ACCESS BANK REFUTES GMD'S ARREST CLAIM THAT HAD GAINED TRACTION.

Much as the news had gone near viral about the arrest of the hardworking Herbert Wigwe who is the GMD of Nigeria's current biggest financial institution after it had merged with Diamond Bank to now become a banking powerhouse now known as Access Bank Plc, the bank has had come out to vehemently refute the claim of arrest, that it is very very far from the truth.

All of last week and even till this weekend, the news has gone about that the EFCC had arrested Herbert Wigwe. Much as we had tried to get clarification from the right quarters about the supposed arrest, the bank had only subtly said the arrest claim was not entirely true, but even with that, the story had refused to go to sleep, not until the bank had to now officially send out a statement, especially to the Nigerian Stock Exchange to powerfully refute the claim.

Our attention has been drawn to a trending report on social media regarding the alleged arrest of Mr. Herbert Wigwe, the Group Managing Director of Access Bank Plc (Access Bank) by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (“the Commission”).

We wish to state that the issue essentially relates to the credit facilities that were availed Slok Nigeria Limited (“Slok”) by the defunct Diamond Bank plc (“Diamond”) and which were secured by Slok’s assets charged to Diamond. Access Bank had inherited the Slok credit following the recent merger of Diamond with Access Bank.

Given the differing interest of the Commission and the Bank on the assets of Slok deriving from the court’s recent judgment on Slok, the Commission had invited for interrogation officials of Access Bank who were handling the Bank’s recovery efforts on Slok credit including its Group Managing Director.

Following fruitful engagement between the Bank and the Commission, we are of the opinion that the issues relating to Slok investigation have been resolved.

As an institution built on best practice, we wish to assure our esteemed stakeholders that the Bank will continue to conduct its business in line with extant laws and relations

6 PASTORS INVOLVED IN MIRACLE SCAM CONTROVERSY EXPOSED! !

So who actually was scammed or conned? That's the nagging question on all mouths right now, in the aftermath of this very glaring highest miracle scam of the century in Nigeria involving not less than 6 whooping pastors!

Or maybe we should ask another question, were these so called pastors are in active connivance with this circus act? Did they knowingly package a scam for their so called followers and onlookers? And then if that's still not the case, of they didn't plan with the scam artist to perpetrate the foolishness or madness, then it must be that the pastors themselves were scammed and therefore charlatans of the highest order, as they were staggeringly hoodwinked by the attention seeking, money making woman with the well packaged scam deformity! See foolishness to the power of infinity on utter display! Sad thing though was that many of their congregants, extra gullible souls at that, if not all, already fell for the sham or scam or scheme, hook, line and sinker. No wonder one is advised strictly to test all spirits, to ascertain if they be true or not. Na wa!!!!!

If the 2nd part above is the case, then those pastors and their so called gullible followers should go and hide their heads in the mud. It must then mean also that all the pastors involved and many more are actual artists and actors, who should be packaged for the next Oscars or Emmy awards too.

One same woman & 6 fools, calling themselves pastors. All scam artists, hoodwinking the public with drama in the name of miracles. One same woman, same miracle on the same right arm performed by all of them in their different churches at different times. Just imagine the money the woman would have made from the different churches as the scammed congregants would have rushed to support believing she's has been suffering so much all this time, so she must be helped!

In one of the several videos, one of the pastors spoke about witches doing the deformity to the woman and then he went about claiming or calling back the bones supposedly stolen, back from the witches or the witches coven! Just imagine that? God claiming something back from witches like He needs help from them. Then he began to jump around and gesticulate like something had possessed him, for the bones to stretch back into place. All the while this whole shenanigan were going on, you can see and hear as the onlookers were shouting in awe, in fact in one of the churches, a lady was heard loudly exclaiming-Ebube! Ebube!! Ebube!!!

And since all of these people have been confirmed as fakes, they then all should be arrested and prosecuted as they are a danger to the society and public.

