MELANIN OVERLOAD. CHECK OUT THE CAST OF PROBABLY THE HIGHEST GROSSING MOVIE EVER IN HISTORY TILL DATE- BLACK PANTHER-

Nakia, Okoye, Shuri & Ramonda (Queen Mother)

W'Kabi, T'Challa, Zuri, Erik Killmonger

Letitia Wright (Shuri), Lupita Nyong'o (Nakia), Angela Bassett (Ramonda), Danai Gurira (Okoye)

Daniel Kaluuya (W'Kabi), Chadwick Boseman (T'Challa-Black Panther), Forest Whitaker (Zuri), Michael B. Jordan (Erik Killmonger)

Chadwick Boseman- King T'Challa-the Black Panther

Marvel Comics has totally, awesomely, matter of factly hit pay dirt! If this movie continues on the same path it is on presently for the next 2 months, it would most likely have broken every attendance record and grossing record available in the market. So Marvel Comics have obviously struck oil, gold, diamond etc all at the same time.

Imagine that all the cinemas in Nigeria alone have been packed out, totally sold out since this movie came out! The hype that has followed this movie has been unprecedented and totally unbelievable!

One of the things that the producers and marketers got going for them was that they delivered a movie that all, irrespective of age could watch! So just imagine a movie that young kids and adults are rushing to go watch- that's already a guaranty for success! That's not just it alone. The hype before the film came out truly got everyone salivating and totally eager to go watch, so as soon as it landed everyone was already running to go be the first sets to watch.

People might not necessarily believe in this our opinion, but a film of the magnitude of BT focused on Africa, a major consumer market, especially also highlighting a superhero and villian from here, with most of the crew being black also, would most definitely touch a good nerve/chord. There's a way the movie has affected the general psyche of the people, there is the hero vibe in our subconscious that has been touched, which is bringing a feel good vibe to the fore.

Has the movie lived up to the unprecedented hype/hoopla that preceded it? Ooo most definitely yes. It's a whole package- drama, thrill, action, comedy, all in one. The cinematography, the cast, the acting ....even the fictional Wakanda, which is one of the richest fictional country in the world all adds up to make it a wholesome experience. Do you all even know that T'Challa the Black Panther is the wealthiest super hero in the whole universe of all time? Richer than the billionaire IronMan (Tony Stark) and the multimillionaire Batman (Bruce Wayne) combined?

Would we advise people to go catch the film? Most definitely yes! It's a 2 hour plus that's super fun and worth the money and the noise! A good movie no doubt in a season of many craps or should we say bullshits!

Check out the awesome cast of one of the year's best movies no doubt, from Chadwick Boseman T'Challa-Black Panther to Michael B. Jordan- Erik Killmonger to Forest Whitaker- Zuri and Daniel Kaluuya--W'Kabi to Lupita Nyong'o-Nakia to Angela Bassett-Ramonda to Danai Gurira-Okoye to Letitia Wright-Shuri and others not mentioned or not shown here, who all gave super good accounts of themselves.

The pictures above shows 8 of the main casts, a case of melanin overload on steroids. 8 proud black people, who are all extraordinary talents. There just has to be a sequel!

DJ CUPPY "THY HOTNESS DON COME" HER INTERVIEW WITH FASHION BOMB IN THE US.

So the supremely gorgeous and calm daughter of billionaire oil magnate Mr. Femi Otedola, in the person of Florence "DJ Cuppy" Ifeoluwa Otedola was in the US very very recently and had an interview with Fashion Bomb, which was featured very late November 2017.

The young and very fashionable yet very respectful lady spoke on sundry issues, chief of which was her new collaboration with Tekno titled "Greenlight" and also spoke about the unfounded misconceptions about Nigeria.

Who is Cuppy for those who don’t know? She says,

“Cuppy is a fusion between Africa and the Western World. I’m a growing brand. Music is really my base, but I’m on a journey to find different ways to express myself.”

Tell us about your single, Greenlight.

“Considering the video is about the love and relationship side of meeting someone, it’s about a girl or a guy giving you the Greenlight. Before I put out my record, I managed to build a great brand back home. I always felt like it was time for me to take things to the next level. I knew my debut single would be called Greenlight, so Greenlight for me means having the guts to finally go [and step into your destiny].”I sing on my song, which is very different because I’m not an artist, I’m a DJ. I don’t think I have the best voice in the world. I definitely don’t. Thank GOD for autotune. Music is changing. Greenlight is me taking it to the next level.”

What are the common misconception about Africa?

Cuppy says, “People think in Africa, we live in mud huts. But you’ve been to Lagos and know that is totally false! Nigeria is booming, Africa is booming, there’s an economy, there’s a lot of money. There’s a lot of interest in fashion and pop culture. So it’s definitely that idea of us Africans not being as exposed. Moet et Chandon found out that Nigerian is the bigger importer of champagne. People don’t know that we love to party, we like luxe things, we love exciting stuff, we are a great consumer to have as clients.”
She continues, “There are a lot of misconceptions about fraud and aboout a lot of Nigerian’s being corrupt, but there are a lot of hard working Nigerians in this world. I feel like even if people aren’t fully Nigerian, maybe their culture is Nigerian, you’ll find that there’s this work ethic that is completely unmatched.”

What’s next for Cuppy?

She says, “I want to work on an EP. There’s a lot of amazing thing going on for Afrobreats. It’s an exciting time. I want to do a lot of cool remixes. I want to bring Afrobeat to the mainstream, and remix American records with Afrobeat sounds.
