EFCC TO OTHER SECURITY AGENCIES-KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN FOR PETER THE ROCK!

Since that election lost in Ekiti State earlier this year, when his sponsored candidate Prof. Eleka was pummelled into submission, Nigeria's number 1 official motor mouth, the irrepressible Peter 'the Rock' Ayodele Fayose, just quietly went into his cocoon, not mouthing off like he used to do before. Like the Yorubas would say, Enu ti wo ooooo!!

It was like that election defied his understanding and totally affected his psyche in a massive way, it took him to lala land and it has taken him a longwhile to recover. Imagine that he was actually brought down from his high horse and was practically slammed down, embarrassingly at that. Imagine that after he had assured his ward as per the election, that no matter what, he was going to win the election for him, just the way he had done the previous time with full aid of the FG and then he lost!!!!

Now with the only option left being the Courts, who can still swing things his way or better still their way, if they can show compelling reasons why the election results needs to be upturned.

So while still grappling with how to go away without issues, having being brought down from his height of extreme self delusion and over engorged ego, imagine now that another problem, major one at that already awaits him, in the mold of the EFCC. The organization from thr look of it, have him under watch and has already asked the Customs and most likely other security parastatals to also keep a keen eye on the outgoing Governor, so that he wouldn't perform the Houdini (a disappearing act) as soon as his tenure finishes and he has handed over to his successor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, so he can at least answer some questions, the organisation might think needs answers to.

We are only just hoping that prophecy wouldn't be coming into fruition or past as it concerns "pastor" Peter Ayodele Fayose, as a prophet had predicted a while back then, that the Governor would only be transiting from the Government house to jailhouse!

A so called concerned Nigerian sent in all the pictures above, showing the humonguous car collection of the very distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Dino Melaye, 44, representing Kogi West Senatorial District.

And the first reaction from us is basically, no be today now!!!! Why would anyone be so shocked for any reason by such a collection, that if conservatively valued cannot be less than 200 million NAIRA. The cars in the collection range from a Ferrari, to a Lamborghini to a 2 Rolls Royce, 2 Range Rivers, a Bentley, 2 Mercedes Benz S Class, A G Wagon and a couple of other American fancy cars. As much or as many as the car might seem, it is just chicken feed any day, anytime for a distinguished Senator of Nigeria, especially with the kind of money they earn and take home.

According to the information available, a large part of it though unconfirmed, a Senator in Nigeria earns between N162 million per annum (that's N13. 5 million per month) to about (3 billion Naira each per annum, according to Prof. Itse Sagay).

So if our award winning and very agile actor of a Senator at 44 year old, who could climb a tree so super fast and then like the great escapist Houdini could disappear atop the tree without a trace, using the tree's foliage as a perfect camouflage wants to now use a sizeable chunk of his hard earned money, to indulge in one of his hobbies, which is the acquisition and collection of super cars, then who can blame him or hold him to ransom? The beauty of it all is that, the great and uncompromisingly Senator from Kogi has never hidden his love and acquisition from anyone, like an open book, he flaunts his wealth for all to see and salivate on. Unlike many of his other stupendously wealthy colleagues, who hides!

MATTERS ARISING! WAS MAINA BEING PREPPED & PRIMED FOR BORNO STATE?

This Mainagate issue much as the Government would want for it to go away quickly and vaporise into thin air, like it never existed after the unprecedented hoopla it has generated; has refused to go quietly under the carpet.

In the face of it all, it has left much to be desired and has cast aspersions on many and has shown the incompetence of many, while also exposing many for who they truly are.

This particular incidence has given a major boost to the voice of the opposition also, who have gone into a "crazy frenzy", "brandishing their blood sucking fangs" and "highly sharpened claws" having seen and found an unmissable and an unmistakable opportunity to extract their own bloody pound of flesh and they have shouted themselves hoarse already and wouldn't just let it go at all, until all would hear and react.

But the main man at the middle of the mess himself, in the person of the ex-Pension Reform Task Team "PRTT boss Abdul-Rasheed Maina" has shown an uncanny and unbelievable ability at disappearing into thin air, without trace at a prompt! Maina in his former life, must have been a "magician of extraordinary ability", whose speciality in the business of hocus-pocus was to disappear into thin air right in front of his onlookers, which includes his enemies, rivals, friends and fans etc. Side by side with "the great Houdini", if there was ever a competition, we are of the opinion and too sure that Maina would have won hands-down as per his super acts!

So what's this gist that we are hearing that's not too clear? That what if the subterfuge to quietly allow him back into the main stream and promote him to the next position in one fell swoop had worked, there was the possibility that he might later have transformed to become a gubernatorial candidate of a party at the next election! Wow that would have definitely been an exquisite plan, that was gradually unfolding!

Reason being that he is supposed to have a colossal amount/funds stored away  and at his beck and call, which would have been good enough to prosecute an election into the Borno Government house!

Are we foolish? Let's just leave it at that for now!