For any to say they don't know or have not in one way or the other come across the 3 names above very very well in the last 2 to 3 years would mean that such a person claiming such ignorance is probably from Mars, Mercury, Saturn or Pluto. Even at that, such inhabitants of those far away planets cannot deny not knowing those three names. These 3 are just a few of the so called super rich young men, some call them billionaires that came into our consciousness like a bolt out of the blue all in the space of the last 5 years.

These young men came in and made the old filthy rich guys/men look like they only had peanuts and are probably peasants. They flaunted their "wealth" with abandon in the faces of people like they didn't give a care in the whole world. In fact even songs or lyrics in their support came pouring out like the very lives of the singers/musicians, depended on it. Remember such lyrics like "if you no get money, hide your face". And others like it. These guys and so many others like them, became icons to many youths, many who didn't care that their new heroes seem not to have any pedigree or backgrounds or history whatsoever, for those youths their new motto became, 'make money at all cost, no matter what'. So whether the money is from organ harvest, yahoo-yahoo, yahoo plus, it doesn't matter as long as money has come.

You see extreme, extraordinary, totally vulgar and extravagant display of crazy amount of cash in foreign currencies; display of  monsters on wheels-likes of the very latest Ferraris, Rolls Royce, Lamborghinis, Bentleys etc just name it; buying of designer garbs of all kinds (extreme daily shopping that baffles understanding, like the money is limitless; travels in first class or private jets to exotic places in Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia, Greece, Paris and Co; outrageous display of wealth at some of the best hotels and lounges possible, such as the 7-star Burj al Arab& other similar places like it.

When many of these guys whose vocations one couldn't readily ascertain or point to came into this wealth, what they came into must have been humongous ooooo. It was like they even owned the banks in those places, that they became like lords. Their parties were so extravagant, that even those whose wealth were somewhat certified couldn't dare compete with them. We can remember very well an out of this world party about a year or more ago. Where the kind of cars in thr entourage of the couple marrying has never been so vulgar like that before. Close to 40 states of the art cars one after the other and the couple in a spanking Rolls Royce. The money sprayed at that party on that day couldn't have been less than 100million Naira. The party even had strippers or go go dancers entertaining naked.

People like Mompha and Hush-puppi also known as 'Igbalode', Self-Paid and the likes became the new lords of the manor. But just like they came like bolts out of the blue, it seems like the chicken might have suddenly come home to roost now. Self-Paid now in Ghana, like several of them have ran away or gone underground to avoid the law. The fear of the EFCC now has become the beginning of wisdom. Have we now not seen the reduction in the outrageous and vulgar display of wealth on the streets, like it was 2 years ago? Most night clubs that just sprang up anyhow then, are shutting down for lack of patronage. Those that are still around are more careful now so as not to draw unnecessary attention their way.

So on Thursday, October 17,2019 in Abuja, the FCT to be more precise, after Mompha had arrived Abuja and had had his fun and was about going back to wherever he was on his back way to, the long arm of the law crept and clamped on him to arrest him or invite him for questioning! He was already on the plane luxuriating, waiting for the flight to go, when the 'men in black' came for him. People are still speculating on whether it's the EFCC or Interpol, that clamped him. And since that day, he has remained incognito or best incommunicado. With people speculating on whether he is in Abuja or now flown to Lagos, but those who feels they know are picking Lagos to be the most likely spot he would be. From what we hear, the usually boastful and generous Mompha is most likely already singing like a well fed Nightingale. According to this folks thdy believe very well he would have since become a one man band, singing bass, treble and soprano, and playing all of the instruments available all by himself, whilst playing the lead and then the supports too.

So are speculating that this might actually be the beginning of the end. Just imagine that this is actually his 2nd arrest in the space of 2 months! If he was actually smart, why didn't he just go underground for a while?

