WHEN MRS. FLORENCE AJIMOBI OUTGOING 1ST LADY OF OYO CLOCKED 60 & THE LAVISH PARTY TO CELEBRATE THE MILESTONE.

This family, that's talking about the outgoing 1st family of Oyo State, the Ajimobis, led by their patriarch in the person of Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Executive Governor of the pacesetter state have enjoyed an 8 year period of bliss (with some occasional bleeps) in Governance. That's talking about 8 birthdays of all kinds that were celebrated & also a few very lavish weddings too and some other occasions and events too. From when the 1st lady was just 52 years old, when they just came to rule then, till now that she's going away at just 60 years of age these family have enjoyed great attention and they have reveled in it. Madam is still as gorgeous as they come. Dr. Mrs. Ajimobi as truly and very obviously taken care of herself over the years very well.

So in a way this particular birthday, though highly significant because madam has now joined the 60s club (she's now a sexagenarian), it was also some form of send off or send forth for the family. As this was going to be one of the last major celebrations they would have whilst still in Government. So no stone was left unturned to make sure that this was lavish, epic or standout in all ramifications. It was an occasion that was awashed with plenty of prayers, with loads of praise and worship songs. In fact, the guest artiste of the day was none other than the world famous gospel crooner Sinach, who serenaded the birthday mama with her powerful and soul lifting voice. It was a very happy mood all through. The quick gloom from the earlier disappointment of not winning the elections in Oyo State, especially as the Governor was denied powerfully the opportunity of going back again to the Senate seem to have disappeared totally. Now it's all about relief. What does he want again when money is over available like an unlimited fountain that can't be stopped?

Madam in her speech at the occasion was especially magnanimous in her appreciation of her loving husband, who she praised to high heavens and the whole family too. Though madam is a practising Christian, a catholic by upbringing, who is said to be half Lebanese, her husband is a practising Moslem, but both live so good together they should be an example of harmonious living for all.

The 60 year old 1st lady was born in Benin, the capital of the then Bendel state on 'April 5, 1959' to the Hajaig family from Lebanon. So she is née Florence Hajaig. She grew up and schooled in in the ancient city of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital and is in fact an Ibadan woman to the core. She had all her schooling in Ibadan, from the primary at "Bodija International School, Ibadan" to the secondary at "Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School, Ibadan" to the tertiary at "The Polytechnic, Ibadan" where she got her degree in Secretarial Studies and Management. Her work career also began in Ibadan too. The mother of 5 adorable children, 4 girls (women) with Abisola Kolapo Daisi as the eldest & a boy (man) who is married to Fatima Ajimobi née Ganduje. She married her doting husband who she's extremely close to till tomorrow in 1980.

It was dance galore at a point during the party, and Abisola being a hotstepper of note, gave the usual good account of herself doing the music good justice.

Happy birthday to the Matriarch of the Ajimobi clan. Long may you live.

MORE PICTURES CELEBRATING DR MRS FLORENCE AJIMOBI'S 59TH BIRTHDAY

Idris Abolaji Abiola-Ajimobi, 1st Lady & Fatima Abiola-Ajimobi

So the post before was more of and about what madam 1st lady did to celebrate her 59th birthday. But this post is more about her close family, made up here of her kids, which includes the husbands and wife (Fatima) of her kids.

The beautiful family had on a beautiful Aso ebi, that was simple yet beautiful. And it is obvious they all dote so much on the Lebanese born Nigerian.

Maybe it was because of the recent humonguos wedding ceremony they had just had that they had to do a more quiet birthday celebration, but all in all how the birthday specifically and particularly centred on charity is most definitely commendable. That particular gift of a well built, well equipped Information Technology building at "The Polytechnic Ibadan" might have written madam's name in gold forever. It's an effort or a gesture that all others must emulate.

YET MORE ON THAT 1ST CLASS & HUMONGOUS LEFE CEREMONY IN KANO!!!

Fatima Abdullahi Umar Ganduje

Mrs. Florence AJIMOBI, 1st lady Oyo

Dr. Hafsat Abdullahi Umar Ganduje 1st lady Kano

Just imagine that the "Lefe ceremony" is already this top notch, this upscale, how then would the traditional wedding, and the Nikkai itself then be?

We and other news medium had said the gifts that exchanged hands came in "27 Louis Vuitton monogram bags/cases", if they were that "lifestyle" about the containers then just imagine the jewelry collection- diamonds and other precious stones, laid on gold or platinum or other ornamental metals and many other first class gifts that would have exchanged hands!

People shouldn't over think things in any way or manner about the gifts or value of them, the Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola AJIMOBI, long before he became the 2 term executive Governor of his beloved state, was already a well made, very liquid man, who had risen to the top of his vocation long before he joined politics.

Back to the Lefe, in attendance were at least about 10 first ladies, who had come along to support 2 of their own, in the persons of Mrs. Florence AJIMOBI, the wife and 1st lady of the Governor of Oyo State and Dr. Hafsat Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, wife and 1st lady of the Governor of Kano State.

From the little we could gather, at least about 3 private jets flew in into Kano for the little ceremony, which also had 2 former Governors in attendance to give support.

Apart from the ceremony, the Oyo State entourage also went to pay homage to his royal majesty, the Emir of Kano Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi II, who is like the father of the gorgeous bride, acting on behalf of the actual dad, the Governor.

We are eagerly looking forward to this upcoming spring wedding, as we believe it would be L.I.T!

More after the break. More very colourful PICTURES.

OYO STATE'S HELMSMAN SENATOR ABIOLA AJIMOBI & WIFE LUXURIATES ON A YACHT

We don't know why relaxing, when it is highly needed needs to cause any form of hoopla whatsoever. Even doctors world over recommends it. And it seems like that was the case with the discovery of the above picture.

The Yoruba's having a time honoured saying that goes thus "The very relentlessly hardworking one, also deserves the time and luxury to relax too", it's an assertion that we readily agree with strongly, especially as another saying says "All work and no play, makes Jack a full boy"!

So after all the stress of governance in his state, coupled with the myriads of other things that he has to grapple with everyday, everytime, the lovable executive Governor of the state of Oyo, in fact the record breaking 2nd termer in the person of his Excellency, Senator Abiola Ajimobi and his wife, Florence who is still a delectable beauty  any day took time very recently, to have their own "me"/us" time away from the whole weight of stress. At least so that the Governor can see clearly too. No one wants any dullness of any kind!

From the look of things, it is obvious that both very loving couple didn't allow any thing of any kind to disturb both from luxuriating on the luxury yatch or boat they were on, breathing clean air endlessly and having a fun and very relaxing time. It's very obvious from the picture that this 2 are so very into each other and enjoys each others good company.

Now we know the secret behind many of the great decisions of his excellency.

Kudos sir and madam! More grease!
