Lanre Da Silva-Ajayi is undoubtedly one of Nigeria's best designers. In fact she's one of the most internationally recognized Nigerian designer right now and one that's home based at that. Her atelier, is in Lagos, precisely Dolphin Estate in Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria.

She is one of the very few in the cutthroat industry, where you are up there today and gone tomorrow that has helped to place Nigeria, on the world map, while also placing her name high up there when it comes to the fashion industry.

At the age of 27 years old in 2005 after she had returned to Nigeria from her studies in the UK, where she had bagged a 1st degree in Business Administration at the Coventry University and a 2nd degree (Masters) in Finance from the University of Leicester, she founded her award winning ams quite successful eponymous brand better known now simply as LDA.

It has been a roller-coaster of a magic carpet kinda ride ever since. A decade and 3 years in the fashion industry since that humble beginning in 2005. And like an acorn that was well planted in a good soil and one that has been very well nurtured ever since, she has grown in leaps and bounds ever since then, dazzling all comers year after year with her awesome and incomparable creativity and great charm, from Lagos to London to New York to Paris and more, winning converts in droves as they experience her offerings. In fact Lanre's celebrity following, which cuts across the young and not so old, is one of the most impressive of any, with those loyal to her mesmeric amd nearly magical creations not willing to shift base, whatsoever.

So today, Monday, August 6, 2018 is the very married, mother of 2's 40th year on earth. Her beautiful birthday at that and the friends and associates of the successful lioness of a creative maven have been besides themselves with joy, blowing her trumpets unstoppably and banging and thumping their drums in unmitigated celebration of her.

We too, having been swept off our feet by the excitement, are happy to flow in the euphoric air while wishing her the very best of a new lease of life.

OMONI OBOLI CLOCKS 40 AND GETS SET TO LAUNCH OWN BOOK-STARS ARE AGELESS!

Ace digital filmmaker (an alumni of the New York Film Academy), award winning role interpreter, otherwise referred to as thespian or more formally as actress, who also doubles as producer, director and script writer with many screen plays to her credit, the very creatively blessed one called OMONI OBOLI is 40, born April 22, 1978 and we are really excited for her! OMONI is one of Nollywood 's powerhouse and can even be described based on of the queens of the industry. She's obviously blessed as she doesn't look 40 but rather like in her 30s.

The young award winning thespian has a lot of feathers already on her sleeves which makes her soar very much above others and another feather has been added again, that of an author. Her first ever book titled Stars are ageless is coming to the book shelves and magazine stands for all to boy and read, to have a view of her thoughts, her past, projections for the future and what have you. It's a chronicle about all that she is and more thus far.

To celebrate clocking 40, the age of maturity as some have tagged it, her loving husband Nnamdi went deep and brought out his most romantic side penning her a loved up birthday message that touches the heart, reminding how the journey of 18 years together have been do blissful etc.  Also avalanche or should we say flood of well wishes have also cascaded in from all quarters, wishing the sweet actress a beautiful happy birthday. We even saw her at the #ubagroup#ubaceoawards2018 earlier today looking gorgeous and having good fun.

NOLLYWOOD'S FOLUKE DARAMOLA GOES PICTURE GAGA IN CELEBRATION OF 40TH BIRTHDAY!;

Sizeable Nollywood actress Foluke DARAMOLA has joined the league of the newest 40 year olds in town. Like Mercy Aigbe, like Iyabo Ojo, like Chinedu Ikedieze, like Omosexy, all Foluke's colleagues and a few others, Foluke was awesomely happy to start life anew. Reason being that, just in case you might have forgotten like they say, "life begins at 40". So it's a new lease of life for the delightsome lady who has been in our face for upwards of a decade plus now.

The mother of 2, apart from her passion for interpreting roles has another passion too, which is very dear to her heart, an advocacy she founded known as "Passion Against Rape in Africa".

To celebrate hitting 40, sweet actress went totally picture gaga releasing a sizeable nos of new exciting pictures for her fans. Though her actual birthday date was February 6, 2018 she instead celebrated her born day at the Down Syndrome and Blind People's home yesterday, February 15, 2018.

Come February 7, 2017 one of Nigeria's and Africa's most famous and most well recognised actress/entertainer would clock the new beginning of life, as she would hit 40 year old.

From the day 1 which is the 7th, the actual day of her birthday, it's tagged "Give and Let's Give to the Widows & Orphans" to day 5, it would be a gradually increasing crescendo of events, the 5th has been earmarked as the "Omosexy Grand ball", which is expected to be 5-stars in rating by all standards. We expect that the guests list of invitees would be a mixture of the stars, celebrities, top Government functionaries, top businesspeople both men & women etc.

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, was born on February 7, 1978. She made her film/movie debut in 1995 as a young prodigy, making this year 2018 her 2 decades plus years in the industry. In her 23 years she has appeared in 300 films, has sold several millions and has carted home several awards both at home and International to show for her dedication to the arts.

She is married to Captain Matthew Ekeinde, and they both have 4 kids between them, oldest-Princess being 20 going 21 and the youngest-Michael 15 years old going 16.

Congratulations to one of Africa's best, infact the only Nigerian ever named in Times Magazine 100 most influential in the world and a great friend of the house.

Africa's number 1 media mogul, Mo Abudu about 2 nights ago, Friday, October 7, 2017 to be more precise, on the island, hosted ex-beauty queen, lawyer and highly sort after image consultant, the gorgeously beautiful and effortlessly stylish Ifeoma Williams, to a cool and classy pre-40th birthday party.

It was an exclusive ladies only gathering all the way and from the look of things, it was both super stylish and super fun, with the theme been-a "pyjama jammy jam".

Some of those in attendance were the likes of Ifeoma's besto of many years Banke Balogun, Karen Koshoni, Tundun Abiola, Pat Faniran, Mercedes Richards, event planner extraordinaire Ndidi Obioha, Uche Nwandison, This Day Style's Ruth Osime, top event designer Funmi Okigbo, ace designer Lanre Da Silva Ajayi.

Good music from the "old skool to the new skool" filled the atmosphere as the ladies sang along and demonstrated their dancing prowess to their own delight. It's obvious that Ifeoma would have been a major hot-stepper par excellence in her much younger days, as she moved with grace and precision to MC Hammer's old hit.

According to our findings, a more elaborate 40th birthday shindig is upcoming come Sunday, October 22, 2017. From the look of things it would be a supremely stylish and fun party, that would rate very very high. If we got it right the theme is revolves somewhat around MJ, the late king of pop.
