AUSTIN OKOCHA SIGNS NEW ENDORSEMENT DEAL WITH BULLET ENERGY DRINK

It seems that for former star footballer and dribbling maestro, who plied his trade in Germany-Eintracht Frankfurt, France- PSG, England-Bolton FC, Hull City & Turkey- Fenerbahce, Qatar- Qatar FC for several years, there's life after playing active football. The man who was referred to as a genius with the ball seem to still be the favourite of many, at least judging by the endorsement deals he has been signing of late. 

He has just become the brand ambassador for Bullet Energy Drink. 

Bullet Energy Drink produced by multi-national company, Sun Mark, one of the leading energy drinks in Nigeria, has recently tied up with Nigerian Football legend Austin ‘JayJay’ Okocha as one of its Brand Ambassadors following up on its recent announcement that Nigerian Actress Chika Ike was also unveiled earlier in the year as one of the faces of the international beverage brand.

“It was an easy decision to choose JayJay as a face for Bullet Energy drink. His commitment to excellence, his work ethic even after retiring from active football and his liveliness are all qualities we identify with. It’s a just great match.” said one of the management officials close to the negotiations.

JayJay’s numerous career laurels include winning the Africa Nations Cup in 1994, Olympic Gold winner in Atlanta 1996, being the most expensive African player when PSG splashed $24 million on him in 1998, BBC African footballer of the year in 2004, and very few Nigerians would forget that goal where he virtually dribbled half the Karlsruhe defense to score past a flailing Oliver Kahn!

ANOTHER MULTIMILLION NAIRA DEAL FOR IYANYA

 

IYANYA & PRAIZ A FEW YEARS AGO BEFORE MEGA SUCCESS. NOTHING MUCH AS CHANGED

We can bet that a few years ago that Iyanya would never have dreamt that he would turn out this big. No doubt he is one of the top 10 artistes in Nigeria presently, raking in deals after deals and having in his accounts money with several zeros in 6 digits at the back. We must bless the good Lord for this good fortune and pray that the goodness never abates and continues from strength to strength. 

Just recently, we heard that Chinese multinational technology company Lenovo just signed an endorsement deal with the ''Your Waist'' crooner. The deal is said to be in the region of N30 million Naira. So you can see why we said the good Lord seem to be smiling on him. From MTN deal-between N40 to N60 million to Solo Phone deal- $220,000 cash & 2014 Prado SUV, to Zinox- $350,000 and now to Lenovo- N30 million. Not only would there be good money in his accounts, you can also be sure that gadgets of all kinds would have been made available for his use. We just dey jealous sha!!! But in a good way. Now you can see why he can have a collection of monster cars, from Benz to Prado to Range Rover and more.

So which is next? Microsoft, SPOG petrochemicals or a deal with the FG?

N20MILLION ENDORSEMENT DEAL FOR SEYI SHAY FROM ETISALAT

Coming back home now by hindsight must surely be one of the very best decisions Seyi Shay must have made in her life existence till date. After trying all this while in the UK to make a head way as an artiste, being signed on with others by Matthew Knowles (Beyonce's Dad), it wasn't until she returned to Nigeria, that her fortune seemingly changed for the best. Now all she had always ever wanted and more are just falling over themselves for her. The clouds have seemingly arranged together and the rain of blessings have begun to pore. 

Since landing in Naija, goodwill and good fortune has seemingly surrounded this sonorously blessed but very humble one. Now we truly understand why when she's singing her hit single- Irawo, she always does so with so much gusto and heart.Truly her star has begun to shine ever so brightly.

The delectably gorgeous one we hear has just put pen to paper on a deal said to be worth N20 million? with communication's company- Etisalat. (Amount of deal not confirmed by the parties involved yet).
 
Is this not a fantastic way of ending the year? Etisalat too seems to have joined bandwagon in the frenzy to sign up stars like their other counterparts MTN & GLO. So who is next?

BANGER LEE BACK ON THE GLO TRAIN.........

Hmmmm, Ose, E JA N LA IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!! D banj is back with Glo again.....

This new Glo/D bANJ deal is most probably the biggest ever signed by anyone in the entertainment industry, sign posting what many have said before, that D Banj is currently the biggest music/entertainment personality this side of the divide. 

Now we are sure that the management of D banj's company would be hitting their chest saying they were justified in holding out against taking peanuts from the communication's giant years back. D banj had in 2010 fallen out with the same company when he refused to extend his then 70million Naira contract, which he had signed in 2008. One of the other things he had also asked for then was a N2million fee per performance for the Glo Campus tour.

It was thought then that instead of giving the same kind of contract given to the singing/dancing duo that make up P-Square said to be worth N240million, D Banj was offered considerably less than even the N70million he had been signed on to before. So since both parties couldn't agree on something, everyone had to go their way. 

Now after 3 years of both sides grandstanding and not yielding, a compromise was seemingly reached recently, with the odds a lot more on the entertainer's (D banj) side. Though figures have not been revealed or released, we hear the amount agreed on is colossal. Apparently what seem to have triggered the new contracts (D banj & Wande Coal), is the way the competitors MTN & Etisalat seem to have obliterated the others in a signing frenzy. Don Jazzy, KCee, Iyanya, Wizkid, Davido, Olamide, Ice Prince etc all signing very lucrative contracts with the other communication brands. Olamide & Ice Prince just signing on as brand ambassadors with Etisalat. We even heard D Banj might have been on the verge of signing a contract with Etisalat, before Glo came back and pulled a fast one to get their former ambassador back.

So if one would look at it very well, who comes bigger in the music industry right now than D Banj aka Eja Nla aka Banger Lee? None actually. So a good one for Glo then.

So D Banj is back on the Glo Train; a train that includes the likes of PSquare, Burna Boy, Naeto C, MI, Lynxxxx, Omawunmi, Bez, Waje & Flavour; That's a good company, don't you all think? 

So in the new week, we await the official announcement of the new marriage.  So D banj might have added another toga, to his many togas, that of a prophet. Remember that his jam where he was talking about money money money money!!! It's like his prophecy has come true.
