FUNKE AKINDELE & HUSBAND JJC SKILLZ CELEBRATES 1ST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY WITH THE RELEASE OF NEVER BEFORE SEEN WEDDING PICTURES

August 23, 2016 last year was when these 2 stars, that is funny lady Funke Akindele-Bello and her beau Abdul Rasheed-Bello aka JJC SKILLZ had their very private nuptial in London.

Until yesterday, when the finally released their wedding shots, none had ever seen the evidence of that delightsome day.

So finally after 365 days of marital bliss, it's so obvious these ones are so into each other, they have thought to release those nice pictures with Funke in her wedding white and London boy JJC in his tails for the public view.

We totally love how the couple have done their best to keep their marriage private and not necessarily much of a public affair.

We celebrate this anniversary with them and insha Allah would help celebrate many more in the future.

The 4 above named stars/Celebrities, star actress and comedienne extraordinaire, Funke Akindele aka Jenifa, songbird extraordinaire, who would give the nightingale a run for its money, in the person of Waje, one of Nigeria's most visible Designers, in the person of Ohimai Atafo, more known as Mai Atafo and fine boy actor whose stock has really risen of late, in the person of Alex Ekuno  were all unveiled a few days ago as one part of those to compete in the BAKEOFF.

With just a few days to the much-anticipated Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards, Nigeria’s only premium low sugar malt drink, Amstel Malta treated A-list celebrities and guests to a classy brunch this morning, Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the WheatBaker Hotel, Ikoyi,Lagos.

The well-attended event, organised by Multi Choice and hosted by the exciting malt brand, witnessed some of Nollywood’s finest actors and actresses including Funke Akindele, Ivie Okujaye, Mercy Aigbe, Nkiru Sylvanus, Michelle Dede, Bimbo Manuel among many other nominees.

Nominees to the prestigious awards expressed excitement over their nominations and commended Amstel Malta’s laudable efforts to impact the African movie industry through its sponsorship of AMVCA.

It sounds unbelievable yes, but it's the truth. The signs that all was not well from just a few months after the big society wedding was glaring but everyone kept mute, wanting to see how things would unfold. After doing her best to patch it up, trying to see whether things could be worked out. At the end, the center could not hold together again and what was obvious and sure to happen has finally happened, Funke & her 1 year and few months husband have decided to pack it up. No more pretense!!!


Many who had seen the signs from the beginning had wondered at what the very humble actress was getting herself into, when she decided that Kehinde Oloyede was her choice. The guy was already married before and some had speculated he had already fathered between 8 and 10 kids from different women. So it was like the actress had of her own free will worked into a quagmire. Love truly must have been blind some exclaimed. 

The husband announced the separation today by himself on the Social Media via his Facebook page thus- 

"It’s with heavy heart that am announcing the separation of me nd ma wife Mrs olufunke akindele,we’ve both agreed to go our separate ways coz of irreconcilable differences.we still best of friends nd we 4ever remain gud friends.

He went on to add further-  ''Am doing just fine, gettn along without u,don't need y anymore in ma lie.u d greatest mistake av made in recent time."

And with those terse & rather insulting words he declares his marriage was over. A terrible shame we dear say.

JENIFA (OLUFUNKE AYOTUNDE AKINDELE) PICKS MAY 26, 2012 FOR WEDDING

Funke Akindele is undoubtedly one of Nigeria's most loved Nollywood actresses, she especially endeared herself to many with her portrayal of the hilarious wannabe in Jenifa and the Return of Jenifa. Some have also gone on to say that the film is one of the highest selling Nigerian films of all time.

 That's not news, what's news is that another Nollywood wedding is in the offing. Apparently some have made up their minds that 2012 would not pass them by. So come Saturday, May 26, 2012, the deliciously sweet and very well-mannered actress would be getting married, although it would be the engagement and traditional wedding in May, the white wedding would be upcoming at a date in December of 2012.

And who is the lucky dude? His name from our findings is- Kehinde Oloyede, a Nollywood outsider, said to be in his 40's. The actress and her dude her said to have been dating for quite a while now and only just decided to formalise their relationship very recently, he is said to be into Property and Estate Management and has done very well for himself.

Olufunke Ayotunde Akindele, who by Saturday, May 26, 2012 would have become Mrs Kehinde Oloyede, would be 36 years old this year, born August 24, 1976 in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
