What could have warranted the former beauty or should it be said approximately, the ex-beauty queen's total disappearance from the public view?

The tall and excitingly beautiful Ene was one of those celebrities then that embraced the social media with much aplomb and vigor. No day goes by without her fans and followers seeing one or two or in fact three or more of her pictures on the gram looking 'scrumptiously hot-hot', with the over-load of oomph. Ene who was Miss Nigeria 2004, that's a whole 15 good years ago and in fact the longest serving Miss Nigeria in the history of the now comatose pageant to date, having reigned all of 6 good years from 2004 till 2010 before she relinquished the crown to another queen, is a noted, quite undoubted fashionista of the highest caliber.

Maybe it was that her 'intimidating wardrobe' which we had vowed and that left our mouth wide agape and that was the envy of all, by both the older and younger fashionistas alike, that made her embraced Instagram so much then. But all of sudden now, it seems like the 6 footer avid traveler, foodie, celebrity and entrepreneur, who owns her own name sake lifestyle business-'Ene Maya', has since given the social media a wide berth. It seems also like she has taken down totally, her instagram page/handle in a deliberate way to stay totally off the radar. Seems like she doesn't want to be seen again. Seems like she has adopted or embraced the stealth or incognito, invisible mode in totality.

The last time we had heard about the lady with those incredibly smoldering and sexy 👀 eyes, she was said to have been putting finishing touches to her own impressive property somewhere and then right after that she just disappeared off the scene. We aren't too sure if it was her we saw from afar at the last Gtb Fashion Weekend 2018 just gliding about inside the expansive compound of the event.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the graceful 30 plus lady, who is still probably one of Nigeria’s most eligible bachelorettes, should please help tell her that we have missed her presence most especially on the social scene and she should please return to quickly and with more bang than before.

An unrepentant fashionista to the core, with a wardrobe that's outta this world, we bear witness to that fact! We can tell you for a fact that it is a wardrobe/closet to die for, but that's literally though! A mix of the elegant classics and the new standouts and she's got the frame to carry the fashion with much aplomb and necessary oomph!!! Nice long limbs, well proportioned chest, good neck, all the works we dare say.

She's the longest reigning beauty queen ever in the history of proper and well documented pageants in Nigeria. Just imagine reigning for 6 undisturbed years before another queen was crowned to take over from her just about nearing the 7th year! She was Miss Nigeria from 2004 till December of 2010!

Since she appeared and came into our consciousness, she has held sway ever since, not letting go at all and not even wanting to relent at all. She, like a good wine has continually matured as the years have gone by.

Her style game is super top notch, with classy outfits and accessories to match. She's in fact a shoe freak with awesome shoegasm, whose unbelievable collection would open a classy  store without a whimper. Her perfume collection is also said to be legendary too.

The budding entrepreneur, milliner with about 3 branches 2 in Lagos and one in Abuja is gradually walking her way towards iconic status, fashion and style wise though!

Is she or is she "still" not a stunner?

ENE MAYA-LAWANI EXTENDS BUSINESS FRONTEIR

The very delectable Ex-Miss Nigeria, Miss Ene Maya-Lawani and incidentally the longest to have reigned on the throne for 6 years (2004-2010) is not resting on her oars at all business wise.

The statuesque ex-queen, has just sealed a deal with one of the best lifestyle stores in Abuja, the FCT to carry her hair accessories & turbans. 

She was in Abuja some days back to seal the deal with the Executives of the luxury store. Her contract with the luxury brand, means that The Library would carry Ene Maya Collection in all their stores or branches at any of their locations, making the collection available to more of the accessories connoisseurs.

According to the owners of the store, represented by their PR Agent, Miss Nuella- "We are extremely excited to have her products in our stores. This is Abuja; we love our head accessories here! And Ms Lawani understands and translates that beautifully."

Not 1, not even 2, not even 3, but 4 of them at a go. And at a point in time they were all beauty queens. And truth be told, they are still gorgeous anyday and would still give some of the new queens a good run for their money. 

Check out Ene Lawani, who till tomorrow is still the longest reigning beauty queen ever in the history of beauty pageants in Nigeria. 2004 till 2010. The gorgeous one, still in her late 20's, is still a stunner any day. Then there's Sylvia Nduka, who was the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2011, who since after her reign has entered into private business, she's owns her own hair brand amongst other things and we hear she's making a kill from it, making sure to get the university students and co. We hear she has opened a restaurant also in one of the higher institutions in Lagos (though that information is not fully confirmed).  Then there's Nwando Okwuosa, whose predecessor was Sylvia Edem 2002, the still very gorgeous one who was Miss Nigeria 2003, she was the one who handed over to Ene Lawani. Then there's Cecilia Ohumotu Bissong, who was the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2003, the now accounting graduate of the City University of New York is still as gorgeous as they come.

