There's the Oomph, that package of electric energy that's both enveloping and mad attractive. Her name is MOSUNMOLA, but many refer to her as Mo Abudu, even just Mo most often. Pretty soon like Oprah, just that one name that's already tending towards the iconic would signify full success on all realms. She's already accepted as Africa's nos 1 media mogulette.

In a world, especially in a part of the world, where it takes far more effort for the female, for the woman to succeed and be counted, she against every odds has stood out. The founder of Ebony Life TV, the media moguelette, who is not yet planning to retire or step aside and is still looking forward to doing many firsts, stamping her sure foot on the sands of time, to leave indelible marks for others to follow is 54 today!!!! 54 for Mo like she's only clocking her early 40s.

Mo is the epitome of beauty, grace, Oomph and brilliance all packed together as one. She knows her onions. Long before coming to the limelight via TV, she was already a major successful career woman, where she reigned supreme in the area of human resources/development where she excelled extraordinarily and then she later moved into Entrepreneurship fully and has expected again has done more than excellent. With Ebony Life TV she created a platform that has helped too many people, and many of these people out of gratitude would worship the floor she walks on.

So on the occasion of her clocking just 54 years old, it has been encomiums galore and we too have joined that great train and thought to say to this gorgeous feline of extraordinary package, a most wonderful HBD.

Tick-tock, Tick-tock says the clock as the faint sounds of wedding balls are quietly ringing and jingling somewhere in the horizon. The clouds of merriment are gradually coming together to prepare to show off their beauties. And the jingling and continuous sonorous clanging of the bells would be getting louder and louder as the day goes by towards the D-day, yet to be chosen or better still yet to be announced.

What's coming up? It's none other than the wedding party of Temidayo, the daughter of the dame of TV in Nigeria, that's the one and only Mo ABUDU, the founder of Ebony LifeTV.

Love was in the air just yesterday, when Mo's daughter who works at her mom's company got engaged to her beau by name Adebola and the super elated and doting mama was so happy to let the world know what had just happened when she exclaimed joyfully-

"Good evening beautiful people, I have the best news to share ever💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽, my darling daughter Temidayo got engaged today to the love of her life Adebola. I couldn’t be happier💝🎀. So proud of them both and the love they share. I pray God keeps them both in good health and may God’s light continue to shine on them both 🙏🏾🙏🏾. I am now officially the “mother of the bride to be” 😍❤😍. Work now begins on planning #therealweddingparty💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽. Lord I praise you. Lord I thank you. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽"


Temidayo herself had elatedly exclaimed about her engagement, when she posted -

MO ABUDU'S EBONY LIFE TV CLASSY RECEPTION FOR HOLLYWOOD'S HEARTTHROB JOHN BOYEGA

The appreciative Nigerian society have been falling over themselves to identify and host British-Nigerian actor John Boyega since he landed in Nigeria not too long ago. It has been one event or occasion after the other and we are too sure, the handsome gentleman whose lot has increased in a very shortwhile in Hollywood to stratopheric level, since appearing in StarWars and to now directing his own blockbuster, which is getting loads of positive props must be revelling so much in all the good attention that have been coming his way.

We met the very calm and handsome dude at the reception organised for him by Glenfiditch Whisky at Cloud 9 over the weekend and we thought to observe him at a distance and close up and we were quite impressed with the package. Dude had no unnecessary airs about him and patiently greeted and attended to all that showed interest in him.

We had expected that with the typical Nigerian attitude of being stiff necked and posing unnecessarily, maybe they would be puffed up, with their nose in the air, like beautiful shit was in the air, but alas, even that the event was a black tie, formal event which allowed for unnecessary puffiness, everyone was still relaxed as Brymo performed a medley of his best jams to the admiration of everyone.

So one of the other reception hosted for John Boyega was the one by Ebony Life Tv, where Nigeria's own media moguelette of extraordinary proportion in the person of style icon Mo Abudu calls the shot. As expected it was a cool affair with many in attendance lies ofor RMD, Biola Alabi etc. As expected also, the dazzler personified, that's Mo Abudu for you, was the perfect hostess and she looked gorgeously sweet and standout in her all black ensemble, her sidekick as expected was her daughter.

Though on a personal note, we had expected to see loads and loads of many from Nollywood at this particular interaction/occasion,  we only saw a sprinkling of them RMD, Lala Akindoju and another. One would have expected that such events would have also been for the benefit of the industry also,  which is more likely to gain from such interactions that in the 1st place are very few and far between. But any which way, it was still a cool event from the look of things.

