lagos| Nigeria, 15 April 2013: Host Rebel Wilson set the tone for the “2013 MTV Movie Awards”, opening the show with a live, high-energy medley of Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb”, Eminem’s “Lose Yourself”, Alicia Keys’ “Girl on Fire” and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift Shop”, joined by several of her “Pitch Perfect” co-stars. 

Telecast live from Sony Pictures Studios Lot, in Culver City, CA, the “2013 MTV Movie Awards” was filled with unexpected moments from the brightest stars in Hollywood and the hottest emerging talent in music.  The annual event officially kicks off the blockbuster season, treating fans to a first look of the year’s most-anticipated films.

Hosted by Rebel Wilson, the “2013 MTV Movie Awards” broadcast live on MTV (DStv Channel 130) on Monday 15 April at 03:30 CAT.  For another chance to watch the show, tune into MTV at 19:00 CAT, Tuesday 17 April.

The night was also a chance to look back on the films adored by fans over the past year. “The Avengers” and “Silver Linings Playbook” took home three golden popcorn trophies each, while global icon Brad Pitt made a rare public appearance to recognize “The Avengers” as MOVIE OF THE YEAR. The Marvel film also received recognition for BEST VILLAIN, honouring Tom Hiddleston’s turn as Loki, and BEST FIGHT, which was presented to Hiddleston, Chris Evans and Samuel L. Jackson. Fans were also treated to a clip of the forthcoming “Star Trek” blockbuster, introduced by stars Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana and Zachary Quinto. 

Academy Award®-winning actor and Grammy Award®-winning artist Jamie Foxx scored a golden popcorn for BEST WTF MOMENT along with his “Django Unchained” co-star Samuel L. Jackson, and Foxx was further recognized for his outstanding career with the GENERATION AWARD, presented by Kerry Washington. Not nominated for an Academy Award®, but receiving recognition at the “2013 Movie Awards” was the film “Ted”, which won for BEST ON-SCREEN DUO with Mark Wahlberg and Seth MacFarlane as Ted.

Foxx wasn’t the only one to receive special recognition. Peter Dinklage from “Game of Thrones” presented Will Ferrell – clad in a cash money suit and joined on stage by his southeast Asian “wife and children” – with the inaugural COMEDIC GENIUS AWARD.  Regarded as one of the most versatile young talents in Hollywood, Emma Watson, star of the upcoming “The Bling Ring”, received the second-annual TRAILBLAZER AWARD from her “My Week with Marilyn” co-star Eddie Redmayne, “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” co-star Logan Lerman, and Jonah Hill, who in a taped message divulged his wish to co-star in the film adaptation of “Fifty Shades of Grey” with Watson. 

Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence each won two “MTV Movie Awards”, one of which they shared for BEST KISS, presented by Steve Carell and Amanda Seyfried. Lawrence also won BEST FEMALE PERFORMANCE for the second-straight year, while Cooper was honoured with the BEST MALE PERFORMANCE.

Rebel Wilson earned her very own golden popcorn, winning BREAKTHROUGH PERFORMANCE for her role in “Pitch Perfect”, while also claiming an ensemble honour with the rest of her “Pitch Perfect” cast mates for BEST MUSICAL MOMENT. The Australian actress also brought the house down with a series of hysterical comedy shots – one of which co-starred James Franco, who paid an unexpected visit to Rebel in the Australian bush, and another highlighting many of her marquee roles from the last year that were left on the cutting room floor.

Three men with unmistakable physiques – Zac Efron, Seth Rogen and Danny McBride – took to the Movie Awards stage, with Rogen and McBride dropping their pants to present the BEST SHIRTLESS PERFORMANCE honour to Taylor Lautner for his outstanding body of work in "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2."

In the end, all eyes were on Liam Hemsworth, who provided the world with a first look at an exclusive teaser trailer of the highly anticipated new film “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire”, with the signature giant mockingjay pin engulfed in flames behind him. Fans were also provided with a sneak peek of an extended scene from Marvel’s “Iron Man 3.”            

The “2013 MTV Movie Awards” also featured a string of stirring live music performances. Ke$ha introduced chart-topping duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis for a high-energy performance featuring a Mariachi themed brass section, keeping the party going with their most recent hit, “Can’t Hold Us.” Later in the evening, Kim Kardashian introduced Selena Gomez for a provocative, Bollywood dance-inspired rendition of her single “Come & Get It”, as Gomez continues to turn heads after her recent appearance in “Spring Breakers.”

We woke up this morning to hear for this first time about this lovely looking damsel. Apparently the gorgeous lady known to most as Deola Diadem is a very popular, beautiful young woman and a former undergraduate of OSU. The unpalatable story now went to say she left OSU, in her 3rd year to relocate to Malaysia, thereafter the story took another turn, revealing just too much. Obviously something must have gone amiss between friends. Whatever must have gone awry between her and some people close to her. Those people are not taking it lightly with her at all. 

What we have read in the past few hours are totally unpalatable. Whatever it is she might have done to this former friends, they are totally bent on destroying her name and reputation. In an exclusive shoot by the Studio 29 creative team, Eva Alordiah looked every inch a style diva in limited edition pieces from AsakeOge and Yutees, just two of the labels available at Studio 29.

 Style makes geniuses of some and makes the foolish of many. A lot of times in the quest to stand out or in order for people to call one stylish, people can sometime go overboard. We are not all created with the same body dimensions, so we all cannot have the same features or structures. Though sometimes when you look at some, it's like God took time to really sculpt and perfect them. By this we mean, the face is first class, the shape is 7-Stars, the attitude is A-class, everything just seem to fall in place altogether. 

It takes the very confident and the stylish to flaunt both sides of the beauty pack. While some look gloriously gorgeous full-frontal and their back end not great. Some just have that back-view made in heaven and an obvious admiration of all. But there are some who combine both packages very well.

In this feature, we have a few candidates who seem to be showcasing those 2 parts (the back and the front)to the envy of all. Mind you, the back here is not talking about some grotesquely shaped back region. We are talking about a front and the backside that is proportionate to each other. Not some va-va voom backside that's too dangerous to even look at.