Who in fact is Mompha the big boy? According to those that might know a thing or two about him, he is the son of the owner of the biggest bureau de change in Ikoyi before. He is about 30 plus years old and he cut his teeth under his father before branching out on his own to do the same business too, albeit in Dubai. So is it the bureau de change business, where you make between 1 & 3 dollars per a certain amount, that has made him so filthy rich like this, to the extent that he became a Father Xmas of extraordinary proportion? Most definitely not. Apparently he was introduced into another money spinning business maybe real estate business or fashion or lifestyle influencing by his former friend now turned enemy, Hush-Puppi a while back and the rest like they say has since become history.

Since his 'arrest', unconfirmed gist says that Hush and Woody might have somewhat gone underground, that's because of its Interpol like some have speculated then yawa don gas be that. But we would try to confirm that though. Hush like you all already know is the well known self-styled 'Gucci billionaire', who has bestrode Dubai like a colossus since he got there about 2 years now. He and Mompha were 2 & 3 before they fell out publicly and then took each other to the cleaners thereafter.

Woody on his own is said to be Hush-Puppi's man Friday. The dude that picks up all his bills every where they go. Once Hush snaps his finger, Woody makes magic happen immediately (Woody is Hush puppy bill payer).

Would Mompha open up and point finger? That's the question on many mouths right now. We believe that soon, we might begin to see the effect of this big arrest or invitation around soon. Remember very well that not too soon after the arrest and expose on Invictus the Forbes rated billionaire, an FBI dragnet swept out many from their hide outs across the world.

One thing we know for sure though is, it's nearly going to be impossible for Hushpuppi to step foot into Nigeria for a long time to come. 

BOYS ARE IN DEEP SHIT AS EFCC RAIDS NIGHT CLUBS & JOINTS

Just like the title above says it, the EFCC might have changed it focus and may now have their attention focused on any of these young lads who frequents the night spots, joints and bars with their humongous machines on the mission to show-off, while spending their ill-gotten wealth in such ways and manner, that beggars belief.

Just yesterday alone, at a well known joint on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, Club 57 to be more precise, the long arm of the EFCC clamped down on some of these fly boys and their entourage as they were getting out of the joint after a good night of unbridled fun. It was a sting raid, so they all weren't aware of what was coming and so were not prepared for the surprise that came their way! So with these particular successful raid, many are already suggesting that the others are now going to be loads more careful and that those who do not have the businesses to back the lifestyle they live, are either going to shift their bases, run away for a bit if things are too hot or go underground for a while till things would relax again.

The EFCC on their verified Twitter handle gave credence to the raid- “Operatives of the EFCC early this morning raided Club 57 in Ikoyi, acting on intelligence report of activities of suspected Internet fraudsters.

“While some abandoned their exotic cars to evade arrest, some others resisted. 12 suspects were arrested, with 10 cars recovered.”

Mind you, many of the very big ones in the business, have solid backings from what we have heard. In fact some have the support of heavyweights in the force, behind them, who are said to be on their payroll, hence their very brazen attitudes.

For those who don't know, you have to be out at some of the joints in town to see how many of these boys intimidate others when they go on their spending sprees. Imagine that you go around and you see young guys driving some of the most humongous machines you can ever dream of and they have all not being smart enough to cover their backs with some legitimate businesses they could cover their asses when the push comes to shove. If the kind of raid that happened yesterday is sustained for a bit, then the night club owners and their businesses are the ones that would majorly feel the brunt, as these boys are most of their best customers/clienteles.

We met a young guy sometime last year, whose garage is worth at least near a billion Naira, if not more. He lives in a rented apartment somewhere, with things inside the house that's worth more than a hundred million, several more millions worth. This young dude is still in his 20s! He bought a brand spanking new Ferrari, that he air freighted in from Dubai after the purchase. He also owns a white G63 GGuard, we hear he also owns a Maserati and a few others. He drove and crashed, totalled his Ferrari under 6 months! After he had bought the Ferrari, he had also made up his mind to get a Lamborghini too! This is just one case.

