It's like Banke Meshida-Lawal has been with us for so so long. Far longer than she really has been. Her name is synonymous with the growth of Make Up artistry in Nigeria and in fact Africa as a whole. She can be tagged very well without any controversies whatsoever as one of the grand icons of the trade, who totally elevated it to a stratospheric level. So she deserves our kudos!
Her growing clientele list reads the who-is-who of the society and beyond, many of whom would not accept that another would touch them up. Names like Hajia Bola Shagaya, Mo Abudu and the likes are on that awesome list. To many, she's like the Michaelangelo, Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh, Salvador Dali, Rembrandt of Make up/beauty artistry and truth be told, she has earned her stripes, and gallantly too at that. If she were into shoe making she would be ranked side by side one of the greats like Christian Louboutin or Charlotte Olympia, if she were a fashion designer, she would run shoulders with icons the likes of Giorgio Armani or Karl Lagerfeld. That just tells you just how good, how magical she is with her brush, in fact some feel she is a magician of great skills. At a point she was even the official make up artist to a sitting 1st lady of Nigeria, in the person of Madam Dr. Patience Jonathan.
The "incredible celebrity make-up artist and make up brand owner" & a budding photographer (men she takes some mean pictures!) to add to the boot, clocked the good 40 yesterday, August 21, 2018 making her a purring, very feline LEO!! ! As is widely known and acknowledged, Leos are born leaders by nature and so by natural inclination are always at the forefront, leading the pack while strutting majestically about, so now people can just naturally understand why it's so easy and effortless for Banke to lead the pack!
And just because she is a jolly good feline in whom many are pleased, one who has touched a lot of people's lives via what she does best, which is helping to expose the best parts of them, while totally downplaying their less beautiful spots/parts,..... fans, friends, family members, colleagues etc rolled out the drums and blew the trumpets in celebration as she clocked the age of maturity! Life just simply just started for her henceforth.
