IN CELEBRATION OF WHAT COUNTS, WHAT MATTERS & WHAT IS BEST. VERONICA EBIWEMI OMOFOMA

We need to always look for and to celebrate in this part of the world, achievements and things that counts and that really makes sense. Not always about such people and such acts that do not edify nor inspire others, but people and actions that says and markets hardwork and perseverance as positive things.

So we have made up our mind, that we would from now on allow our platform to celebrate those kind of positive achievers, who can also positively inspire others to do the right and correct things. We would do our best to educate and inform, while also at the same time exposing what needs to be exposed.

The young lady here by name "Veronica Ebiweni Omofoma" at just 28 is a genius from Nigeria that is worth celebrating to high heavens for all the right things.

She studied for her 1st degree in "Electrical Electronic Engineering" at the University of Hull in the United Kingdom, where she came out with a "First-class degree" and she even graduated as the "best overall graduating student at the University. Then she went on immediately to do her Master's, with a distinction in Petroleum Geophysics and Underwater Science at the London Imperial College, not yet done, she went further at still at her young age of 28 and she already has her PhD too!

Now that she's done with all the academics, we are too sure that she has the universe in front of her as her oyster. This is one extraordinary trailblazer in the making set to take over the world and we are happy to celebrate her and others like her.

Thanks to Alibaba the king of comedy, for bringing her to our attention!

BOKO HARAM KID VICTIM ALI RETURNS WITH BOUNCE ON HIS LEGS AFTER SUCCESSFUL OPERATION

The young kid, Little Ali Ahmadu whose life and future had seemingly been devastated by the dastardly Boko Haram sect by an attack that had consigned him to the wheel chair awaiting a life of most probably begging or as a destitute (cripple), is now back in the country after his very successful operation in Dubai which lasted all of 3 months that has restored spring to his feet and bounce to his gait.

The young dude whose legs have been restored back to normal was in high spirit and was all smiles as he was shown to the media bouncing on his legs. He said he was fine and would love to become a policeman so as to help others and save them from harm.

With him back hale and hearty, ready to face the future head long, the foundation that helped to get him back on his feet has also promised to fund his education too. In furtherance of their philanthropic gesture to Ali, the foundation has also announced a scholarship that would take care of the little boy's education from the primary up to the tertiary institution.

OMOYAJOWO KOLAWOLE 400 LEVEL STUDENT OF EKITI STATE UNIVERSITY SLAMS GOVERNOR FAYOSE- PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS!

Peter Ayodele Fayose
OMOYAJOWO KOLAWOLE (JUSTICE OF THE MOOT COURT FACULTY OF LAW EKSU) WRITES FAYOSE.

AN OPEN LETTER TO GOVERNOR AYODELE FAYOSE ON YOUR RECENT PUBLIC STATEMENT DURING YOUR SON'S CONVOCATION CEREMONY IN COVENANT UNIVERSITY.

Your Excellency, do permit me to firstly appreciate the role you have been playing in the recent contemporary Nigeria politics particularly ensuing a vibrant opposition stance against the ruling political party at the federal level.Though your critique are sometimes tainted with some moral and legal shortcomings but nevertheless, you have adequately become a watchdog on the perceived excesses and the functional inadequacies of the federal government. More importantly, I salute your courage to intend contesting for the office of the Nigeria president whether in the forthcoming 2019 election or subsequent general elections in the nearest years.

Your Excellency, I always acquaint myself with all your activities in Ekiti State and public utterances on issues bordering on the federal government, some of which I agree with you and vice versa. However, the most recent of your public statement cum political criticism during your son's convocation ceremony in convenant university which is the crux of this letter has geared my apt reaction as it indirectly affects me and many other students in public universities particularly in Ekiti State University.

Thus, I have decided to address you on it and make it viral moreso that you have a penchant for making all issue public.
With special reference to the Premium Times Newspaper on the 21st of July, 2016, you were reported to have said that public office holders should stop sending their children to universities outside Nigeria, as all your children are schooling within Nigeria. And that it is by this act of yours, if emulated by other public officers holders, our educational institution can be given the much needed attention, improved and refined.

However your opinion may seem right to you given your intellectual assessment, I make bold to say that you have no moral justification to vindicate your self of such disease that have afflicted many of the Nigerian politicians. It is axiom in law that he who comes to equity must come with a clean hand.

DO YOU HAVE A CLEAN HAND IN THIS REGARD?

More after the break.