There is also the case last year about that wedding, that got tongue wagging for several weeks. No wedding till date has beaten that wedding, including that of Dangote's daughter by display of opulence. The cars in the entourage of that wedding were more than 35, atleast 25 were brand spanking new G Wagons, driving by unknown young boys, a few Range Rovers were in the mix and the bride and groom rode in a Rolls Royce or 2. The display of opulence was so much that even some moneyed adults were intimidated. Just 2 of the guys sprayed 8million plus Naira, hard currency flowed like it was pure water. In the midst of the party were even go-go dancers doing strip tease. King of Fuji performed at the party and was sprayed endlessly for a long period of time.

If you want to catch many of these dudes who are not leaving in their own apartments either built or bought or rented, then you can either check Eko Signature, Continental Hotel and a few other places, where they have turned to home and you are too sure to catch many of them at these places having fun, with their posses and girlfriends etc. Imagine that last year alone a particular one who went haywire spending at a club, where one night's drink amd revelry bill was more than 10million Naira, stayed close to a year at the Signature!

How come many of these boys are still hitting paydirt daily! Inspite of the fact that or even as the scrutiny on them have not abated? You must understand very well that there are levels of operations in their type of business, differences in operations too. The mid level operators are those engaging in Yahoo-yahoo! The advanced level guys have moved to bigger things these are the G-boys. These ones by virtue of technology make use of applications that helps them to evade many of the firewalls of major companies, whose accounts they have been able to penetrate like they are the authorised people in charge and once in, they then transfer major funds in large amounts that are possible, from those accounts to other accounts, where they now share money with those account owners they have transferred to on 70:30 or 60:40 basis. Many of the account owners are abokis and others who deals in money transfers etc.

These boys believes wholeheartedly that they are not doing anything wrong, since they are dealing with companies and not necessarily individuals. There are also some whose advanced level border on the diabolical too, but that's a story for another day. You have some of these G-boys everywhere. And they also have many working for them too. Many have rented or leased apartments all over Nigeria, while they have some abroad too cutting the deals across the pond.

Would these focus on them help reduce the situation? Let's wait and see!

The man variously referred to by many tags, chief of which is "the Bull", for his never say die attitude and extraordinary strength of purpose has retained these 2 positions in Nigeria and Africa for many years, and he is sure never to go down at all.

His awesome resume is the type that gives hope to people who are not scared to work hard. Just imagine a man, who while in America drove taxis and from what he earned began to trade and from that humble beginnings, has grown to who he is now, a billionaire many times over!
Apart from owning the 2nd national carrier, Glo, his investment portfolios in real estate, oil and gas, finance etc are staggering to say the list.

But even with all his wealth/resources, connections around the world and wherewithal this particular season seem to be a trying one for him. According to unsubstantiated reports he is reported to be indebted in tune of some staggering amount. Like a late former billionaire was quoted to have said years back, "the bigger the head, the bigger the hat that would fit that head too", so someone of Adenuga's wealth and Caliber is expected to have huge debts, it's expected in business!

The very first sign of seeming unease was when his Glo licence in Benin Republic, our neighbouring country where the brand had grown to a sizeable chunk with over a million subscribers was not renewed so the brand was sent packing out of that country. The report claimed that they were sent packing because of their inability to pay the requirements to renew the licence! For someone who had built the sort of reputation that money is not an issue, when it comes to lucrativebusiness/investment opportunities many were shocked! But however any one sees it, it's not just a loss for Glo in Benin republic, but also a major loss for that country too!

The social media was awash all of yesterday about how cross- dressing social media sensation, Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye aka Bobrisky had been arrested by the Police and that he was soon going to be transported to Abuja, the FCT to face some alleged allegations, facts of which couldn't be readily ascertained.

People had allowed their imaginations to run riot, believing that maybe the recent admittance by the in your face cross-dresser that he was gay, might have triggered his arrest. While some had alleged that his arrest might have been a fallout of his imbroglio and constant bickering with another celeb, Toyin Lawani of the Tiannah Styling empire fame.

