We just came across this very recently and we thought all concerned should know about the latest development. An organisation claiming to have the rights to FTV projects in Nigeria and some other parts of West Africa has been disclaimed by the ftv.
The brand had planned a press conference for Lagos at one of the high brow hotels on the Island-Four Points by Sheraton to be more precise. The hotel we hear might have given support towards the press conference, especially since the organisers of the conference had claimed they were the only authentic brand licensed by FTV to hold and package events in Nigeria using the FTV logo and brand name. The brand had even gone ahead to make subtle hints that the owner of the very successful brand Mr. Michel Adams would soon be attending their event in Nigeria, a claim that has been found to be false and a total figment of the imagination of the organisers of the press conference.
We came across a letter from the fashion organisation (FTV) only yesterday, Tuesday, January 15, 2013, disclaiming the company organising the press conference. The letter was addressed to Mr. Noel Uche Okonmah from Ms. Zaineb Alnaher, Fashiontv/Contract Management.

Dear Mr. Noel Uche Okonmah
It has come to our attention that you have been using Fashiontvs brand name and trademarks in Africa without having the rights hereto.
We have received several complaints over the past months, which are damaging the reputation of our company.

The organizers are planning to put together what they say would be the biggest, classiest and the most fun to be at party in Nigeria come Saturday, October 20, 2012. It's a collaboration between the organizers of the Nigeria Next Super Model competition, that is Isis Model Africa and Fashion TV.

On the catwalk that night, would be loads and loads of some of the best modelling talents in Nigeria & Africa. We hear that the night would one that many would never forget in a hurry.
