BRAND SPECIALIST EXTRAORDINAIRE CHARLES O'TUDOR GETS NOD FROM PRO. BEN AYADE

As if to say thank you very much for the past and welcome back on board again by the State Government of Cross River, ably led by Professor Benedict (Ben) Ayade, the Executive Governor of the rich and very beautiful South-South state; PR Guru, Brand Specialist extraordinaire and Communicator par excellence, Charles O'tudor has been engaged by successive governments to help repackage and re-brand the image and the perception of the state and how people, both inside and outside view the oil producing state. The result of this mandate given to him is to be unveiled next week towards the celebration of Cross Rivers @ 50 anniversary.

O'tudor, who is the principal consultant and head honcho at one of West Africa's best strategy brand- Adstrat, is taking off from where he left before, though in another capacity. His extraordinary handprints​ are all over Cross River, where his expertise many areas He was said to have done an extraordinary job when he was engaged then by the government of Liyel Imoke as the head of the Parastatal in charge of outdoor advertising and signages in the state. According to the many encomiums that came his way while saddled with that responsibility, he was able to bring discipline and sanity to what was then seen to have been in utter chaos before, thereby earning good returns for the government. He was also the brain behind many other laudable projects like Destination Cross River, Carnival Calabar just to mention a few.

Now that he has been engaged for another great assignment, expectations are already high and there's​ palpable excitement in the state, as many already know that he has the uncanny ability to always deliver on given mandates​.

Charles O'tudor who is very well known in and outside the industry for his ability to come up with award winning brand principles which are unique to himself, such like oxygenation of brand ideals, deoxygenation of archaic ideas and principles just to mention a few, is expected to immediately help add life to how the state known as the People's Paradise is perceived.

WHERE IS CHARLES O'TUDOR?

A few years ago, Charles O'tudor's name was virtually on everyone's lips. He was the wave-making brand strategist everyone wanted to work with. So good was he at his job, that he had many top brands falling over themselves to be on his client's list. His emergence was like a bolt out of the blue, everything about his brand-Adstrat was attention grabbing, black was the preferred colour and it was visible in all that had to do with the brand, he also had all the big words like cerebral filtration, oxygenation etc. to go with the whole package. To fully complete the package, the tall and handsome dude, who preferred to be addressed as the Principal Consultant at Adstrat, was also a power-dresser, favouring strictly Black and very stylish ensembles and to top it all he boldly carried his dreadlocks with panache. He was a very gifted marketer and had excellent gift of the gab.

The next episode in his evolution was that he cut his dreadlocks and was soon after appointed by his beloved Governor, H.E Senator Liyel Imoke as the brand strategist for his election then, he later became the top gun in charge of everything that had to do with advertising and signage in Cross River, from that moment on the former in your face strategist seemed to have totally gone very quiet, he was not seen at events or even around. At a point some even speculated he had gone broke and had been sent packing by his Landlord. 

A check at his office or former office in G.R.A, Ikeja instead of clearing the air, even adds to the question many would gladly want answers to. The office seems deserted. So we just want to ask the Million Naira question, where is Charles O'tudor?

MRS. NIKE OSHINOWO-SOLEYE SNAGS MULTI-MILLION NAIRA DEAL

Sometimes when some doors gets shut at you, it might be the reason(s) why some better doors get opened. If all we hear is anything to go by, then Ex-Beauty Queen, Chief Mrs. Adenike Oshinowo-Soleye whose franchise contract with the Miss Nigeria Beauty Pageant organizers was not renewed, might have recently gotten a multi-million Naira deal with the Government of Cross-River State.

The deal from the little we could gather is for the former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria-1991 and now former Pageant Director to help plan and organize the UN World Tourism Organization Event which is upcoming later in the year. Some are speculating that about #100 Million Naira might have exchanged hands, we are not so sure about that figure, but as soon as we get better details we would most definitely inform you all.