Curiously though, we didn't see top OAP, author and certified celebrity Toke Makinwa, who normally would have graced such events like these- both the Glenfidtch event and Ebony LIfe TV event with her presence looking all fun and gorgeous and classy, maybe its because of the not too palatable encounter they had had recently before. Anyways we know that would soon be sorted out.

LAGOS WOULD BE AGOG ON SUNDAY AS GLAM QUEEN OF TV MO ABUDU GET SET TO RAISE THE BAR ONCE AGAIN!

Imagine that everyone worth their salt are getting prepared for the Arabian magic that is set to unfold and to be unleashed come this Sunday, December 10, 2017.

And the magician of extraordinary repute that is putting the extraordinary showcase that would blow the people's mind away is none other than the elegant glamour queen of TV herself, her royal sweetness, Mo Abudu, the founder/initiator and boss at EbonyLife TV.

What's the occasion? It's none other than the world premiere of "The Wedding Party 2", the sequel to the hilarious "The Wedding Party", which we only just watched for the 1st time a few days back.

We were one of those allowed to have a private view of the new film a few days ago at the Imax filmhouse, Victoria Island and we can tell you without revealing much that this 2nd part is a more big budget endeavour and from the beginning to the end it was comedic excellence at it's best and fun galore. From what we experienced, those that attended nearly laughed their heads off. Many of the cast gave a super great account of themselves. Maybe after the film has premiered officially we would do a more precise critique of the whole thing, the story line, the cast, the acting, the cinematography, the editing and the likes. For now we can tell you without mincing words, that it was an hilarious experience and there was this "good feel factor" about the film. Something very obvious immediately is that the budget was upped and quite heavily too.

Those of us that attended the premiere also had the honour of meeting the crew and the cast that made the whole thing happen.

So the world premiere is this coming Sunday and the style theme is "ARABIAN" in look and ambience! We would all be entralled, transfixed, blown over, mesmerised, gobsmarked etc by the magic that would be displayed and unleashed. The fashionistas, the stylish ones and co, a few that we know, are already going gaga about what to wear and how they want to stand out from all others and upstage all others too at the same time.

Style will meet panache, elegance will connect with glamour, Elan will salute gorgeousness, grace will mix with oomph on Sunday and we promise to bring the whole proceedings to you all LIVE.

We know it's going to be LIT! We are looking forward to have our pick of who would be the "Arabian Sheikh" that will stand out the most that day and would be the most stylish man and also we would be looking out for "queen of Arabia" that day, whose style all others would bow to.

The venue of course like you all already know is the expansive hall of the main hall of the Eko Hotel Victoria Island Lagos. .

We are totally loving that such class of events, occasions are all happening back to back this December, at least adding colour to a year that has been somewhat sudbued, due to the economic meltdown and depression that has affected all comers.

So Sunday, December 10, 2017 here we come!  Maestro's Media would showcase the colours and spectacle of the whole shebang.

Loss for Studio 53 Extra has become the gain of Mo Abudu's Ebony Life TV. Would her co-anchor or host Eku Edewor be following too? We don't know. 

After 3 solid years as co-host of M-Net’s entertainment show ‘53 Extra’, Dolapo Oni has recently signed up with Mo Abudu’s famed talk show ‘Moments With Mo’, which has found a new home as the flagship show at Africa’s first global TV network: Ebony Life TV.

This marks just the start for Dolapo, coming off the back of signing a deal as one of the celebrity ambassadors for bubbly alcoholic beverage, SNAPP.

Dolapo, always keen to perfect her craft and elevate her career to the next level, saw Ebony Life as a fantastic opportunity that couldn't be missed. On moving to this exciting new channel, Dolapo says: “I’m looking forward to being part of history-in –the-making with Ebony Life TV. It’s an amazing team and the perfect new venture for me”.  This is a natural progression for Dolapo and very much in keeping with her passion for arts and current affairs across the board. It will be a role that will show viewers a truly multi-faceted side to Dolapo, paving the way for more exciting ventures to come.

Not shy of hard work or risk-taking, Dolapo didn't rely on her experience as one of Nigeria’s most notable TV presenters, but instead, took the opportunity with Ebony Life TV humbly, by going through the rigorous audition process to secure herself this monumental role.

Moments With Mo will be a daily talk show, due to launch in Africa this July, before rolling on to Sky TV in the UK and DISH in the US.
