The leader and founder of Living Faith Ministries aka Winners Chapel has thought to respond thus in the aftermath of his recent visit to Chief Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo's house in company of the Presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, GCON with others just last week.

The visit had generated much hoopla, with many wondering why someone who should normally be a father of all, was seemingly siding (taking sides) with one. But the super wealthy, highly revered and respected man of God at his church on Sunday had thought to respond so as to disabuse the people's minds as per the premise of his visit.

Firstly he came out vehemently to say that, his visit was more as a mediator. And also that he has never belonged to any political party and would never ever join any. He also he said categorically without mincing a word that, he has never received a dime, a kobo before from any politician or party.

Hear the man of God, who once said it was an insult for any to have rated that he was worth a mere $150 million dollars--

“Never be left in any doubt, I have never belonged to any political party and I will never belong to any. There is no political party where members of Winners are not. Our goal is to secure the future of Nigeria,” he said.

“I am called a peacemaker and I have done that at all levels in this country. I am anointed to be a mediator because the price of peace is cheaper than the cost of war. That is my involvement. I was invited and I don’t go anywhere I’m not called.”

His outspokeness and seeming support for others is said to have stemmed from the fact that he believes President Muhammadu Buhari, handled the killings of some Nigerians with silliness. To him the recent killings in Plateau State was "an assault on moral standing of the nation".

The he went on further to state that--

“The spirit of faith is a daring spirit. You can see what is happening in this country today, it takes men and women of the spirit of faith to stop the devil. Wickedness won’t give up without vengeance; you can’t be killing people and pretend that you don’t know. Nobody is qualified to lead by morality without a feeling for people’s lives,”

“The day of killer agents has come to an end; anybody who has pity on killers is a killer. God is angry with the wicked every day. The recent holocaust in Plateau state is an assault on the moral standing of a nation.

“If you must kill to rule, you won’t rule. Anybody who must kill to access power, God will deal with them, either local or state government.

“Don’t mind any devil; I have never taken a dime from any candidate in my life. We have never given bribe to anybody in this ministry. I have been very close to the corridors of power, but I have never collected a dime from any of them.

“Anybody who partners with killers, whatever happen to killers will happen to them. There will be no war in Nigeria, but those who want it will go for it.”

OBASANJO- TRUMP IS GOD'S DIVINE WILL

The former 2 Times leader of the Nigerian State, first as a Military Head of State and secondly as a 2 term Civilian President, Chief Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo GCFR, recently in far away South Africa, posited that the current President of the United States of America, Mr. Donald Trump is the President of that country by the "divine will of God".

He made the statement in far away Pretoria, the Capital of South Africa at an event at the French Embassy in that country.

According to the respected former President, the turnout of the things in the USA is not the makings of any man, but all rather according to the plans of the God.

He said and we quote "though the African continent still needs "Foreign Direct Investments" the time has come for the continent to show the rest of the world, that it can take charge of her own future". 

He went further to reiterate that "The fact that America produced a Trump in this day and age, means Americans are as human as we are". 

"I am not justifying what African leaders are doing. If our leaders are doing wrong, we should say that they are wrong". 

"Trump has come by "Divine Will" so that America can be humbled and we can also learn a lesson. Nobody can do it for us, and it is all of us and if we do it, we will get it right". 

TAIWO OBASANJO- A MOTHER'S DILEMMA

Could it have been that a mother, who carried her own child for a good 9 months after a very long delay would have wished him, that same son, ill will or bad or evil?

That's a question that begs for some answers and quick ones at that. Now that the bone of contention has been sorted and the deed done, one just thought that the motives at least as explained needs to be examined again.

Olujonwo Obasanjo's mom Taiwo Obasanjo, one of the several wives of Chief Olusegun Aremu Okikiola Obasanjo, the former President of Nigeria and now an elder statesman, went all out to prevent the union between her son and his now beloved Tope from taking place. Apart from the fact that she made a whole lot of noise about it, she raised hell and hoopla to get attention to stop the ceremonies too. She even went as far as instituting a court case against her beloved son and her husband, to prevent the union from been legalised, but the case was thrown out, which allowed for the ceremonies to go on as we all saw it.

So what could have made her go to such length? Is it possible for a so called wicked mother, to go that far, knowing that such a case wouldn't win her sympathy in the court of public opinion? That's why we need to at least dissect her reasons for the vehemence.

She said, that prior to the birth of the child she had been warned via "prophecies" that her son, who took a while before coming must not have a "society wedding/celebrity wedding" (loud wedding), before the age of 34 years. That if the warnings were not strictly adhered to or followed, it would spell doom/disaster.

For cozying up to Ogun State PDP strong man Buruji Kashamu, whom the retired General has accused as being a drug baron, the former President of Nigeria (1999 to 2007), Chief Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo has withdrawn his activities in protest from the beleaguered ruling party in Nigeria- the Peoples Democratic Party. 


At a point in time when all was supposedly good, the two we heard were able to manage themselves and work together. And with another letter bomb coming from the General now becoming very renowned for writing monumental letters, he has announced his withdrawal from a party he helped build to become a colossus that it became, though fast disintegrating now.
 
One of the reasons given by the ex-president for his withdrawal from all activities of the party is because of the chaotic way the party is being run in the south-west geopolitical zone and especially because of how he perceives that someone whom he alleges is a criminal fugitive from the law is being venerated and even made the coordinator of the southwest zone of the PDP.  

Hear him ''While I believe that a good and truly national political party must be a microcosm of the nation in its membership, made up of all sorts of characters from near-saints to near -Satan, I also believe that on no account should a known habitual criminal that is wanted abroad to face criminal charges leveled against him be extolled as a political leader in a respectable and wholesome nation-building political party. Chief Obasanjo this time around, also attached to his 3-paragraph letter, documents/evidence to back up his allegations.

Though Chief Obasanjo says he remains a card carrying member of the PDP, he has withdrawn his activities from the party at both state & national level. 

Would this withdrawal further affect the fortunes of the PDP in his state and nationally? We would get to find out over the course of the weeks and months as things unfolds.