The story literally gained major traction, as some pictures of someone that looked like the 'internet celeb' looking distraught, wearing no make up, not even wearing shoes at a supposed Police Station were posted about.

Just because several people had tried endlessly to get across to the male Barbie and couldn't get through at all, that also added to the drama that he had truly being arrested and maybe he had no access to his phone(s).

But another drama has been added to the already evolving drama as the head of the Nigerian Police in Lagos State, Acting Commissioner of Police, Lagos Edgal Imohimi has denied any knowledge of Bobrisky's arrest! If the commissioner can say he has no knowledge of an arrest, it must mean that he would have asked his whole formation or command and they would have denied knowledge of an arrest! The Police boss even went further to say, "Ask him who arrested him"? I don't know about the arrest, and more so he has no problems with us"!

Also, the PPRO of Zone 2, Police Command, the gorgeous Mrs. Dolapo Badmus has also denied any knowledge of Bobrisky's arrest too! Maybe he wasn't arrested by the police as alleged on the social media.

So was Bobrisky arrested at all and if so, who did?

Seems like these duo having bitten more than they could possibly chew have totally gone underground?

After what could be termed or better still tagged their initial gra-gra, both seem to have finally gotten the message that "you cannot or can never fight a wealthy man or even wealthy men especially those with worldwide connections and get away scot free.

It is apparent that the arrest of the younger Kiran Matharoo at the Venice Marco Polo Airport as reported by an Italian newspaper must have jolted them tremendously and made them realise that you can run, but you can't hide, so they have had to go very under the radar.

We have tried every avenue to get across to Jyoti, since that arrest debacle via her Canadian phone, which was working pretty well before the said arrest og her younger sister to no avail. We have tried to contact her also via her what's app just to find out their own version of what could have happened, but still yet no response whatsoever. We have even called the Canada based journalist that interviewed and featured them on their online platform where they had spoken a while back and even made a boast to write a tell all book, but the lady responded and said she too couldn't get through to them and even suggested that maybe their lawyer(s) might have advised them to go quiet and off the radar.

Like we had said before, maybe they have now understood what it means when it is said, "the long arm of the law", which connotes that the law's long arm can stretch as far as anywhere, even to the nooks and crannies to arrest or bring people to justice!

It's very obvious that the "TKO or extreme knock out punch" as had been applied had hit the duo very very hard and maybe, the stylish ladies have been comatose ever since and are yet to recover from the pulverising effect from that one blow.

Obviously, the many wives and girlfriends (WAGS) of the many top Nigerians that both supremely stylish Canadian-Indians were formerly linked with, would have been exhaling since in joy, breathing massive air of relief, since both were indirectly declared "persona non grata" in Nigeria.

Can these duo ever step foot in Nigeria ever again? Maybe, maybe not? But the truth is that, when they were in circulation here, they truly raised the game to a much upper level for all, giving all their rivals a run for their money and making them raise their games many notch up. These gals, bad as they were viewed were a source of entertainment and fun and for those who could afford it, game and leisure.

As we speak they are in Canada, where they have since been since January 2nd and where believe they are safe and can at least be given the benefit of the doubt, to say their version of what went down. They since a week ago, have tried to deny many of the allegations against them even going as far as having news interviews which only a small part of was aired. They claim to have agreed that they were involved because of the threat to their lives, they apparently believed in the saying of the sages, that the ram that took a reverse, didn't run away actually, but went back to go gain momentum, so they just had to agree to just get out and go.

They claim to have just been cannon fodders. According to Jyoti who we actually spoke with and chatted with at length, many of their friends or acquaintances were actually arrested and questioned and let off quietly likes of Swanky Jerry and others, even before they were arrested and threatened. But no noise was made about these, but when it came to them they were the perfect fall guys and then all hell was raised, with so much hoopla. Now the girls have thought to reveal all that went down in their own words not keeping nothing.