MODE MEN BLACK NIGHT 7- APRIL, 2013- ALL THE HAPPENSTANCES & PICTURES

This year 2013, marks the 7th anniversary of Abubakar Tafawa-Balewa's labour of love & sweat. It's none other than the brand known to all as Mode Men. Undoubtedly one of the best packaged men's magazine in Nigeria. That the brand is still existing in a country like ours that most often does not support non-criminal and good initiative has been by the grace of God. 


So to show to the world, that it has been God all this while, the 7th anniversary edition of the magazine was dedicated to God. A form of thank you for thus far yet he has blessed the brand. 

To also mark the 7th anniversary of the brand, the publisher's of the magazine like they usually do had their annual ''Black Night gathering. This year's edition was tagged ''Black Night 7, and venue of choice was the compact hall of the Radisson Blu Hotel, on Ozumba Mbadiwe Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. Unlike how they normally do the event, this particular one was a more intimate, much smaller event, that had only 60 of the friends and supporters and sponsors of the brand in attendance. 

We saw a few of those we know, one of who was the longest reigning Miss Nigeria ever, Ene Maya-Lawani, we also saw the likes of Frank Edohor, Moriam Musa, Juliet Morgan, Donald Obaseki, Joseph Edgar, Uche Nnaji of Ouch!, Okey Bakassi, Yinka Davies, Seyi Shay, Amy Ajuonuma, Bobby Karibi-Whyte, Aisha Shaba, Alex Ekubo, Uti Nwachukwu, Taryor Gabriel, Bukky George, Amaechi Okobi, and a host of others. 

It was a 'funstatic' & cosy setting, devoid of unnecessary frills. Aisha & Abu were the compere and they did a good straight forward job. Abu spoke about his journey so far in our terrain, Okey Bakassi spoke on the fact that we need to support ourselves and thereafter Seyi Shay gave a sonorously fantastic acapella of one of her great songs; immediately after was an auction, where 2 great paintings by some famous Nigerian artists were auctioned and then an 18 karat Rose Gold leather Chopard and all the proceeds from the auction was in support of the Down Syndrome organization. The auction was fun and interactive and it showed that at least a few Nigerians cared and are their brother's keepers. One of the paintings raised close to half a million. All this was going on while dinner was served. 

As was expected of the brand, everyone of the invited guests went home with a gift laden goody bag each in their hands- that had the new edition of the magazine, a Mode Men note pad, a book, many parfum testers from Bond nos. 9, female purses for ladies and small men bags for the guys . It was most definitely a great event. And it was all for just about 2 hours 30 minutes.

She's one of the nicest and most kind-hearted human beings we know and many of those who know her can attest to this fact. 

Today, Saturday, January 12, 2012 is the Ex-Miss Nigeria's birthday and because she's a jolly good fellow, who her friends have tagged Miss Dependable, some of these friends gathered this early morning to host her to a breakfast gathering and it was a swell one. Venue was the Radison Blu on Ozumba Mbadiwe, Victoria Island, Lagos.

OLD QUEEN & THE NEW QUEEN. COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS- Who is the real deal?

The are both beauty queens ( Ex-queen & reigning Queen). When we said old, it had nothing to do with the age; it’s just to denote how long ago it was that she reigned supreme as Miss Nigeria. Ene Maya Lawani, is unarguably the beauty Queen with the longest reign in the history of beauty pageants in Nigeria, all of 6 years-(2004 to 2010) as Miss Nigeria. Truth be said, true beauty only gets better as the day passes, just like old wine, it gets better with age. Ene is still in her 20's and she still gorgeous.

Isabella Agbor Ayuk on the hand, is the reigning Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2012, she won the crown at a keenly contested event in Benin, Edo State a few weeks ago, it was the 25th anniversary edition of the Silverbird organised competition, and she represented Cross-River. According to reports, she is a veteran at doing beauty pageants. Having won the Queen of the South-South, Nigeria crown in 2007, Miss Global International crown in 2009, before she  became the MBGN this year-2012. Some have even speculated she contested at the 2004 edition of the Miss Nigeria competition. This unproven assertion she has vehemently denied.

While Ene is from Benue State, Isabella is proudly Cross-Riverian, she was recently hosted by her home state Governor- Liyel Imoke a few days ago. Both are tall girls, light in complexion and with gorgeous body shapes, by that we mean well-endowed in all the right places.

We have known Ene over the years to be very stylish with her tall frame always in the gorgeous attires, assesorizing with very nice shoes and bags, looking gloriously elegant. Isabella on the hand has only just come into our consciousness of recent, but we have seen a Louboutin here and there and she seems to favour the simple and classic.
